Numbers

Gross! I cannot believe myself on how I am able to simply spend a hundred dollars today without going for real shopping. Yikes! We already intended to grab the new sch Tees for our cardio mix lessons. So have put aside 25 bucks for it. So we got the traffic light colored Tees (in red yellow and green) as well as the lanyard. Thanks to the BHG news spreading, we decided to check out the sale after our pathetic lunch of instant noodles in the pantry. Spent nil on lunch! yippee

Brought fifty bucks without any wallet - NETs or Debit to the BHG sale. And so I have a budget of less than fifty to spend, I told myself. Walked ard the audi and grabbed an Adidas deo for him. It's two bucks cheaper than the one I bought him just on last Sunday. Damn! There's shoes, lots and lots of lingerie, perfumes (since my Heaven is already running out) and even foodies. After much hesitation, I joined the snaking queue to pay for the Deo and Levi's $16.90 bodywear. So there I already spent almost $22. Then we saw people holding chocs in their hands. And after the first transaction, we went over to the other end to check out the foodies. Grabbed about another $7.50 of chocs and as well as a $15 FCUK bag for the trip. So there I go, already spent $43.90!!! GROSS!
At a BHG internal sale. Saved on lunch but splurged on shopping. What a way to go!

And the shopping did not really end there. hee! Song2 called to wait for me at Lot 1 bus stop after his briefing. So had dinner with him at Pastamania and then went over to Sasa to see if I cld get anything that could replace my Heaven. The shop manager gave me at least ten samples of the fragrance strips with mostly unknown brand names. Almost giving up on him, my eyes stumbled upon a Kylie Minogue showtime in bright pink. At a whipping half price. Tried the smell and turned out to be the sweetest among all. So decided to get this one instead. Furthermore there's additional three bucks off and so it costs only $37.50. Besides that, the shop manager was sweet enough to add a free bag! Altho I might not use the bag at all, hey it's free you know. hee.

15 March 09 to 25 March 09:
  • Lenovo S10 - $669
  • Geylang trip - $300
  • BHG - $43.90
  • Sasa - $37.50
  • Sch Tees - $25

I declared myself bankruptcy till my next payday.

Yet still need to get bapak presie!! oh no

When the BEEP goes on

Little did we expect that after the Hyatt Hi-tea session, me and partner went beeping from shop to shop. Today she told me that her La Senza PJ pants sensor has not been removed by the sales girl. Urgh! Thanks to that the Security Officer at Kinokuniya checked my bag while a few geeks looked on.

Pull and Bear, however, was sweet enough to let us in without any hassle. Anyways, we both bought things from there. And so we just walked away freely. hee. Next time when the beep goes off, do check your paid stuff if all sensors have been removed.

Feeling like this now.. What a BORE!

I need a good damn break

I have been slogging for 6 days straight for two consecutive weeks. And to think that Fri cardiomix can help to destress my body for the wkend, it kinda did the opposite instead. Felt burnout at the beginning of the wkend for the past two weeks. Been going out for almost fifteen days straight besides werk. Gross! I really hope the trip will be a good getaway!

Yest the fiance got me my lapmate (he chose the pink one for me) and also a tiny mouse. Yipeeee! Had a great time yesterday altho we only went to Funan. And we almost missed the stop cos we took the wrong bus (again). For our late lunch, I had unagi pasta which was super spicy and with loads of onions while he ordered cheesy pizza. Yikes!

And this morning I had a great time waking up at only 10am which I have not done in a very long long time. :D

Went to Geylang today cos mom been nagging at me for so long abt making a trip there. So we got the stuff that she wanted me to buy and spent almost 5 hrs there again. Every Geylang trip with her always lasts for at least five hours. Damn! And it was freaking HOT there.

Now that I'd be having no Monday blues this week, hopefully it will be a great week.

Food Glorious Food

Grand Hyatt Scotts Lounge served superbly sweet stuff and these were what we ate yesterday. Yet I wasn't able to try the Bread and Butter Pudding, the whole choc fondue, the blueberry crumble, the ten different types of tea and the ice chocolate. Big boss even shoved the piece of beef at my face cos he jolly well knew that I cant have it...Thanks! When can we hold such an event again, Boss??? DrrooooooLs...

