Oh damn

Yesterday, when I woke up, I could feel that there's something not right with my eyes. True enough, the stye was back. And I already got the movie date with Joce. Hmph! So I had to go to PS with my nerdy specs on. :(

Joce has shrunk! Seriusly. She said due to her hectic or mayb weird lec timing that she survived on sandwiches and two meals a day. Somebody, please make my life as hectic too. So that I won't have time to think about food. Well, at least not all the time. I'm confident enough that I had gained all the weight that I lost like more than 3mths ago. Sobs. Badminton doesn't help. At all.

Anyways, we watched Hachiko. It's kinda a predictable and straightforward story (a true one also) but I thot the Prof gonna die in a tragic way. But no. He collapsed while giving a lecture. Must be heart attack lor. And the dog actually waited for him for 9 freaking years. It's amazing! Thinking of their bond. A special one indeed and touching. Joce flooded towards the end of the show. Hee.

After the movie, she said she was hungry and wanted to have cakes. So we settled in secret recipe. Only to find out that she wanted to treat me a birthday cake there. How sweet! She even requested for a candle and the manager even brought along the Birthday Wording Stick. He even wished me Happy Bday. hehe. Here you go! My second birthday cake - even before the real day. Geez!

Today, mom bullied me in driving her to Teck Whye with my one-smaller-than-the-other eye. Haiz. But after that, sis treated us to Pizza Hut lunch! Finally my craving's satisified. But the Bak Kwa pizza not so nice lor. hee.

It's been sometime since I sit down and really pour out my feelings here. Generally, I only updated the events happening currently in my life. I must say that it's been eventful of late. Most weekends being spent in town with valid reasons. A lot of catching up with friends and such. Life's been SWEET. I giggle more. In fact, I feel more loved than ever before and I can nvr be thankful enough.

The final week of Jan started off with the date with Mr Gee. Here I go again, huh? I took half day and we went to catch Tooth Fairy. He must be awfully urghed with me cos the 1st one was PRINCESS and the Frog while the 2nd, Tooth FAIRY. Sorry Mr Gee. But I'm pretty sure that you enjoyed the movie too. What with ur loud laughter and quickly used that 'What If' on me the very next day. But probably it wasn't just all abt the movie. I can't help but to giggle till the train doors separated us. Hee. :)

On Tues, I met BFF Sally. She was gleeing when she saw me. She carried a huge bag which turned out to be my advanced Bday present. Yay! We had a brief dinner at Delifrance while doing some catching up. Sweetly, she waited with me at the interchg till her bus came. Thank you Sally. For the presents, the dinner and most importantly, for the beautiful friendship. I am truly blessed with BFFs like her.

She's the one who started calling me Mary and it kinda got contagious till everyone started to address me as Mary in Poly. Hee.

Today while I was busy tidying up the cabinet, Partner seemed anxious. She mentioned that she'd be going lunch with her friend and that she gonna pick her up. Okie. It didn't get any fishy until it was about my lunchtime. It's 1.30pm but she's not back yet. Wanted to inform Boss that I'm gonna go for my lunch. However, to my surprise, she's not at her chair. Hmmm. If she were to go to lunch with EC, I saw him at his level. While Big Boss' car wasn't there. Where cld she disappear to?? After lunch, I went back to tidying the cabinet. Then partner mentioned 5pm to celebrate SY's bday. Things got even fishier when Mags whisper2 to Partner. Not only her. Shortie was there too. Haiz. Shd I act surprised later? hehe.

Short while later, Mags came in with a big round choc cake. I was taking my own sweet time till they commanded me to come over as well. So we all sang in unity. hee. Sorry Songe. Your place was taken over by a CUTER guy. Boss let the VIP in. And we even shared a cake. hee. Thank you ALL. Haiz. I thot it was only recently that I got the late surprised bouquet of Gerberas!

So I pleaded with Boss to ask me along next time she gonna have BK for lunch! hehe.
Turned out that Partner and Boss went BK for lunch tog. WOUT me! hmph

Hectic Weekend

The plan for the weekend was to settle the invoice and go for the Loreal makeover in the evening. Sunday was to rest fully. Been feeling lethargic lately, dono why though.

So Sat morning got the stamp for the invoice and hopefully cld claim successfully. Sis so gatal wanted to have the apple crumble at Swensens, smack at 11 u know. Not even lunch or what and she wanted dessert. So we went to have banana dessert instead and rodeo wings. Gosh. So sinful. Urgh. Then went to JWest to collect her lens. What a journey. And we reached home in the noon. Lazed ard till evening came and got ready to meet iNiN. While waiting for 190, I damnly missed two of them cos of the 'strategic' location of my bus stop. Thanks. But I was early anyways. If not on time. Even managed to grab a $25 MNG skirt. hee!

