Excited Much.

My dress came on Monday in a crumpled envelope. But I still love the contents of it. And also the tiny2 details they paid attention to. Happiness guaranteed indeed on my 1st online purchase of a dress despite the anxiety of the waiting.

My ONLY consolation on a Monday. ;)

Went to the Bazaar last nite. For the first time with Mr G and on wknight of the fasting mth. Nvr and wldnt ever wana go there esp during this time cos of the crowd and generally cos of everything abt Bazaar. So I kinda braved myself for what to expect but it turned out to be rather exciting. When we reached, we were able to walk freely inside the Bazaar as the storekeepers were bz breaking fast and the crowd hasn't really creep in. We grabbed Ramly burger (I know, yikes esp for break fast but made do with wat we got) and ate at the field behind the tentages. Hee.

Anyways the objectives of going there:
- Buy flowers for mom (those fake plastics ones lah)
- Buy curtain hooks for mom
- Buy kerepek for myself

While Mr G's was:
- Buy cookies for his colleagues (seems like for the whole company)

- Buy makmur for himself

Looking at all the flowers at the bazaar, they looked oh so fake.
Decided to go to the shop behind JC instead.

Anyways, ALL in ALL, these were what we borong last nite:

- 5 stalks of flowers

- 105 pcs of hooks (uncle gave me extra) :)

- 9 Ayam Percik (imagine 9 bulohs sticking out of our plastic bags =_=")

- 200gm of dendeng

- 14 mini bottles of cookies (selling at 4 for $10 but since Mr G wanted to buy $30, he got 14 bottles instead after I merely asked the guy for disct - I just can't helped it. hee)

- 2kg of kerepek (almost fainted when the indon guy retrieved a carton of kerepek, yah I got $1 disct cos from same shop as Mr G's cookies)
- a bottle of makmur

With all the huge bags in hand and the bulohs sticking out, whined to him to take a cab hm instead. And I managed to convince him. Easily. hee.

Mr G bot me this! Probably cos I mentioned to him to buy for me IF he's gg Geylang.
Seriously, I had not listened to a full Hari Raya song yet this yr.
It's just diff. There's too many events coming up besides Hari Raya.
Altho I didn't buy any Baju and that the cookies we made were only erm abt 5 varieties, I felt ready for Raya with this cd. hehe.
Oh TB! Urm I tink I shall put my pic next to him instead. hee.

Took today off and tot I cld re-energise myself aft last nite's spree but I was drained still.
Went to go Ikea with mom early in the morn and as usual, always deviate from the main shopping list. In the end, splurged $85+ from there and had to cab back.

Been thinking of this lappie support almost every nite before slp.
Didnt buy it tho cos it's so similar to a chopping board.

Settled for this instead!
It's $10 pricier than the former.
Loves it tho at 2nd look from afar, it's not much diff from a toilet seat/ pottie. heeeeee.

It was so nice to be hanging out with PSBF on a Fri evening.

Breaking fast and chit chatting. In the park.

I had Wendy's actually.
But we went over to Mac for dessert.

So we daydreamed abt hol trips over Double Choc drink and Choc Rasp cake. Each.

I spent over ten hrs in the kitchen this weekend. :(
Did a total of 7 cookies!!!

Choc Chip Spotties.
Gone are the days of M&M and Milo cookies.

This is a new one.
Choc Berry. Cornflakes mixed with melting chocs and Cranberry.

And another new addition. Choc Chip cookies.
I've added hazelnuts.
And believe it anot, I havent try any of the cookies which I made. Hee.

I dunno why but I'm quite close to my sis' frens. And I'm not even intimidated by their genius brains. Becos they are truly humble and cool geeks! Hee.

Travelled with her and such.
She's been with sis since 2000.
That's like more than a decade ago!
I love how simply frenship cld last and pull tru the tests of time. :)

And u wanna know what's her bday presies were??
Face mist makeup base, bumble bee coin bank, Ipoda (no kidding!) bunny Iphone cover, F21 corduroy jacket, Mac primer. Just from the four of us!
Not forgetting the huge balloon.
A group of poly students even screamed Happy Bday to her while she walked past them. tsk

Under the weather. Yet again

My last MC was back on 21st March. I wldn't have known if not for the doc who made a reference just now. It was a 2 day MC too. She was kinda amazed tho but I was thinking to myself, Hey that's just 5mths ago, that's pretty bad hah?! So she diagnosed me with the Super Combo of Flu + Sore Throat + Low-grade fever (in her own words). It was high-grade fever last nite resulting in a slpless nite for me.

