Heart’s SO FULL

 Funny how I was whining about everyone being away, then on Friday the bf bestie crashed over, jiran came up and we caught up A LOT. Well, that’s after a fulfilling Thursday when we settled many errands. Alhamdulillah. 

Went to sis’ place, bil’s, mall, mom’s then finally home. 

Pancit. 

So happy to see all of them back in SG. And that we got so many goodies. Sis belanja pizza today.

Also squeezed a brunch date with cousin. Probably my 1st laksa asam in so so long. Not so pretty presentation and tasted mild too. But thankful for the meet-up and oh my gosh too many goodies laaah. Will post on our Dinosaurs Extinction visit and all of the goodies we got next!

What is this?

Boy been productive. He’s done washing all that should be cleaned. Even his water bottle bag but might even get him a totally new one. Been feeling out of sorts. Cos prolly the parents and sis are away, the jiran away, next the bf sidekick also going away, away from you too and i’m just stuck at home. Alhamdulillah managed to complete 4 days puasa so far and left with 1 hoping to be done by this week. 

Nope. No solid plans yet for Dec. Still thinking still contemplating. A little break tmr hopefully gonna be a breather but packed still. Have to go to at least 3 places. Oh boy. 

The school hols

 Never imagine that I’d start the sch holidays with a meet-up with chichers. Seriously!

And I came home right at 11pm eh. 

The hangover kinda rabak. 

But I had fun, great food and totally great company. 

Had this ink pasta. 

A tentacle for starters. 

🥹 Didn’t expect to receive gifts from them. I mean I only knew them recently and to receive gifts. So touching.

Thought I could not accept anyone new but Allah knows best. They provide me with fresh perspectives in life. 

Plan for the upcoming week and let’s see if we can achieve it!

The End

It was such a long day. 

We went out as per normal school day but gotta squeeze with the working people. Alhamdulillah though managed to catch the rather empty bus to the airport. Sempat main arcade and then met the fam. 

So pretty la, sure prettier at night. 

Weird angle but really nice. 🥹

It’s the start of the year end break for the boy but gotta wait for the husb to be able to take AL. 

Let me catch my breath first before we start the routine again. And yeap, it’s the end of you and me. Gonna forget you ever existed. 

Dozen matter

 Alhamdulillah our marriage turns 12 today.

If I could tell you, marriage is better than couple ship. 

Probably the blessings that comes with it.

Husb took leave today and I tire him out totally. 

Besides the hearty Capati bf (he had 3 pieces and they’re damn thick ok), we had 2 pancakes for brunch. 

So pretty lah. Really appreciates (eh stoppit ko!) the design despite the incorrect spelling. 🥹

Birthdays

Weekend filled with birthdays.

Happy to see the girlfriend and giving her purple roses on her special day. She touched those petals and even tried to smell them. 🥹

Bday meal celebration with the family.

Tried Namu Bulgogi. 

And sis left her bday flowers at our house.

Looked pretty good pink and yellow combo.

 

16 years

Just like that, 16 years together.

Probably the biggest bouquet ever of 111 roses. 🥹

Celebrated the sister’s bday with brunch at Eden. 

Such a hearty one. Then impromptu-ly ended up cycling to my place with mini cakes and bubble tea.

After settling the boy from school, we cycled to Seletar reservoir. Her bestie had a fall, we saw Great Egret those big white bird, huge monitor lizard chilling, an eagle circling above us and then rain came. 

That avo pasta! Yums. 

Her mini cakes which I didn’t try but had the choc rasp one which was yummy. 

Look at the view! So grateful to be living nearby. ❤️

Not so random meet-up

 

Despite the long 25 years of friendship we had, this was probably the 1st time ever we went out together with the kids. When the eldest already turning 15 next year! 😱

Usually meets-up only at our houses cos chaos every single time. Cannot be thankful and grateful enough to be blessed with a friend like her cos she’s by my side through thick and thin. 🥺

Road to sixteen

After all those packed weekends, this wkend was a breather. Phew. Well not so much of a break cos we squeezed a brief visiting yesterday. 

Today husb brought us out to grab gifts!

Never did engraving before cos doubt will keep them forever. But cool huh?

What a haul! Wanted to order online but saw they have it at the store so gotta grab. 🥺

Ultra grateful and thankful for husb sticking around for 16 years. Masha Allah.

How can I not update about that dinner with the husb?

It’s been too long since I attended a formal event. 

Glad it wasn’t that awkward and it rained so heavy but we managed to get home by public. So proud. 

Super red gerbera sitting pretty on the table. 

Food was yums too. Alhamdulillah for his long service award. But our rship longer hor. So I deserve an award too? 

And to think we had a solemnisation and wedding to go the next day? Grateful to be able to meet with the cousins again to celebrate love. And thankful too for the gifts! 

Hey lights up! Looking forward to the beautiful gift sets and pretty lights. 

And that time we took a gojek and a BYD came. So jakun la can see through! Even the way to open door was different! 

Had to self collect this super yummy assorted kek lapis. 

It was gone in no time. Happy that sis gotten me Hanasui lippies! Hmmm so now that school’s cooling down, is it time to plan for the break? But the husb’s exam season coming up. Excited to have many upcoming celebrations!
