A week’s break

 I left the school’s short holiday plannings to the boys and they’ve decided on these. As the husband unable to take a few days leave, he took a day off instead. The son really tekan him and spent the whole day outside. 😂

They’ve decided to go Fort Siloso so I told them we have to start early. Else the sun would be scorching. 

We’re done with Fort close to lunch time and went over to Vivo to grab my Raya bag. 

Eh!

Entahla kenapa dan mengapa. Haha. But ❤️.

I didn’t remember the view from Fort was this beautiful. ❤️

New initiatives seen cos used to have trams on the slopes but not feasible now especially with the new skywalk.

And then they wanted to take the cable cars pulak. Very impromptu seh. We cannot be taking the cable cars just after lunch cos it’d be panas! So we took around late noon instead. And not only the main line but with the sentosa line as well. Could have properly planned kan if they’ve decided earlier on. Cos we cld have taken the cable cars directly to FS terus.

Penat ye. Da tak kena gaya duduk dalam cable cars tu. 

Cos it was unlimited rides. So we took rounds and rounds sempat makan Coconut Ice cream segala.

So we spent almost the whole day at Sentosa.

Today they told me of their plans so I tried to arrange so that we could reach home earliest. Tapi tetap whole day juga. Main plan was Butterflies Up-Close but had to pay for main entrance sekali. And at main Science Centre je da endless exhibition. But glad we managed to catch the Robot show and the Fire tornado.

Done at Sci Ctr almost 2-ish.

 Went over to GBTB to meet Optimus Prime pulak.

We alighted at GBTB new station. So had to walk quite a distance.

Had early dinner at MBS then decided to drop by Takashimaya. Reached home almost 8! 

Penat tak terhingga. Just hope the son had a great time although he did alot of his revisions too. 😬

It was rather an emotional excursion. Now that the boy’s interested in military, somehow FS came to mind and he’s excited to visit. My 1st ever job over on the island and being part of the team to set up Quartermaster, the gift shop there. It’s an indescribable experience with the amazing colleagues (yes! Still very much in touch with them) and having the chance to chat with tourists from all over the world. Still remembered that there’s this grp of army guys from Brunei. Maha cuci mata. 

So much has changed, in a positive way I guess. Now they have this skywalk where you could enjoy the view of the beach as well as of pasir panjang. Then you’ll reach the tunnels. Went in but decided not to continue especially the POW parts. No thanks eh. Such heavy atmosphere in there. I survived 2 years before going over to NTU.

Contemplated to get this because with the price I could get myself new baju raya. So I think and think and think then abg postman yang tak pernah dtg delivered a box. Told the husb then he asked me to open. Of cos I didn’t.

He ordered this without telling me eh. 

This one another super long story. Went to Tampines cos website showed in stock. Reached cannot find eh. But we saw someone la even took the display which was hung on the wall. So we went home sad. Haha.

On the brighter side, we got to eat meatballs and wings. Tak pernah2 tak order nasi. Oh of course must include the cake. And how did we end up getting those $1.90 marimekko bags yang siap with pink zips?? The next day we went to Jurong outlet as early as their opening time. Berlambak eh over there. So we took 5 each. Haha.

Woah that feeling of satisfaction. Haiz Nafsu ye. 

One too many

 

Yesterday husb received an unexpected news just upon reaching home. I rarely post about such stuff but this time, it kinda hit me differently. A dear uncle has passed on. Someone who has so much involvement in our relationship. From masuk minang to being the saksi of our nikah. 🥹 The one who would always comes to our place for raya. So surreal when you’ll never know if you’ll get to meet Ramadhan. Pretty sure he’s united with his son now and seeing everything clearly.

Sis-in-law passed me this pretty ring today for my 40th.  

So grateful and blessed. ❤️
