I had a great time with Joce on Monday watching 'How to train your Dragon'. Movies with her tend to be more giggly than others (except for My Sister's Keeper and Hachiko of course). Hee. Got home at 11plus and the bright moon - as well as Mr Gee (he'd better lor) via BB, kept me company home.

Last night when sis came home, she was anxious to see a green grasshopper outside bro's room at the corridor. Quickly she informed him and he went out in his boxers (smacks my forehead), grabbed the lidi broom and chased it away. Luckily for him the neighbors were not there to witness him. Otherwise he could be sued for indecency. haiz..

Strangely, tonight when I just returned home, the grasshopper suddenly came there at the same spot. Yes Songe! It's a grasshopper this time cos it doesnt seem like it's praying. At all. Hahaha! Told Mak and she quickly grabbed the lidi broom (again!) and said some prayers before KILLING it. Being a Boyanese, my Mak believes that sometimes people may use grasshoppers as senders of evilness. Now that it's been killed, I hope we wld not see it again tmr night. And prayed it was just a harmless one.

I wanted to blog on last Wed but somehow I cldn't get off the couch and watched tv throughout till bedtime. :) While on Thurs, two BFFs called and so had a chat with them before continuing with the tv sessions. Yes! I'm a TV junkie which is from 7-1030pm nightly.

I hurriedly rushed to catch my tpt on Friday but at the last min was dragged to Kopi Bean at JP. Hang out with iNiN from like 6 to 9pm there. We just talked about everything under the night sky..Yah rite! hee.. But it felt good to have such chats. Ocassionally.

Sat came and I went out early to Courts at Lot 1 before taking the train to Newton. Spent 1130 to 1630 at Sheraton's Dining Room. See if I could steal some of the food pics and put them up here. Altho the main objective was to just eat and eat, the thot of having to 'work' on a Sat sucks big time. Hee! But we went to do mani/ pedi aft that. Reached home at night...

Yup. She spent more than $150 lia0.. ooops!
And she had that disgustingly CUTE ribbons on her nails...Faint!

Today sent sis to JP then Mak so the irritating wanted to go to 400+ mkt at JW. Haiz. In the end only bot Sotong and Tongkol. I'm not gonna agree to drive her there ever again. Will stick to the old humble Gombak Mkt. :)

Just reached home and got sms from Syiq. Supposed to meet her like at 2pm only but somehow she finished up her thing earlier. So got ready in less than 10mins and we watched WHIP IT at 1240. Haha..Early seh for a Sunday movie date! Aft that we headed over to Bugis to have Zamzam for late lunch and bought ourselves Cloths! Yay! Now all settled. Was sunny so we chilled at Kopi Bean (again!) before heading home.

I was happily bb-ing Mr Gee at our usual night chats when suddenly BB vibrated. Thinking it was an sms, I closed Mr Gee's window. But ur name caught my attention. R u going to invite me to ur big day? I thot to myself. But no. When I opened the msg. this is what it showed.

After almost 6mths later, ur telling me that ur SORRY. U wldn't wanna know what u've put me thru. Tears instantly flowed while reading ur msg. But no. I wasn't sad for you. In fact I didn't cry COS of you. It just gave me flashbacks of what I've been thru. No one has ever made me feel that low before. U did somehow. U managed to put me to ground zero after 7years. It must have been fantastic to leave me so that u cld look for someone skinnier, prettier and whatever else I am NOT. I gave in to u. Despite the shame and hurt I'm gonna cause my family. Yes. U've succeeded. Then.

Everyone around me kept saying u gonna bite ur fingers soon but I chose to believe that I knew u better. U will nvr ever regret cos now u know what u've been looking for. However, somehow my prayers have been answered. Wanting so much for u to realise what u've done to me was the only thing I cld ask for.

Family and friends were there for me when ur gone. Working kakis, acquaintances and even sis' BFFs were there to lend me their precious support. Oh not forgetting the ex-bfs. Yes. Two of them were there for me. That guy u thot was a total jerk STOOD by me.

Well, I'm sorry I couldn't be there for u this time when u feel like the world is against u. I'm sorry that the skinnier gfs u've got after me lasted for a while. I'm sorry I wld not be able to wait for u faithfully at Harborfrnt with ur fave Beard Papa puffs. I'm sorry I'm not bringing myself to see ur parents and nenek and asking if they're fine. I'm sorry for hating the fact that u smoke. I'm sorry that I just wanted u to have faith in Allah. I'm sorry for not being able to accompany u anymore. I'm sorry cos I managed to pick myself up again after u've put me down. I'm sorry for not being the perfect girl for you. And I'm sorry for having gotten OVER you.

Of course I told Mr Gee immediately after I received the msg and he gave me two advices. 1) Do not reply his msg and just find it deep in my heart to forgive him OR 2) Reply him and tell him that I've got Mr Gee as my bf now and that's that.