We stumbled upon a huge stroberi..That's my plate of scone.

The 2nd tray of opera...yummylicious I tell u!

The bowl of stoberis!! Refreshing!

Stroberi cheesekek

The balance three smoked salmon..Protein-filled!

Prawn dip....

Turkey ham

The choc fondue...ate one of the cookies only

blueberry crumble...hey i didnt try this one too..

sweet sweet walnut brownies
creamy raspberry

my plate of hot crepe in orange sos

The Saturday started way early for me cos I nid to go for pri sch bes fren's wedding over at Bedok Reservoir... I took a cab and fetched Ifa and we swiftly reached the event at 11.30am..Craps! too early...So I had hot fudge while she settled for one large fries and oreo flurry. We even managed to create a poem for Lin right there and then!

Close to 12 we made our way across and had lin's briani...One of her sis said she be coming down at 1230 so we dun mind waiting. But at 1245 she has not reached yet, me n ifa walked our way (almost lost in that so unfamiliar hood) to her blk.. upon reaching, we do not even know the unit number...so comical...thankfully her neighbor told us and we passed the presie to her hubby. We waited for her to come down and shook her hand with congrats! Took a Merc cab down to Hyatt for the event and continued with the food marathon.

And my Sat did not end just there. Partner and I went shopping and I got myself a jacket for the Japan trip! Weee...We also bot sumting kinky for our bride-to-be fren/cousin! Only reached home at almost 10...

Sent sis to werk this morning and for the first time ever, I honked loudly at a yellow cab cos he braked at green traffic light and suddenly took the left turn...BODOH! And now I gained back the confidence of my wira horn as normally it sounded slightly softer than my farts..This time ard, the honk was loud till a group of people waiting at the traffic lights looked at the cab and me...Well, at least the cab driver waved apologetically at me...

For the first time

Oh My GOD! haha..i didnt know connecting to the internet is this simple. i'm finally able to use my lappie with my sis' modem....ssssshhhhh....If she were to know this, she will definitely hog my pink lappie...booooo!

Yesterday, for the first time thru out our super long frenship, we had a bday bash at one of the BFF's home. Coooool! And the spread of food served was humongous! BFF bot two Pastamania pizza, 5 sets of garlic bread, 3 double cheeseburger and 3 Mac Chicken while the other BFF's mom fried for us chicken, nuggets, hashbrown and BFF prepared cocktail!!! What a SPREAD!!!! We definitely did not finish up the food and BFF packed some for each of us. Gross! Mcm pegi rewang lak ye! hehe.

Dyan was there too of course and she was abt to slp when we barged in. So she decided to stay wide awake...She was shaking2 her body, frowning, giggling (like us) and speaking in her own language....BFF opened her card in front of us and was glad that she was surprised by the 26 cents in that lil bag..She even requested to turn off the lights just so that she could show off to us her special lighting presie given by her bf..haha

Thanks for the BIG treat and BIG laugh last nite! Let's do it again once Dyan grows a lil bit bigger!!! Weeeeee! Here's the pics!

The belated Bday babes! :D With their lighted Royal Choc Cake from Polar.

Aaaahhh phewwww!!! The BIG blow! Not before grumbling that they've blown candles for the Bday alr now must blow again.

Then there's four of US! how can she frown while slping?! I wonder....

Told ya she giggled quite a bit that nite....

Life and Death Situation

"Mar-yam, I need your help urgently!" came the Prof.
"Huh?! Is it a Life and Death situation?" I whined.
"It's After Death situation!" he exclaimed.
Lesson learnt: Never ever joke with a Professor. (^.^')

Eventful....Really

How am I so thankful and relieved now's that the three dialogue sessions are over and even the Open House too! PHEW! It has been pretty hectic and I was so exhausted by the time the week ended. On last Thur, partner and I decided to go for the Exam Dinner cos I've nvr attended one and the effort that the club put in inviting us with the card, I think we shd not give it a miss at all.