Shame on me cos in my family, I took the most MC among them all.
Sis nvr had an MC ever. Bro probably cos of doc appts.

By the way, the doc kept instructing me to have ample of rest and I rem she repeated thrice to be exact. Am I that shagged? hee.
But I did pass out aft getting high on drugs. ;p
At least 2 of them cld cause drowsiness.

The new fridge came today!

It looked kinda like a cupboard. =_='
And mom still preferred white to black.
Too bad!

Dad had slpless nites for a wk awaiting for the arrival of this new fridge.
That's becos the old one's still functionable only that it leaked ocassionally.
He so sayang to dispose it off cos it's been with us for more than 11yrs.

Before catching Jump las Sunday, we looted choc chips and choc blocks from Hersheys.
The raya cookies better taste nice this time! hee.
Went into KissJane and tried a Maxi Dress on.
Kinda happy like mad cos managed to squeeze into the Free Size dress. =___="
And to grab a dress for under $40! That's a steal! Right?
But then I managed to find the blogshop and they're selling it for $5 less with free shipping.
So I did the unthinkable (justifying myself with wedding invites ahead).
I bot another piece online (in a diff color) of cos.
Sis dono yet.
She so gonna kill me if she finds out!
But it'd be my first ever online shop (for clothes).
Excited! Dun tink I be hooked for online shopping tho cos the fact that I'm unable to touch and try the clothes on still bothers me much. And their Free Sizes are not that Free! At all.
Hee.

It's been a while....

Ok. Felt that I took too much of a break from blogging. Wondered if any strangers been missing me. Hee. Anyhows, here's wat happened lately.

Mr G was looking forward to our 1st break-fast this yr. I assumed he was. Becos he was cheerily requesting to dine at the place which we had our very 1st break-fast tog last yr. I cld vaguely rem exactly where but when he mentioned choc brownie and such, it wld have to be BreekS. To my dismay, they had changed their menu and while I was craving for their salmon spag, cldn't find a replacement on what to have. Settled on their ribeye instead cos didn't get the chance to try Meatworks @ Ion as yet. Probably had our most ex break-fast at $70++. He even packed those not so cheesy waffle fries home.

Thankfully, the brownie still rock!
The Best was saved for Last. :)

That's my 100gm ribeye and I seriously dun fancy the way the hotdog's been rolled.
While the corn tasted as if it wasn't that cooked, the hotdog's cheese fillings cheered me on.

Why the waffle fries didn't taste as gd as it was last yr?
Sure they squeezed lotsa cheese on top but those at the bottom were plainly...Waffle fries! :(

So here's what I wore for the convo ball.
My 1st maxi dress from F21 + Dotti jacket from Sydney. ;)

And what EC got for me.
He must've globed to Paris and stopped by Korea.

Sally was quick to ask me out for Break-fast.
And I love impromptu meets!
She immediately made reservations at Tiffany.
We walked from Outram all the way to the place.

By the way, today's actually Mr G's Bday.
And this was what I made for him and got it parcelled to his box.
Will definitely be the last gift to him cos I got reprimanded instead.

And for the record (I must record!), he picked me up TWICE at work this week.
Well for both times it wasn't that specially just to pick me up.
It was cos of his lessons. :)
And dun get us wrong!
We're not like those mushy and sweet couples who wore practically the same colored outfits.
It was Pure Coincidence.
I kinda liked this pic tho cos we were supposed to include the mini waterfall behind us and no we weren't standing. In fact, we were seated on those rocks and somehow he looked so much taller.

Time of the year

The weeks seem to pass by even faster than ever. While I'm looking forward to after Raya and such, I'm not ready to face next week.

Helped dad with the re-painting of the door.
I must say it looked quite pretty now.
In a shade of honey.

Will be catching this play.
On the 5th day of Raya.