The makeover was swift. Like less than 15mins. And according to the make-up artist, I was the first and only malay to NOT ask for the smokey look. I can imagine myself looking like a panda with the smokey do anyways. So...

I know u can't really see the supposedly dewy look here cos I was given the hardcopy of the pic. Can I have a sharper nose, minus the double chin and more volume in the crown dept pls??hee

And today was a last minute plan. Partner and I settled some stuff so hopefully we cld pull thru Feb smoothly. :) I'm EXCITED! Can't believe I went to town on both Sat and Sunday. What more I was just der on last Thur. Gosh!

Thank God It's Friday

I'm so tired this week yet the weekend has not even started!


On Monday was the date...
Tues, I went home straight after work. But I think I slept after 12 only.
On Wed, had that badminton session with partner. We played from super sunny to windy and then gloomy. Yeap. We braved the weather. And the ache is only kicking in today. :(
Last night had that dinner with the sec sch gals. Today I only got my currency changed and headed home. Ah Nian just called for meet up at WM but I just can't drag myself out again. Hee.


And so I have unwrapped the rocher and looked what I found in it! He told me when he passed me the present that he forgot the bunny. And that wld gave him an excuse to meet me again soon. But apparently, the bunny together with its carrot and REAL leaves attached was squeezed into the box. I wonder if Mami saw you plucking the leaves from her vegs. Gosh.




Surprisingly the box seems untouched at all with the external plastic cover still intact. While ripping it off, I realised that Songe has painstakingly used double sided tape to make it as new.

So happy to see the PINK bunny lying in there..Squeezed amongst the rochers..

And this morning on the way back to office, Partner and I spotted a grasshopper at the corridor. Super green grasshopper lor.

It was seen wobbling its way forward. One of the hind legs was missing.

But it nvr gave up and kept on perservering. :)

I feel SO loved

Mr Gee wanted to meet on Monday. Yes of all days. After like some 19days of not seeing him. And we din even plan to catch a movie or what. BUT he was proudly donning the Polo T i bot him from Uniqlo. Hee. It fits somehow. Yay!

He reached PS before me. Waiting at the foodcourt. I was abit tired of walking briskly to be there on time. Then when I threw myself on the chair, he went on to grab his dinner. I didn't have the appetite to eat though so got drinks instead. And Mr Gee, I feel SHY everytime U WANA SEE ME WHEN I DUN SEE U. Ur right in front of me so even though I looked like I'm seeing the other side of the view, the corners of my eyes still can see u lor. gosh

Then we went to search for the thing which in the end we couldn't find in town at all. Oh gosh. Took the mrt home and he willingly saved a seat for me next to an ang moh guy! Thank you for your sweet cooperation. ;) When he looked in the reflection, he was grumbling saying that he looked like a nerd. Mr Gee, no worries okie. Nerds are the coolest beings on Earth. And naitokunni likes u. Hee. Anyways, looking forward to the next date!

So today met Ah Nian! Yay for dinner as usual but kinda special cos she got me my advanced presents from Uniqlo! Thankies Nian!! And not only that, met up with Nwe Ko as well. Weee! Nvr seen her in more than ten yrs!

Dinner at BREEKS was a hearty one! Thanks girls for the advanced presies! Nwe Ko even treated us to Marvellous Cream. Yummylicious!

Songe dropped by NTU today to do his clearance and his FINAL flirt. Coincidentally, I saw him while he was parking his Londa. Hee. So I shouted his name weirdly cos I called him Songe most of the time. Finally he saw me. He passed me my Bday present. In an Adidas bag. Hmmm..With weird notes on it.

And when I peeked inside, even worst. A red plastic bag. No there's two. A white one also.
That says CK. So u bet where he got them rochers. BUT WAIT...

Something shiny caught my eyes.
And I saw something pink...And colorful too!



And I went speechless. According to him, there's 27 stars. And I thot it represented the time I knew him but I thot wrong. Anyways, I dun wish to unwrap it yet. Really.
Oh ya. THANK U Songe! :D Although I know it's rocher in there.

Aloha

Working on a Sat was tiring altho I din do much except for walking here and there. Went home and took a super short nap.

Waited till 7plus and got ready to go to Aloha party. Was greeted ALOHA by the gang upon arrival. Paiseh man! hee. Thot it's gonna be packed and crowded but thankfully the bungalow was spacious. So we got our own space near the pit. :) Had satay, chicken wing and bee hoon. Totally avoided the choc muffins. Yay! The most bestest part was to be able to meet up with BFF and Dyan.