Nope. I did NOT reply him. I feel that there is no need for him to know if i'm alive and kicking. Let Allah tell him that I've long forgiven him. But whatever had took place will nvr ever be forgotten. Move on now.

in Awe

So there we were giggling at the Pizza Hut's girl cos her back was facing us. When suddenly a familiar face came into the picture and said, "I see you later!"
I think my jaw dropped there and then.

Mr Gee rushed out of Pizza Hut followed by his bff.
Just hope it wld be the One and Only Bumper. Haha.

I think it's the specs Syiq! Pls dun put it on again...Duh

Finally, my cravings for Pizza has been done and over with. :)

A pretty long weekend... :D

My weekend seems to have started early this week. Not that I was on leave on Friday or what but I went to meet Ah Nian to have a sumptous dinner. It was CRAZY. One of the craziest dinner I had with Nian but I dun mind MORE of them...Hehe. So here it goes:

But got this instead and din complain but continued eating.

Ah Nian enjoyed it cos it din burn up her tongue..Hmph

We decided to walk over to King Albert's Park. Hee.
Intention was to burn the fats.


I simply loved King Albert's park MacD.
I rem I attended a Bday party here when I was in pri sch...
Oh yes. Bday parties at Serene Ctr Mac's also.
I miss MacD parties! Hee


So burn fats we did! With hot n spicy shaker fries. Haha.



We browsed thru Cold Storage and stumbled upon the Easter Eggs chocs. Super yummy!

So last evening we went to catch Disney on Ice.
My first time there..Woa the girls really dressed up in their fave princess' gowns.
I wish I had mine too...Haha..

I couldn't Complain...

It was a loooong way to get to the mid-week. But oh am I so glad that it's SO over! Yay! Phew.. Boss asked (which means she requested me) to stay for dinner on the Tue. And I thot I'd be working a lil bit extra hour to maybe up to 7pm. But as the guests came in and everything had settled in, it's almost 8 by then... The blow came when she told me the catering guys cld only come by after 9...But I couldn't complain cos it's not often I was asked to stay behind a lil while. Furthermore, she wld definitely whisk me to Bn Lay mrt. The funny thing was I spent an awkward (well probably not SO awkward) moment with the Boss in the mtg room. She logged into her msn via her Iphone while I was in tru my BB....So there u go! Boss and Me in msn in the same room...Anyways, the more I couldn't complain cos she went back to office to grab our bags (yes! mine included) so that we cld just go back frm the mtg room directly. I reached home around 10.15pm. Probably one of the rare late nights at work. The last I rem was to send out hundreds of letters.

Moving on now, Mr Gee had given me my 2nd dp (display pic) from his spoilt VAIO. I couldn't complain cos I think he must've enjoyed giggling at my distorted faces but I'm pretty sure he's admiring them at the same time. Blueks! And stop reminding me of that so nostalgic song which nvr fail to make my hair stand. Eeeew!

tHe pOuR-OutS

It was a long week indeed. But thankfully the Open House was over and done with! Yay.

Although we only had three lab tours for that day, it was more tiring than ever as each tour took almost 1.5hrs and inclusive of about 40pax. But Mr Gee was sweet enough (or maybe he was just bored at work) to bb me all day long... Hee. ;P

MAE was next to our booth and they had this UDO (according to Mr Gee) placed near their booth. I was trying hard to find the wheels.

I was exhausted by end of the day but that didn't stop me from mtg Syiq.
Passed her those skirts and we spent almost 3hrs eating, window shopping and chatting.
I even had durian coil while she a durian pancake...Yummy seh!

Bro was sweet to have gotten me this cooling pad for my netbook.
But I dun understand the neon light..
It feels so Beng...

No. My Monday din turn out so blue but yet lousy still. Yikes!
Probably cos of last night.
Who wld want to be misunderstood?
Not me. Not even you.
But people have their own individualistic opinions so that, I have to respect.
Be it right or wrong, I guess it's best that sometimes, some words are better left unsaid.
All along, I have been trying to talk less. Be more quiet or rather ignorant.
But people will start questioning. Why am I so quiet? This is not me.
Not the person I wld usually be.
Contradicting. Confusing.

Well, I hate having to jot this down. The -ve side of life.
It's just natural when one's happy, you'll spread the joyness instantly.
But when you start feeling a tad down, others may question what's the problems that lie beneath.
You wldn't wanna spread the bad energy around, do you?

I've been taking things that happened in my stride.
And I jolly well know I shld be doing just that for the rest of my life.
Sure, I'll break down at times.
But it definitely feels good after a hearty cry out at the end of a bad day.

I guess I just need my junk grocery shopping badly.. Hee

So bought this cute lil luggie at $189 from Delsey. Ori price was $360..So it's a STEAL.

The mani+pedi was crucially long today. And the nails are still not short.
Urgh! Spent like almost two hours in there yet I dun feel pampered.

And a looooooong work week awaits.... Oh boy!
