Social battery

 Is running really low. 

After all the Raya visitings and guests and meets-up recently, my social battery needs to be recharged. 

Please let me have the 1st week of hols to regain my energy back. I need to find myself again. 

But hey, already having wedding invites for the upcoming 2 wkends. 

Not gonna plan anything yet and take it slow. 

But got to stock up the fridge for the hols.

Our last few groups of guests for this Syawal. Cooked them Nasi Lemak, Mee goreng, Sambal Telor and Udang and Ayam goreng and nuggets. Alhamdulillah. Thankful for the buah tangan too. 

Happy that I managed to catch up with the ex partner who’s our annual guests. ❤️

Then the husband’s ex students came over too yesterday. One of them even brought these for us. How sweet. 🥹

Although we received less than 10 groups of guests this time, I’m grateful that this Raya has been sweet because I get to meet all those that I’ve missed. ❤️ 

29 Syawal

 

Yay so done with Raya visiting! Alhamdulillah. Managed to cover the ‘compulsory’ ones with the last house today. We would have done the visiting on 2nd Syawal but the family was hit by C+.

Ooooh look at those pretty rolls ❤️

And bibik cooked a storm for us.

Guess which one I chose? Of course rice and that ikan goreng with sambal belacan.

Ended Syawal with this view. But tomorrow we’re still expecting some guests!

A fulfilling Friday

 

After sending the son to school, I lugged 2 bags all the way to meet the BFF for our breakfast date. It was too brief but we managed to get the stuff (more like groceries for me) before parting ways. 

Time always flies by so quickly. 

Then after the son ended school, we went Raya with the precious girlfriends and kids.

So happy to receive these! Been wanting to try Drunk Ele but nvr got the chance to and that Chanel, haven’t unwrapped. Almost wanted to get them Chanel lippie but for sure gonna be a hard time choosing the colours so settled PJs for them instead. Feeling so contented to have this circle of close friends, from pri to sec then poly and ex colleagues turned precious girlfriends. 🥰

25 Syawal

 

A sight that has been missing. 

Went out with the neighbours today and we managed to cover 4 houses by 6pm! What an achievement! 

Alot of discussions and ‘arguments’ in planning but Alhamdulillah all went well today despite 2 vomits and alot ALOT of noises with a total of 21 pax. Outnumbered totally by the kids (14 of them!). Thankful for the spread of food served and prepared heartily.

Moved the flowers to the console and I think the guests would have thought that it’s faux. 😬

Happy that we finally received guests today and more to come prolly next last Raya weekend.

70th

 

Alhamdulillah. Mom turned 70 today. 🥹

Husb bought her a Sembonia bag, aluminium laundry poles as requested, flowers and cake.

Pretty much.  Thankful and grateful.

The first time ever that husb bought one that came in a vase. But looks more like pot instead. Marble no less.

Mid Syawal

 

Alhamdulillah. Mid of Syawal and I’m so contented and glad that we finally managed to almost complete our visiting. A total of 11 houses over this weekend. Last long wkend, the husband and son down with fever/ flu. It was the first time that we couldn’t tag with the brothers for our jalan raya.

And hey, check out my new addition. My 5.5 shopee purchase which was delivered the very next day. ❤️
