Egg-cellent

 Alhamdulillah, managed to celebrate the egg-cellent sil’s bday today. Allah’s timing so perfect. Masha Allah.

Exhausted

This week’s been speechless. I slept instantly after landing on bed last night. Started the week with visiting the gf. Met the husb and her poly friend. Quite a gathering.

Tues came and I was determined to settle the teacher’s day gifts. Had to take the tram and had to be seated with the driver eh. Adventure sungguh early in the morn. 

Glad all settled for now. Hope that they’re happy to receive this tiny token of appreciation especially the

 pun-ny written cards.

Hump day came and I went home almost immediately to settle chores and restock dry goods. Thur decided to go to parents’ to collect the voucher so that we could settle the boy’s outfit for next weekend. Abeh tiba la dad wanted me to send him to A&E. Plan was to visit obek. So A&E, Obek, then rushed to grab lunch and fetch the boy. Penat can?

Alhamdulillah all’s well. Grateful could meet up with the bestie too for brief catch up cos I’m at her workplace. Can’t believe we gossiped over fruits. Dad’s discharged and ala he eh. Baru first night at hospital da dpt cake and murtabak from his ward member. Ni mesti la da byk stories. Had my nails done. Looked pretty but of cos didn’t last long. Heh. 

Cute much? 

Went to see the gf again today since we went to Orchard. And had really great quality time with her. And just like that can you believe? 3 strangers talked to me at the rehab ctr. And so many stories. 😔

Guess life’s like that la.

 Been wanting to grab the cup holder from Chagee and didn’t expect to be #1. 

All the way in the West early morning. Probably my 1 and only time gonna be the 1st to order. 

Fixed my pink Honda while the boy fixed his blue McLaren. Eh not only kepala pening badan also ache eh. 

Cute eh?

After a wk, went to see the gf today. Saw her big smile and she gripped my fingers though I told her I wanted to make a move. My mind went through so much when I looked her in the eyes. And she could tell. 🥺

Tea

 It was a very very tiring weekend and Monday!

You know that tiredness from previous week brought over to the new week. But! Despite all that, weekend was fulfilling indeed. 🤍

He finished up his vouchers with another Fred Perry work shirt and a kesian wallet. Supposed to get him a new one for anni but he grabbed this one instead. 

Happy that I got to spend some time with the gf and she’s awake after napping just upon my arrival. Saw her smile a bit when I showed off my pink shoes and she finished up her thick tea. 

Husb brought back a surprise. I’ve been restraining myself from getting this one cos pricey and thankfully we got non doggy. Heh. Aaaaahh loves random surprises.

And also sis shared bonus with me! With a fuchsia parka and a light pink top. So grateful! 🩷

Burg-day celebration

After a postponed date cos 2 households down with C+, his bday celebration happened 2 days after.

And ntah kenapa I’ve decided to cook last min.

Even went to grab the ingredients just this morning. 

So had Mee Rebus (siap with limau and tahu) and Oden in the menu. Mom brought his fave kuah satay, fruits and pudding. 

And this, huge burg cake for him.

Tasted as good as it looks. 

Can’t believe he’s gotten 6 new shirts and 2 jeans from the family. And he’s so gonna grab more with Abg’s voucher. 

Dinner was satay and otah and those juicy prawns.

 Alhamdulillah. Husb turned 44 today. The planned day was jam packed and we managed to reach home by late noon. Though we weren’t able to get all the things we wanted.

1st pit stop. To use his bday discount for the books he wanted. 

While waiting for Grab to our lunch venue. 

1st time trying Tomahawk with Nasi Lemak. Quite a wait but delish. 

Requested for candle but the whole cafe sang him the bday song. Eh reminded me of the 1st time we celebrated his bday 15 years ago. 🥹

One step at a time

Overwhelmed is an understatement. But Allah gave me the opportunity to rest. Fully for the last few days. To breathe. And settle the chores at home. 

Alhamdulillah for this little break from the daily rush. 

And also thankful and blessed for friends who kept us in check. For helping to escort the boy home and even bought us relief.

🥹 Really so much more to life than you. What was I thinking? What was I doing? Masha Allah.

The husb wld be turning 44 in a bit. But he’s the one who’s been  getting me stuff. Well I got his gift and card settled! And cake too. Except his party.

Grats to me for having survived cold turkey for a whole week! Not that hard actually. Yay!

And today would have been more than enough for the wkend. Went to so many places omg. 

Greenridge - cck - expo - geylang - arab st - cck - home.

And definitely a feast despite mom being unwell. Hope she feels better soon. 

Dad jalan2 at expo and didn’t get anything. Guess he just wanted to see how it’s actually like. Saw a few artists too. We bought food instead such as the funny pau, a classic ter miss u and a $15 choc strawberries. Tsk. Managed to restock my shampoo also with free gifts. 

Went Geylang after and so happy managed to grab instant tuds using my CDC vouchers. 

And no, didn’t forget you a bit and I’m still with you.
