Deliveries exhaustion

Aha. Is there such a term? I mean since the MCM delivery from HK, particularly if it relates to the husband, there seems to always have hiccups somehow. And the worst part is I can’t share with him. That plus the anxiety of whether I could be home to receive the deliveries.

Now that we're on this deliveries topic, gonna update the experiences I had especially during the CB period and up till now. Gonna be a bit lengthy but shall keep it brief.

- So I had these 2 guys (for the first time ever!) appearing at the door to deliver a box of premium roses. Probably cos the condition was to hold the box laying position hence might need the assistance to hold the lift and such.

- The usual delivery guy from the online store would send me a photo of the parcel he placed in my riser.

- A pakcik came to deliver 99 roses said he came earlier on but no one was in.

- Received a call and said no one home cos he's at my door but apparently NOT at my door.

-Placed the parcel on the shoe rack and once, even under the kid's Crocs.

- 'Throw' the parcel between the door and gate.

- Claimed that delivery was successful and even asked us to check riser when mom's place has no closed riser. Eventually informed us that the color we ordered had no stocks and new delivery was done. No reason provided for the 'previous delivery.'

- Wrong shipping address (was sent to billing address instead), no apology given but I had to do the chasing like mad.

- Item delivered wrongly to neighbour and thankfully (my never seen before) neighbour came over personally to pass the parcel.

- Delivered us extra food and told us to keep (it was his mom's business).

- Parcel left at the gate without ringing our bell.

- Some gave salam aloud and also softly.

- Peered into living room to see our tank and also commented on our plants.

- Received msg for my $600 delivery from HK but it didn't turn up, Had to email the brand and called up the courier.

- Claimed the parcel was placed in riser when in fact we were home at the time delivery was made and of course nothing was found in the riser.

But of course majority of deliveries have no problems and been rather smooth.
Like I ordered on Saturday and no info given but Monday it came!

Moving on to other things:

Teacher's day gifts settled!
Bought bags on offer and with free wraps!

New dress alert! Need to do more zumba before putting this one on.

The husband's Teacher's Day gift came after 1 week!

Such pretty packaging.

But I can't wait to gobble the cookies instead!

Checked!

A total of 5 gifts for the girls and 12 for the boys.

Alhamdulillah! It’s a month away but we managed to settle the gifts for the kids. Hopefully they’d be happy to receive the new toys. And just learnt (although I realised for a long time) that there could be huge price difference for the same toys at different stores. Like I got the alien toy for $9.90 but another selling for $16! And then the ones we got for the girls were going for $10 for 2 but the other store selling the same items for $15 for 2. Eh eh. Such price differences. Anyways the ladies at the Cashier happily smiling away cos we almost cleared the stocks for the vehicles. And she guessed right that we giving away for a birthday. The items we bought each costs less than $10 whereas a standard goodie bag would easily costs $10 filled with cheap toys, pencils and snacks.

Giddy with Excitement

Thankful that today has been so fulfilling because:
- I topped up my Ezlink
- Saved cash into my account (for more online shopping!)
- Bro helped me changed my Gucci’s battery
- Managed to buy the girls gifts for the kid’s birthday
- Had my fave fruit tart from Delifrance and even Burnt Basque Cheesecake from CBTL.

This is my 2nd time trying a Basque Burnt Cheesecake but it seriously tastes like normal cheesecake. If you’d ask me, I’d prefer the supermarket’s cheap fluffy cheesecake anytime!
Cos it’s less dense and it’s light.
However, ALHAMDULILLAH for the rezeki and I’m all excited for September’s plans. Probably one of the busiest months of the year! And for now let’s await some of the deliveries next week! ❤️

Happy Birthday Husband!

This birthday marks a decade of birthday celebrations with the Mister. Hope he enjoyed his day despite having to work. Since there’s no staycations planned, decided to bring a piece of our fave hotel. Here goes!

Conrad always always has provided best services. The order was a breeze. They forgotten to include the anniversary bear but it reached us within the hour! And they even catered to my ‘special’ delivery timing. Alhamdulillah! Can’t wait to be able to stay there hopefully year end! 🥰

His pre-birthday celebration

Such a spread today! Alhamdulillah! Probably the only time we ordered both lunch and dinner. And such a unique way of celebrating the Nation’s bday. With a glimpse of the formation passing by.

Lunch was from Sultan Turkish Restaurant. Satay from EZbbq! Cake from Hasbakes!

After all the food binge, just need to take a walk so decided to drag sis to the mall. Glad I listened to the husband and didn’t buy this Marimekko then cos now I got it at a steal! $10 off!

Presents for the husband

Probably the most kecoh delivery experience ever!
 Gosh!
Sis ordered the Osim present for the husband and the address got mixed up. It was so complicated till I had to fetch the kid early to ensure I’m home when the delivery is done. But Alhamdulillah.
It’s all settled and the husband reluctantly happy to receive them. There’s more Insha Allah. Let’s wait! Again.

How funny it is for both presents to come with free gifts! The tote bag and folder. ❤️

10 Zulhijjah 1441H - Aidiladha

Alhamdulillah so today we could go visiting and the kid got to meet all of his Obeks.
My side and the husband's.

BIL's Smokey sending us off at the service yard. So cute he wanted to play with the kid.

Received Raya goodies from the SILs.

Simply cooked Ayam Kurma and Sambal Udang as well as the Nasi Impit.
Cos Mom earlier gave her Serunding.

Can't believe that Blogger has changed format and I'm not used to using this in handphone so gotta blog from the husband's lappie instead.
Better pray that they won't close down else gonna lose all these years of memories. 😂
