Reflections

 Week seems to fly by so quickly this time.

Prolly cos he’s on leave last Monday. 

Spotted this one on our hmm hope to be weekly cycling but the sch hols awaits so doubt it’ll be weekly. 

Fave pic of the day cos she’s looking into the water as if looking at her own reflection. 

And that the boy had to write reflections on his Malay paper. Kinda a reminder that I should perhaps reflect on myself too. Baaaaah. 

Cycled a bit for this bf! Crispy prata and salty maggi goreng. Running out of cycling routes already. 

It’s distance

 It’s been really messy of late.

So many things ongoing. 

Like hey, chill skit pls. 

Had a bit of retail therapy yesterday.

Don’t even wanna share abt that Adidas experience. 

Thinking back it didn’t make sense to have the promo after a certain timing. 

The fact that 1 staff said 5 items, cashier said 4’s enough.

Husb on medical leave for his follow-up and I’m quite annoyed at the clinic. May this be the last time. 

Went to catch the Mummy not before we had a blur screen played at the beginning. He told the staff and the manager had to reset the projector. 

Wei, macam2 eh. And I’m beginning to have trauma post movies because of GV’s exit walkways. 

The amount of mould and sticky stains on the floors. Ugh.

Now’s that he’s done with exams, let’s move back to Gear 3 before increasing again end of June.

Was there with her when she’d decide to skip tutoring and blamed it on ‘projects’.

Many many memories and I’m beyond thankful she’s accepted me despite my flaws. For that few years, I did not expect our friendship to last till today. 

I am so blessed. 

So easy to grab her gifts now since she gave me the list!

I had wagyu burger while she ordered laksa.

Her bday apple waffle. 

Now instead of notes, tutorials, boys, we have to face life’s challenges head on. May we be given the strength, courage and patience.

Every season

 serves a reason. 

Woke up early on a Sunday to join dozens of pro cyclists.

Enjoyed the breeze, the hopping squirrel, the rooster giving his all to cockadoodledoo when I teased him with Chicken Jockey. A brisk-walking uncle greeted me morning, witnessed the firetruck jetting some water and even bumped into Mr Postman. 

Dragged the sis all the way to Jalan Kayu.

Probably the furthest hood I’ve reached by cycling. 

Excited to see some new continuation of tracks.

Plane spotting. 

All for this expensive Mom’s day breakfast treat from sis. 

And them made me walked 4 bus stops home but ended the day with this gift. 🥹

Cannot wait for the week to be over when it has yet to even start.

 Celebrated mom today.

Alhamdulillah. 

Her bday flowers this year.

And her bday cake. Was similar to previous year but this time, pink instead of purple flowers. 

Oh how we need to grow emotionally after realising how much our parents have aged. 🥹

Sebenarnya

 Started the long supposedly chillax weekend with a long distance cycling. It was our first time cycling from gbtb to ecp. Despite 1 treacherous high slope, the rest of the track was a breeze. 

Not bad huh. Can do it again. 

It rained quite a heavy drizzle when we were about to start but we cycled on. Then the sky cleared. 

It was indeed a quality time with sis and of course had to ketuk her.

Tak kisah lah the tonnes of mugs I already have at home. Let’s just add these pinky ones to the collection. 🩷

Had a weird dream this wee morning. A feel good and kind of sad one involving a stranger guy.
