Eve of new year

 We spent the eve of the new year at Gardens by the Bay.

Specifically Floral Fantasy. 

Woah what a walk eh, cos they cordoned the main area so we had to walk a big round to Jurassic Nest for lunch.

So cute though. 

Main reason for the visit cos have Disney showcase.

And how lovely the fragrance of fresh flowers. Greeted us right at the doors.

Probably spent about an hour in there till we forgotten to take the tram. Crowd was also building up so we decided to go over to South.

Went for 9 staycations and we did not travel out at all.

Except across the borders. Alhamdulillah for the rezeki.

Grateful for 2024 though I went through some emotional roller coasters. Probably pre meno hormones raging mad.

Probably the instincts game strong this year too. Not really pleased at how it ended but I guess it is wat it is.

I yam what I yam. 🍠

Lunch date

 A very last minute lunch date with the cousin.

With lotsa beef.

Though brief, it was indeed a great catch-up.

He passed me my much-needed endorphins.

And ehem my complete collection.

Annual General Meeting

 Glad we made it again this year!

Time flies real fast and then it’s already been a year.

So grateful that we came this far cos it’s been 2 decades long. 🥹

And I got that cool mini steamer from ex partner! So funny cos initially I got another name but we had to 

re-pick. I cannot wait to try that microneedle patch.

Annual movie date

Happy that we got to go on our annual movie date since the boy staycay at Mom’s. This was so random. I chose cite hantu but he chose this one. Luckily that hunter’s bod was yums. Eh. And I didn’t fall aslp, so that’s a gd thing?

Even happier that I got more Strawberry Shortcake additions! PJ set and a night tee. Tinggal nak pakai hat and makan stroberi saje. 🍓

Pan Pacific Orchard

 I should do this before my mood to update is really off.

This was our 2nd time at Pan Pac Orchard and we still went ahead despite the steep slope to reach the hotel.

The son really loved the pool that gave beach vibes. 

Right? It’s huge, sheltered and always empty. 

The son swam for 3 days straight and even made friends there eh. Enjoy sakan.

Husb wrote in requesting for Anni cake. They even included macarons. And wanted to give wine as well. Of course la we rejected politely.

Still loves the night view.

Our room has high ceiling making it seemed spacious. 

And I was down with fever throughout but fortunately could still go out for dinner and all. Just felt hot.

 Today was unusually special.

Husb went out to grab prata for bf.

Been so long eh. Then u know what? I napped after prata.

Was feeling rough cos cough was still bad.

Kesian the son, so decided to still go out but late afternoon. Very rare eh because by the time we went back it’s already dark. Haha.

Went to Suntec to grab his inflatable ball cos we gave away his to Jeff. Will story about that next entry cos today no mood to write abt the last staycay of 2024 yet.

After early dinner, we went to MBS to get TWG gummy but they contained beef gelatin so…

Then we walked over to the Magical House of Chanel.

Didn’t expect that there’s activity to be done inside but it was fun and very different experience. Was given an ornament at the end of it and the husb got me this as well.

I’ve gotten the other charm and now it’s the snowflake one. Finally I got my hands on the mirror. 

Yes, we lugged these into Chanel sekali.

I only wanted the $24 upset duck cos irresistibly cute then the husb forced me to take this max duck instead.

Cute lor. What with the ring as well.

Then we rcvd the whole box of that Po cat and bought Molang xmas tree set at $9.90.

Proud though that we took public home.

And I bought this sweater from Cotton On.

I don’t want to grow up. 😏

Currently nursing a terrible cough. 

Bumped into the poly gf just now who’s also staycaying in town. That’s such a nice surprise meet-up and I’m glad she called me out loud and clear. 

Will be back writing on the last staycay of 2024.

For now, trying to return to sleep in this freezing room.

Sweet weekend

 Filled with yummylicious spread of buffets.

Probably the last wedding for 2024, niece’s lunch reception.

Took almost all of the desserts there and including ice cream too.

Yesterday sent bff’s sis at the airport and bought this collab. Such pretty box. Also her mom made me bring back 6 packets of Milo so I had to bring them along for my shopping. 

Just like shoe box.

And also bought this pretty xmas set for myself and the husb bought me 2 dresses from Alia. ❤️

Last Friday’s wedding dinner all the way in the East. 

Such grand venue and the food woah been such a long time I enjoyed delectable buffet.

Even got waffles with ice cream and toppings eh.

And this badak berendam too. Appreciate the catch-up with the siblings in law as well as cousins.

Finally out today. After him being down almost the whole of last week. Well, actually we were out yesterday for brief lunch, haircut and groceries. Molly’s cute kan? 

Can’t believe I had to queue for Labubu just for the husb.

 It has been a long week indeed.

Son’s been down with fever and the kind of stubborn fever that’s up and down. Main dengan perasaan one.

He can be normal temp in the day then rose up evenings.

Sponging and entah da bape byk panadol and bufren he took. But, Alhamdulillah he’s now alot better. To go to nenek’s house today.

So I took the opportunity to pass cousin his Popmart and you see lah what I received in return.

A micro luggage filled with snacks for the boy eh. Famous Amos lei. But I need to puasa tmr. 

So nenek house means dropped by Popmart. Glad that I listened to the husb and got this. Chosen by the son.

Lucky or what? Secret seh. So that’s how one feel if one doesn’t have any expectations. Was just hoping I wouldn’t get the same glacier and I got my fave care bear of all time. Cheer Bear. 🥹

Last minute gang

 Boy is down since Sunday night but he felt better during the day today. And somehow this happened.

Last minute errands of settling the uniforms and submitted the form. And the not so little birthday celebrations. 

The host bought us Beautea Barbie drinks and Crolo desserts while the other sponsored wings, cheese fries and nuggets. I only brought donuts and…

this tiny bday cake! The only small cake left in the bakery. 

And all of my fave things! So grateful. They got me more than I deserved. These two. So extra! 🥹

Cannot wait to fill this up! Decided to just store Molly in this special storage. That black brief Casper is really haunting me. Tsk!

Hello December

Ended Nov with a last minute staycay with the parents and sis. I mean we just done with Fullerton Bay last wkend and then we’re back at Jen this wkend. 

 

Soaking in the festive mood. Nah. 

My first time seeing this and probably one of the few hotels which we’ve never stayed at. But I remember holding an event here when I was working back then. 

One of the reasons why sis chose Jen cos of the halal bf. Dad sure liked it. And this tutti fruitti cute can? What with the gummies on top.

Restocked my foundation and was gifted this. Hmm okay. So I hang it on my LV key pouch instead.

Haul before checking in. Tsk.

The biggest purchase ever from Popmart sampai dapat free Dimoo bag. 

And and finally claimed bonus from sis! Pink rave eh. Wanted another nude light pink but not avail in my size anymore. After sis dragged me for morning walk from Tanglin to 313, we took mrt to City Hall and got this pair at Raffles City. Can’t wait to put them on! I know sis will be blessed with endless pahala for always making parents and me happy! Heh. ❤️
