Floral Fantasy at GBTB

The start of the long weekend for the boy but the last weekend for the husband to relax before the new term starts. So guess no more early homecomings for the husband.
This Floral Fantasy trip was rather impromptu.
Didn’t plan ahead with mom and since Dad’s overseas, thought wanted to bring her out and have a little fun. Sis agreed of course and so we ended up there.
But we totally forgotten how chaotic and crowded it could get.

Well, my plan was to have dinner at PS then to Floral Fantasy in the evening.
However the entrance required allocated timeslots for crowd control and I think it was a good idea too so that everyone could enjoy the exhibition thoroughly.
After discussion we decided to purchase the 5-6pm tickets.
Reached about half an hour early so had to hang around for a bit before being allowed in.
The strong floral scent greeted us instantly once inside.

How cool that the kid’s Godzilla fits in naturally with the surroundings.
Yeap we went to WM especially to buy this for the boy.
He’s into Godzilla and Dinosaurs now.

So pretty you really gotta see it for yourself.

Really want a garden of my own. 🌻🌼🌸

Bed of roses. 🌹

Another beautiful flowers.

Used to be my favourite. Hydrangeas!

Such beautiful paddle pop/ unicorn/ pastel Orchid. ❤️❤️❤️

Another unique plant.
I really don’t mind going back again.
Less crowded compared to the Domes and the gift shop sells affordable fresh flowers!
We had to queue so long for Texas Chicken and ended up our dinner by the time the Supertree show starts. So had to watch.
Then we took maxi cab home which is the most expensive cab ride ever!!!
Close to $59!!!! For the 5 of us!