Becos of a jam at PIE around 12am, I only reached home by 1230am. Woa only Jan and it's been two times since I came home at 1230am. Hee. I'm loving the night life! And Mr Gee was also doing his night shift so i guess it's alright. ;P

One for the memories

Was on halfday cos of the concert @ 8pm. Had a brief lunch with mom and then even managed to nap for abt an hr. Hee. Took 190 to PS bus stop and changed to 16. Was quite anxious as I thot we gonna be late. Nvr been to a concert before but sis assured me we'll be on time. When we reached, woa about half of the crowd made up of ang mohs.

The show started with Prima Donna doing their number. They were also responsible for warming up the crowd. Of cos everyone just cldn't wait for GREEN DAY to appear instead. Aft Prima Donna, the lights came on. Changes and setting done on stage and a drunked bunny appeared. Everyone cheered for GREEN DAY still. And about 9pm, the trio came running on stage. YEAH! Everyone just stood up.


Billie Joe was such an entertainer. Could tell he was pretty excited to be performing in S'pore for the first time ever altho they'd been much around for 21years. Gosh! He was concerned of the crowd's safety though.


There was a point of time he sprayed water using the hose at the sides of the stage onto those in the mosh pit. Besides the hose, he used a water gun as well. And then rolled tissues on them afterwards. Ocassionally, he called up volunteers from the pit and in fact one guy who dyed his hair green got to do a whole song with them on stage! How lucky! And he sure did S'pore proud by doing the song quite well.

I liked the fact that the band did all the various songs from the diff albums. In fact Billie did sing other songs such as 'Love me tender...love me sweet...' for the fun of it. Nevermind that he cld be a lil shortie but he was conquering every corner of the stage with his jumps and getting the crowd involved with his HEY HO.......OH he even flashed his ass! :) The whole gig lasted for about two hours and you bet I was so entertained!!





We rushed to take 16 back to City Hall but to our dismay, no more last train avail. Fortunately though, we got a cab at Raffles City shopping mall. A merc somemore. Reached home only at 1230am.

I woke up early this morning, fried the rice and got ready to go ECP. Actually I was already dragging to go cos it's been ages since I last cycled and I would love to avoid the sun if possible. So somehow Sis and I still reached ECP and swiftly rented the bicycles. Sis was saying that there's no more 2hr and it'd be only an hour's cycle. But to our shock, we were told we've got three hours. Rent for an hour and get two hours free!! Gosh! No way am I going to cycle under the hot sun for three freaking hours. We gave up after 1.5hours. hee and made our way to PS to catch The Spy Next Door. Am feeling tired now...The hangover, the exhaustion from the cycling and the lack of slp. What's worst? I be working tomorrow! Perfect! But I know it won't be so bad afterall. :D

Saturdayed

Yesterday, woke up early just to go to the bank and activate my new VISA.
Sis managed to grab her NETS kad as well. We were all done and home by 330pm.
Felt happy to have completed the essential shopping early. Because, I managed to buy my Genifique Eye FINALLY (and will be sleeping on Mr Gee from last night onwards), the card, my Green DaY Tee from ermmmm Penin and sis got her spanking red Manhattan bag.
Brisk walked at 430pm and it wasn't such a good idea cos I think now I'm a shade darker. :(

It was extraordinarily SUNNY yesterday!

Sunny cos Mr Gee was mushy last night. Is it him or is it just me?? Heee

Badminton!

Call us crazy but we managed to play badminton at Yunnan Gdn.
Finally, my rackets got put to use after so long collecting dust at my shelf. Hee.

Oblivious to my knowledge, I have been trying to draft a blog since the 1st of Jan.
Sadly, the words just don't seem quite right and it didn't pour out smoothly.
Hence, here comes the first ever entry for Twenty Ten.

I was so tired that I deliberately woke up late this morning.
Thankfully, I did not miss my bus else that would be a record broken in history.
Wow.


Anyways, today marked the first day of school for many. All I saw was stainless white shoes making their traces on the streets, new bags and well-ironed school uniforms. :)

Nope. I haven't jot down the NY resolutions as yet. Bah!
Sis has already questioned me and I freaked out telling her that

I'm turning 27 with nothing much achieved.
She replied confidently that she's turning 30 and she's not a bit scared at all. U sure? haha.


Let's just look forward to what's happening in Jan for me. GREEN DAY concert gonna be next week!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHH! It's gonna be my first EVER concert you know.
Would be donning my super skinny black jeans from F21 and draw loads of liner on the eyes. Still contemplating should I get a GREEN DAY tee as well. Hee!

Then on the weekend will be BFF's and Baby Dyan's big bash. Theme pls?? So that I cld dig out my wardrobe for sumting appropriate. I'm loving theme parties since Geek In the Pink! hee


The following weekend will be Mentel session with the babe and Loreal!
Can I lose wt by then?? haha.. I WISH.. Really.


Anyways, Langkawi family trip has been confirmed and it's gonna be our first time going away on my bday. Probably gonna miss Mr Gee but as he said, he will always be with me.... In BB. ;D