I would say it's pretty cool what with the free goodie bag as usual, food and now they even set up games right at our B1 link! I'm sure the students who came totally forgot abt their upcoming exams. We (YES WE! That's inclusive of boss) played the Rock Band. Ha Ha Ha! I took the drums immediately while the other two put on their guitars. hehe! We definitely have some coordination problems with the score accumulated. But it's total FUN! I doubt we would ever play 'musical instruments' as a band. So there we go! Too bad we did not try our tired hands (from the beating and strumming) on the Wii. Otherwise, partner and I would have stayed much much longer.

When Friday came to an end, we had almost finished preparations for the Open House. And I was looking forward to Cardio Mix. I have no idea what Emilia gonna teach this time. We already bumped her at the counter and she asked me about my other frens. The story is I've been religiously following her lessons be it kickboxing (umpteen times) or step aerobics. And I've been bringing different sets of frens everytime. So this was the first time for cardio mix and at a different dance studio in Pioneer.

The class was quite small with only about 12 participants but I did not find the room spacious at all. That's probably becos of the L shape instead of the normal rectangle room. She started the class with aerobics and the steps were all so similar to her step aerobics. Then she moved on to kickboxing. YES! My all time fave! After which she threw in some ABT - abs buns thighs movements. It was a total shock for my fats indefinitely! All in one lesson?! No wonder cardio mix costs more than others. We closed the lesson with the usual stomach exercise.

By the time I reached mrt, I could barely feel my legs already. But the worst has yet to come. The Sat I was werking the whole day with so much walking around for the lab tour. Of course, after that on Sunday felt much better. This time around the Open House was somewhat different for me cos I was not at the booth so I could not really see the crowd coming. And it's merry this time cos of the students. No matter how quiet or introverts they are, we werk as one. One fun SCBE family. :D

The dri fit tshirt doesnt help with the sunny day at all. I just felt sour at the end of the day. BFF called to meet up at JP. How can I resist? So I sprayed my RL romance all over and caught the bloody crowded 179. On a Sat?! Sheesh! BFF treated me to Fig n Olive with no valid cause. Most probably cos of her success in clinching her new job. Pretty excited for her!

On Sunday was supposed to go IT show with someone but ended up going with the cranky fiance. He just got back from his nite shift and yet insisted in coming. So we went over and to our awe, pushed gyrated banged everyone to make our way through, we went to catch Race to Witch Mt instead. duh! Then we headed to Funan to buy some stuff. That was the only day that I've walked outside of Suntec instead of in the comfortable aircon walkways. Thanks to the super chaotic situation. It's not much different to a human being throwing some bread to koi fish whereby the fishes crowded and grabbed their share. Gross! Nvr ever gonna visit such Sale again. MNG also not this bad sia. geez!

And that Sunday was the day that I splurged my $$. Yes SPLURGE! I have nvr ever bot anything so expensive at one go. The most shopping wound I get wld only be ard less than $250. But this time, I spent 669 at one transaction. I've got myself the following pinkie after much consideration, thot and wait.

After the payment, suddenly I felt bimbotic. I could've gotten myself a black or white one that 20 bucks lesser and with freebies such as the sleeve case, earphones and mouse. Yet I've settled for this PINK one instead. And proudly, this is my first ever laptop and yet it's only a netbook. Geez! I've always thot I may not need one since I have the gd ol desktop at home to rely on. Upon unwrapping the box, dad just stared at me the whole time. I told him since no one wanted to sponsor I got one for myself. He's speechless and only managed to ask how much I've spent on this. hee.

The 5 Days Japan trip has been confirmed as of yesterday. I can't wait for that! Absolutely! To go visit Disneyland has always been my dream. Of course got the sis to thank profusely since she's sponsoring the whole package for me. And this time around for the first time ever, I am gonna travel with partner. 5days in the same room?! Oh oh.

