S w e e t

I received a msg from someone and it made me smile.
Oh means u still remember me and was thinking of me lah eh. But guess he forgotten that I’ve moved.
 On.
He did too.

Such challenging time but let’s chin up with good food!
While the world tries to reset, I try to keep up with pretty yummy savouries.
Not sure when’s going to be the next time to dine at a restaurant, here’s Mango Sticky Rice from Sanook.

Husband came back with this surprise of Soufflé Cheesecake from Polar. 😋

I tried making the Tahu Terbalik and indeed they were crispy.
So simple yet tasty.

And after whipping a storm in the kitchen, I’d treat myself to a corny cone.

When I tried to make Buttermilk Prawns but lacking something.
Will try again.

And the husband’s bought me some cookies which I’ve been wanting to eat since forever.
Alhamdulillah.

The Art of Letting God

I remembered clearly about what an Auntie and an Acquaintance had said to me more than 10 years ago. All still clear in my mind and probably will remember till the end of time.

Auntie said, “Don’t worry. You’re a good person. You’ll find a good person.’

DD typed, “Allah loves you.”

So thankful that sis bought me this book.
Finished reading it in 2 days and I kept browsing back at the chapters.
This book gave me the courage to close the door behind and never to re-open it.
Insha Allah.
And I am proud of myself in keeping my consistency of working on my goal.
But I’m definitely going to reward myself big time if I succeed.

The fam just returned from wedding trip and SIL gotten this pretty monstera big bowl!
Can’t wait to use it to serve guests.

The kid’s plant from his Water Wally excursion blooms a flower today.
He brought tiny leave plant last year and it just grows and grows.
Alhamdulillah. Beautiful nature. Even his 2 platy fish (he brought home 5 from his 2018 Kelong excursion) survived and had so many babies.
Now there’s a good size population of his platy fish.

Mid march

Finally the term’s break here!
And great that we went to Jewel to send the grandparents off for a wedding trip.
Then evening walked over to the park for dinner.
The kid’s gotta scoot all the way too.
Kinda sad that we cannot have much plans for the break cos the virus and a wedding to attend to next weekend. But guess can look forward to the next PH or any other wkends to have more fun!

Alhamdulillah so grateful for today’s rezeki.
Had Saap Saap Thai after so long.

Dinner was Butter Cheese Sotong and...

6pcs of wings and fries set!
Quite pricey though cos these 2 dishes with plain rice and drinks summed up to almost $50!

These for desserts but of course incomparable to Batam’s Pisang Keju.
Had to save the Murtabak for breakfast tmr.

Also can’t wait to try their chocolate cake tmr!

When a man loves you

Okay so I merely told the husband that I wanted Durian.
But it’s really been some time since I last had it.
And today the husband came home with a yellow plastic bag.

Filled with a 2kg durian!
All of $44. But he paid $40 for it.
Frankly I don’t mind a 3 for $10 packs but he always gets the best durian for me!
Alhamdulillah.

So yellow so creamy so yummy!

A total of 25 seeds. So contented.
