First Raya weekend’s over and this was my eidfit!

Probably the most ex bag I’d ever own. 

Decided to wear black cos we nvr had black (so many colours so why black kan?). Alhamdulillah that the first day was solemnly beautiful. 

Then second day was covering most of mom’s side.

Total of 10 houses eh. Plus ours la. Not so bad though cos we started ard 10am and ended before 10pm. My heart cannot take it when one of the Obeks said that my Obek dah jalan dulu. 😭

Raya Ready

 

Finally Raya Ready home. Walaupun this tidiness will lasts for 5 mins or so. Cooked only Ayam Kurma and Sambal Udang but macam nak patah pinggang because Nasi Impit took 2 hrs, Ayam was 2kg and I fried them first as the husband prefers that way and had to siang the 2kg prawns. I think next Syawal must change menu already.

30 Ramadhan

 

Masha Allah. How blessed I am to have mom’s tarts and makmur and rempenyek. Probably more than enough for me to serve guests. But look at these! 🥺

My talented jirans gave me tarts and honey cornflakes.

Getting there but not yet! Cleared the living room and dining table. Filled up the canisters and…. Still 101 things to do tmr! Tho just wanna cook Ayam Kurma and Sambal Udang and rebus the nasi impit. That’s for the kitchen. Fridge not cleared, sink still needs to sental. And hopefully could clear all the stuff to be distributed too.

Can’t feel it

Such a long Monday that I can’t feel the time at all.

And the husb brought home so many gifts today!

A vacuum robot, a cutter and this pretty Raya gift.

I kinda stole 2 milk chocs already. 😬

Yay. Carpet’s here! Bonus treat from sis from Loom and Stone. Kinda dark when it’s supposed to be more mocha. Hoping the house cld be this way more often but Naaah. Gotten rid of the faux monstera cos it’s just another dust collector. Big cushions are here too but the covers coming in later probably by next week only. More excited about doing the house up rather than kuih raya. 😬

Dad’s Day

 

So much has happened recently. But today was good.

Didn’t inform the parents that we’re crashing for Buka so we appeared right after the kid’s school. 

With a cake. Dad wasn’t expecting us cos he was told that we’d celebrate on Sat instead.

So much to be thankful and grateful for. 

Alhamdulillah.

And here’s what we had for Buka. 

Shepherd’s pies of chicken mushroom, beef rendang and lamb, with Swensens salad. Yums!
