What do you mean it’s still the wkend?

Every raya I would looked back and pondered how I managed to survive cooking for groups of guests.
Not that my cooking sedap na but at least edible. Heh.
Sis already ordered mini buffet for her gathering but she still requested for my sambal udang. This recipe from mom is so underrated. Ingredients super simple just dried chilli, lotsa onions garam and gula. No asam no belacan. I would whip this every Raya.
Food was not bad but lacked telur rebus. And that ikan is weird combo eh with ketupat. Sapa la makan lontong with ikan. So I cooked that sambal udang, delivered it early morning, had 2 servings of meals and went home to prep for night guests. Also probably the 1st time we had guests over late till almost 11pm. But heart’s so so full. I only cooked lontong goreng and the husb said a tad bit too sweet (eeeeks!) and fried nuggets, chix popcorn and few drumlets. Bff even brought along cheesecake and love letters for us. Alhamdulillah despite having to help sis host her besties, I managed to receive 2 groups of guests. I truly appreciate (word ni lagi) guests making time to come by our humble place.

And and and… it’s been a few wkends by now.
Am I supposed to be jealous already?? Haha.
Later I doa more okie. For you to mention that way early in our conversations meant you were in that situation before? That got people jealous one ar? Tapi i got no time seh. I busy. Busy fikir nak buy new shoes, busy stressing about mould on my bags, busy nak cari kasut sekolah, busy nak fikir vote untuk siapa… tsk
