Week 1 of sch hols almost done and I’m SO tired!

Penat eh tgk anak bored at home.

But he’s disciplined to do his papers given by the dad. 

Started doing my roses at 12.30pm and took me about 2 hours to complete. Good thing was the steps were just repetitive. 

Though it looks pretty, guess can’t compare to fresh flowers. The beauty and the smell. 

Anyways, new deco for Aidil Adha!

Term 2’s OUT!

 

Yay Alhamdulillah! Collected report book with positive feedback from the teachers. 

But gotta gear up for the rest of the year. 

Happy cos no spelling x2 and ejaan for at least the next 4 weeks! And can wake up a little later than usual. 

Such a long day today and it’s only Friyay!

Went out early cos raining and we’re done with the PTC by our actual appt time. Went to Funan to have early lunch at Saap Saap cos we didn’t get to eat when we were at Jewel (da closed ye!). Moved on to orchard so that the boys could Solat Jumaat. We were joined by my bf bestie and son. So we cabut to French American to savour their Nutella swirl and she bought her TPB new bag eh. Tsk. 

We even bought towels at really good deal eh. 4 for $20 and has further 9% discount so that’s just $18.20 for 4 towels! 😳 Went to Nitori then PS for CBTL break before heading home. 

Finally caved in to grab this Lego roses (from the husb) at 10% off cos I member and let’s see if we could maintain them good. Time to get a vase!

Glad I got to meet the bff last Fri. For Jap brunch.

Bonia new packaging giving Gucci feels. 

Enjoyed the last few bfs for Term 2. So chill to have pain au chocolate. And people watch early in the morning.

Need to have more such times. 

Today was a little chaos as this mess.

There’s like my homemade popiah, belinjao from Geylang, some souvenirs, my new mixue bottle and his new Garfield from 7-11.

To send the cousin off to the airport.

And finally bought him a new shoes. 

Wow size 7 ye.

 After all those Syawal things, we went for a jemputan yesterday. Great to see most of the old neighbours and the childhood friends’ parents. 

Time to get new dresses? Make that ✌️please. 

Ni betul nye wardrobe malfunction cos the thread got stuck on the van’s door and pulled all the way ye. 

Sis bought Crombolinis and I really find them overrated.

Give me olskool patries anytime. 

Can’t believe that there’s 3 days of school left and then we’re done with Term 2. Means 3 days of me time left. 😒

Mom’s bday

Celebrated mom’s bday today. She cooked briyani with ayam merah and daging rendang. For dinner, sis treat dinner using her cdc voucher. 😆

His nenek’s card assisted by me. 

And husb ordered her cake from Cake Spade!

Last Syawal weekend

 

It’s the last Syawal weekend. Had to go to 2 houses today.

So happy that I managed to end Syawal with the best friends. Had so much food and even given lotsa goodies home. ❤️

Last Friday, my ex bus mate came over. Cooked raisin rice, ayam merah and paru for her. She brought fresh flowers! 

So pretty pls! ❤️

Syawal continues. Last Sunday, we were expecting 4 groups of guests but 5 came! I cooked Nasi Ayam and laksa goreng and glad that it was almost finished. 

Not only that, we managed to even cover 2 houses afterall the guests. Went to the bff’s open house and singgah a cousin’s place. On a Sunday no less. Dah tu the son still dared to say he’s forgotten to do a page hmm 2 pages of his hw. Belom belajar ejaan lagi! Penat ye.

Eh but on Monday there’s no blues cos we went to Vivo. Heh. Enjoy sakan. 

Then came tues and we finally met (once a yr punya gathering ye!) over at Sumang. Look at the spread served!

Alhamdulillah. Meriah sungguh siap dengan air balang pusing2. Regret a little that I didn’t rasa the milk tea cos was saving it for last then tong da penuh. Had so much fun la catching up that it ended so quickly. 😫

When Allah takes away a couple of friends for the better, trust in His plans. I truly appreciate those who stayed through the test of time. The effort one took to meet by taking leave from work, cooked so much and bought gifts too. Alhamdulillah for the still many precious friendships that I have till this day. Understand that not everyone will be happy for you and not everyone will be sincere.

Banyak ye the gifts. And that lacy thingy hahahaha. Teringat zaman nak kahwin dulu. ❤️

Glad to have this little break in the middle of the week and the sis requested for me to cook her Nasi Ayam for her guests. Alhamdulillah for the success cookout despite a little hiccups here and there. Like we couldn’t find the ready to eat bbq chicken from NTUC so we had to make do with black pepper chicken and airfry them ourselves. And forgotten to put fishball in the chap chye so they ended up in the chicken soup instead.

Now, let’s decide on how to invoice her for this. 🤭