Unbelievable

I cannot believe that the guy seated next to me in bus digs his nose selflessly until he reached his destination. SUPER GROSS!
And I swear that I'm gonna stare at him the next time (hopefully no next time)!

I cannot believe that some people actually have no shame and intrude into other's event like they are a part of it...What happened to human's integrity?!

And SSC smsed me to inform about the commencement of the CARDIOMIX tmr! That's so sudden! But we are looking forward to it. Very much.

It's only MIDWEEK

I came to realise what the job advertisers mean by indicating being able to multi-task. I used to think that they actually meant for the candidates to be able to use the different functions of the Microsoft Office. But having werk here for close to 4 years, being able to multi-task means a lot. And I mean A WHOLE DAMN LOT. For example, we have to set up poster boards and transport the larger than life bags to the event place, collect posters and travel all over the campus, find food caterer, keep a lookout for non-invited food stealers, at times (and many times indeed) a cab caller, receptionist, telephone operator, chase after the Profs, send many uncounted reminders, register for students and others that I cannot think of right now. But heck I am enjoying every minute of it altho sometimes it pissed the hell out of me when one or two doesnt seem want to cooperate. I guess multi task doesnt only apply to work but me myself being a girl and what more a fiancee.

Anyways, it's only midweek but I already missed the lunch kakis and felt that the week is already long enough. On Monday, met him after work since he chickened out on Sunday to visit Baby Dy. And we had dinner at pastamania Lot 1 whereby I had only Aglio Olio - a vegetarian meal for the 1st time there. It costs only 4.90 by the way! That was already filling.

Somehow, he got more than usual off days this week and so I took a half day off yesterday. Booked Watchmen tics at Vivo and spent almost half the day with him. That was probably the first time after so long that we spent time idling at Vivo as the movie started only at 4.10pm. But not before I went to Mango to grab pants! Once entered the quiet shop since it's a wkday, I grabbed a few black full and 3/4 pants. Until I set my eyes upon a casual pants. So I put back the rest of the pants especially the long ones and just tried on the casual black pants and a 3/4. How glad I am that the casual pants fit me snugly!! Finally I found a pants to replace my fave black jeans. :D Instead of just buying one, I bot two at once. A black one and a color of my steel cabinet at work. Yeah! Now I have something to put on for Saturday. Had lunch at Ramen Ten and he bought me my fave gourmet popcorn (cheater sold me at $5.50 when in campus could buy them at 3 for $10) in choc flavour.

Watchmen was not something that I expected although I thought that the movie would be just about hero acts. And the characters were somewhat distracting especially Dr Manhattan. That was the only movie that I saw a blue *%ck for so many times in less than 2.5 hours. And fiance even mentioned that it was a circumsized one. Well, guys know better. I have no say in this. Eeew! Yikes! Urgh! GROSS. And the grinding of the fat man's hands don't look real at all. Yeah, partner already warned me of the lovemaking scenes (the girl who wanna f two guys), the gory scenes and the F words. And it was quite long for a movie that my back needed to be kept straight thanks to GV seats. Now I still prefer Cathay seats which are probably the spacious among all. After Benjamin Button and Watchmen, I think my next movie will definitely not be so soon.

And YES! One of the dialogue sessions is done today! Two more to go. And tomorrow includes the Welfare Dinner as well. Then comes Sat whereby we be having our Open House. Craps! This time it'd be at Audi and quite a distance from our school. Hence, it's going to be tough going to and fro to grab things. Well, at least there's change this time.

Not sure if I would make the trip down to Suntec this Sunday. I hope to get something from there. Really hoping.

My Sunday

Hickory Dickory Dock,
The mouse ran up the clock,
But the rats in my void deck run so free,
As free as the other stray cats can be.

GROSS

The curious case of Benjamin Button was sure one of the longest movie I ever watched. However, while watching the movie, I did not feel that it was quite long as the story was all about his diary. From the day he was born and till the day he past as a cute wrinkle free baby. And so following the norm, as long as he has yet to turn into a baby, the story yet to end. I did not expect how the ending could be but it kinda touched my heart cos in the end he died in the arms of his true love. And this movie marked the uncommon movie date with the groupies as it's rare for us to put aside time for movies unless those hunts for bday presies or shopping. hee.

