I can’t anymore. It has been extremely overwhelming and exhausting going through life since bulan puasa then raya. Too much huh?

Needs to take a lot of steps back.

Get un-involve with things.

Well at least for the next 4 days.

Enough of socialising for now. 

I just want to clear the house, clear the mind, clear the heart and clear the head of things that don’t matter anymore. 

Full of love

 And food.

Alhamdulillah. So so blessed. 

Yes we had guests over on a wk night so I served Nasi Lemak. Glad they had their fill. 

But they brought us all these too. Plus 3 curry puffs.

Last Monday was extremely packed.

Dad’s bday. After brief bf, went home to cook for the boys  then headed over to Mom’s. Bought kfc, cake and fruits. Quick lunch then accompanied mom for her appt. Got back to Mom’s, changed and took bus to bff’s. Thus the crocs for beraya. 

Been looking forward to this since the last time we had it. Alhamdulillah. So nice to be spending Raya with the bffs though we don’t do it annually. But glad that bff will make effort to include my house in her visiting. Together with her sis and Ah Mi. ❤️

Raya has been draining yet fulfilling, exhausting yet beaming with much needed catch-up.

And Raya continues this weekend.

Disconnected

 

Lost in mixed signals.

A connection without direction.

I don’t argue. I disappear.

Humbled

 A weekend filled with gatherings.

And I’m so humbled that many sudi come over our place.

We have been rejecting guests as we were always out visiting so we’ve decided to stay home yesterday.

Only 3 groups confirmed that they’ll be coming but we had a total of 6 groups by the end of the day.

Alhamdulillah.

Not only bibik and mamang wanted to come to my place, they even brought us goodies. 🥹

Hari Raya has been overwhelming. But semlm altho penat it was so memorable. Because cousin parked at the wrong mscp. Then bibik came and pointed at her socked feet. Eh kelakar betul laaaaa. And I just gotten rid of my slippers, crocs and left with mary janes. Luckily dia muat.

Such a gd excuse to get new crocs! 🩷

I might not be close to all of my cousins but I’m close to a handful of them. And I pray that our bonds will be stronger as our parents age.