And psssst I was wearing my unable to zip up jeans all along but was not skimpy cos I got my long top to thank for.

Movie started ard 5.50pm and ended right on 8.45pm. My tummy was about to growl despite the sweet popcorn and hotdog. And we settled for Secret Recipe for our dinner. Dinner was done by almost 10pm and I was contemplating to take the bus 190 since it may not stop for me cos the bus will be filled with crowds from Central and before. But I still go ahead thinking that it wld drop me off at my home bus stop so there wont be a need for me to walk since it's gonna be 11 by the time I reach home. Thankfully, the bus was not that filled up yet and fortunately too at Orchard Mrt Station stop, I got myself a seat. :D

It's a pretty sunny sunday and I was awaken by fiance's chirpy voice despite his nite shift. Right at 8.17am when I had a hard time falling aslp and could only do so by 2am. After I have successfully and finally woke dad up from his nightmare. If bro comes home later like after 11pm, dad tends to scream in his sleep. But most of the times, mom (altho she heard his screams) wld simply ignore and me too afraid to go out and checked on him. So last night was the 1st time that I shook him up. BFF smsed too to say that she could not make it for today's event due to her werk as early as fiance's call. urgh!

Drove sis to JP for her sunday duty and mom to the Blk 500+ market. It's only 10+am and the car park opp the market was already damn packed. Shit! So told mom to get her dried chilli quick while I waited in the car for her. Not long after she left, a Honda drove off and I got myself a lot! Yeah! So rushed off to the shops to find mom. And following my instincts, the places that sell dried stuff, I found mom there. While mom queueing up for my chicken rice behind a tall mat, I asked mom for $$ to get myself a drink. "Pergi main jauh2!" as she passed me 2 bucks and I bot water chestnut drink. Finished it up in less than 10 mins and when the mat turned with his tray of Sinar Harapan foodies, quite shocked to see that it was jerk's fren. I have not been trying to check out his face but just glanced quickly at his bums (at my eye level since I was sitting down) and only tot to myself what a tall mat. The one who's in my frenster too. So here comes the 'the-friend-in-your-friend-list-in-friendster-but-realitiscally-not-your-friend' situation. Lucky for me tis time it was a quickie. I have a polymate in there but once I was queueing up for atm and he's rite in frnt of me, I went blank not sure to acknowledge or say hi.

Helped mom with the fish fins and ate my chicken rice. Then did the card for BFF. In less than 10mins the card's up and ready. So simple ma. Just paste paste, cut cut and tie ribbon.

It looked kinda raw but hopefully she will like it. Used the black lace to represent her kinkyness and the sticker bag below since she loves bags so much. Had inserted 26 cents (HAHA) in the bag as well. I didnt even know that the bag can be opened.

Cannot wait to take my bath in a while cos I'm so sweaty and smelled fishy after the whole morning. Hoping that I could go to Vivo afterwards to but new jeans/ pants to replace the fave black jeans.

Unbelievable

It was a Fri morning and I was so lazy to start werk. Then cousin bro msned me if I wanted to see something. Wout much hesitation of course I asked what it was. And so he sent me this photo.

It was rather obvious which one is me. Those were the days that I nvr smile in front of the camera and looked stoned. All I remembered was mak tends to buy us (me and sis) the same type of baju but in different colors. As you can see from the orbit picture, mine was pink while sis green. She somehow remembered this dress but I cant retrieve the memory. Should check out my necks with all the lines thanks to mak. And I wondered who's the one saboed me to be the only one in that obiang hat. Gross! Cousin bro said this was taken on his bday.

I was indeed a dark child. Not that 'dark' but my skin tone. Like mak always always says, I am 100% like my pak. Except the neck of course! Geez.

Finally for the record, bro has lost his voice due to sore throat. Hate it everytime he grumbles but it was his normal talking tone. I think out of the three of us, he's the most tidy since he arranged every single item in his room in lines. From his past Bus Passes (yeah that long u imagined) to his specs and stationeries. But the items that stood out in his room would be the following.

This would be unexplainable. I have no idea what Big Bird and Mr Wolly's fren is doing in his room. Gross. From what I know, he only played with his toy cars before his sleep eons years ago.

Haaaaaaaa. I still dono what to wear later. And it's already drizzling. Such a nice weather to zzzzzzzzzzz!

My Name Is

Mar-Yam. Although my name is so oldskool, I nvr fail to hear different versions of it. Some are Mary-yam, Mariam, Yam, Yam2 and the latest Mar-Yam. Cos my Prof begged to differ that it's not supposed to go by Mari-Yam but Mar-Yam wout the Ri. Well wateva u kol me, most likely I will respond.

Well, it's only the 1st week of March but boy, it sure was hell hectic already! For the record, I only took my tpt ride home once on Thurs this week. Sheesh! On Mon right after werk, sis and I rushed to Mosque st to book the unlikely to happen Japan trip. Ya the guy mentioned 50/50 but more like 70/30 of not happening. Cos it's supposed to be a Muslim tour (with a visit to the mosque there, ironically), I just couldn't imagine any other Muslims who would be interested in touring the Land of the Rising Sun in Apr. Nevertheless, we have booked it (not to worry cos sis is sponsoring me the entire package) and will be planning for a back up tour. Otherwise, I could only look forward to perhaps our Langkawi and BKK trip.

On Tue I was sure getting myself ready waiting for my tpt religiously. However, somehow the tpt seems to be coming later than usual and I received a call from BFF. Thot she just wana inform me of her bday wishlist but instead wanted to drag me out for a hangout. And she has not even decided where to meet since she's at Pasir Ris at that time and me on the other side of the island, Boon Lay. How perfect! And finally we decided to meet at Bugis. Man, the first ever ride from Pioneer mrt all the way to Bugis really a pain in the ass. hee! quite a long journey I must say! gross. Did a bit of jln2 and had dinner at Fish n Co. Gosh! It's been sometime since I last dine there as I had just recovered from my damn rashes. It was a pretty bad attack this time hitting the most unimaginable places and I must've been scratching myself pretty well every nite. Had seafood platter for TWO cos I failed to argue with her to settle for seafood platter for ONE. But she finished up the mussels in a breeze.

Wed was the day to meet the fiance since it was his off day. Hurried over to Jurong West to grab my lenses from my fave auntie. Happy that I was advised to get the normal lenses wout astig cos I be saving more $$$..hee! So i confidently say to auntie, "See u in 6mths time!" Since I grabbed my 6 mths of supply. Sadly she informed me that they will be going into retirement within that period. Haizzzzzzz. It's saddening as I've been faithfully buying my lenses from her since my first time and nvr ever bought at any other places. I've been wearing lenses since I was 17 and that would be a total of 9 solid years...Sobs. She took down my number to inform me of any upcoming clearance sale.... :(

On thur since I have nothing planned and thot of just keeping the day free to rest, took bumpy tpt home. Instead of bumming in the house, I sent mom to BP mosque swiftly, drove partially in the bus lane and then realised that it's wrong and got the wira parked at our lot again. Dragged sis to Pasar Mlm and bot junkies home.

Today a day that I wld've known will pass by speedily. Waiting anxiously for the hot date with the prof for the JC visit at 1pm and had superb early lunch at 11am. Ate the half-filled with rice tupperware packed with so much love and rice by mak and was too full to think or do anything aft that. The drive (my first one with a prof) took longer than I expected thru PIE and was lost at a dead end for the intended shortcut route. hee! thankfully, it's over now and I was already lookin forward to my facial with Jamu Wellness. My last facial was more than 4 yrs ago that all I remembered was my face turned red the next day due to the steamer. So this time, I clearly mentioned to the therapist to avoid any heat if possible. Surprisingly even the bed now has a heater thingy. That kept my body warm thruout the treatment. After a good relaxing slightly more than an hour on the bed, I opened my eyes blurly. Took the winding 172 home. Checked my face for any unusual spots thankfully found none. But I could still see my white heads ever so clear. eeeee! Guess will bring mom there for her bday treatment.

Finally this weekend will be packed! Will be catching Benjamin Button tmr (I know so last mth) with the groupie at PS and still havent decide wat to wear...Sad to mention that my fave black skinny jeans bought from Batam during 2008 CNY is spoilt and it's time for me to move on to other jeans/ pants. Still couldn't find any other fave.

Funny when we're in the midst of doing werk, we tend to want to munch something that's not at ur table. Since I wanted to cut down on chocs (even if it's choc biscuits), I filled up my JUNK with Gummy burgers. But now seeing that the bottle's been filled up to the rim, I do not feel like eating them at all.

And a little contribution will do a GREATER damage to my tummy. Ordered Choc cream and Mint choc biscuits cos of the beautiful tins. Hopefully, the siblings will assist in sharing the fats.

And hey hey hey! Call me slow but I managed to finally put up the chat box. Yeah! But of cos will do a bit here and there more real soon.

the Origin and So Much More

Managed to find the tic in which insipired me to use the word Bunianese till this very day. It was mentioned in the play Main2 all the way back to the year 2002. Gosh that's like 7 years ago and I was proudly still a student! The meaning of Bunianese (googled) :- Orang Bunian are supernatural beings in Malay legends, similar to elves.
They are said to exist in large communities, mimicking human social structures, with families and clans.

Boyan = Boyanese
Jave = Javanese
Bunian = Bunianese

And hey March is here! There's so much to do this month. Like the open house, the alumni gathering, the planning of the much awaited trips, etc! And also the cukur rambut and the best fren's wedding. It's this bad that I need to choose and decide if I could make it to all of the events scheduled. For example, the alumni gathering clashed with my fren's wedding. I still yet to decide. Nevertheless, looking forward to all the events and alot of catching up and socialising will be done!
We were supposed to start our Cardio Mix but due to insufficient participants the class could not start. It's not a wasted trip tho cos we got to wash eyes at Gombak United players. And so we walked from Jurong West stadium all the way to JP. Checked out the treatments avail at Jamu Wellness and booked ourselves a facial appt! Can't wait for that! Hoepfully my skin will not react drastically to the facial. :)

Yesterday, watched Marley and Me at cathay with him. It was a romantic and sappy movie that I was quite surprised that he would want to watch it. Since he only loves thrillers and sci-fis so asking me out for Marley and Me kept me mum for a while. Altho most critics mentioned that it's all about the dog, I'm sure many will not deny that the human factors shown are lessons in life to be learnt. Especially for newly weds. Yah la it's all about planning in life and what you wish to do but sometimes the plan doesn't work and it turned out to be much better than what you would have expect. He said the movie was not bad till it made him cry (HUH?!). Seriusly?? Thankfully I did not witness it thanks to the dark grand cathay. Otherwise, it'd be such an awful sight. hee!

And yup! Yesterday had lunch at the Halal Pastamania like finally.

Poor Merlion got struck by lightning last evening. Even the Merlion was not spared from the natural hazard. Only a few days ago our island was beautified by double rainbows and now the Merlion got hit. I don't know if good or bad luck's coming our way.

It's funny how when a nice guy came your way and asked you to be the one but you just had to simply reject him cos you could not find it in your heart to like him what more love.

Then there's the one you yearn to hold and be with but then you just know it that you can never be together. Be it because of the history you have with him or you just cannot see the two of you sharing the future.
And so you settled for the one whom you are not quite sure if he will make you happy and provide for the best but in your heart you know damn well that he's just The One. Of course I would want to believe that Fate is behind the decisions made and to be made.

But now's not the time to ponder over such things. :D And so yesterday grabbed my fave caramel corns at Daiso and this simple foodies just cheer me up instantly! Yummies!

Thunderstorm's here again! The best thing to do now is snuggle up under my floral blanket while gearing up for another week of work!
