Flipping Chapter 3

 

What do you mean Feb’s ended? 🥹

Thankful for the past two months of 2025 filled with so much meets up and gratefulness. Now that Ramadan’s a day away, I’m glad that I could take this opportunity to slow down, re-write priorities and goals and have more time for myself. I want to golek2, nap and pour my emo  into my physical diary. Who am I kidding?

Will try to:

- khatam Quran

- do more spring cleaning 

- get rid of cluttering 

- spend time with parents

Catching

 This week has been speechless. It’s been non stop running errands and ticking off some to-do tasks before puasa. I’ve been sleeping way earlier than my usual bedtime. Tsk. Probably also the age la eh. 

Today was 🤍.

Despite running here and there yet not bumping into you. Cos you know, the universe. And our only connection isn’t connecting. But hey I met my ex partner and that was lovely. Gotta fix a bf date with her after Syawal. 

Settled our bajus but house still wip. Rimas eh with no curtains and the vacuum decided to perangai. Can’t fix the lap lip cos works needs to be done to the windows.  🤷‍♀️

I’m a mess

House is messy, mind’s all messed up. Alamak. Need some serious decluttering physically, mentally and emotionally. So many things to do to achieve in this short period of time. And now at this peaceful hour, mind seems to be so active. What la…

But hey, going through my to do list and looks like i’ve managed to tick off some tasks already. Week ahead seems packed but we’ll get there Insha Allah.

What a long Saturday! And fulfilling too. Alhamdulillah.

Went out early for his award. Gotta work alot harder this year? Tsk. Then we settled his baju raya too! Yay. With CDC voucher somemore. Can go hunt for mine then. Gonna be another busy week ahead before we welcome Ramadan. House still needs alot of work too. Can’t fix the curtains yet. 😩

Low battery

 Today had an impromptu meet up with the bff’s sis. 

Can’t believe we’re done within almost 2.5 hours. 

After that had to rush to town to grab the husb’s stuff. 

So pretty la the blind boxes all wrapped up.

And that paperbag filled with goodies.

Thankful and blessed that I’m close to my bff’s sis. I also hang ard my sis’s bffs too. Haha. I don’t know what I am already. For now, I wanna go back to my safe shell. 🐚 

Kinda

This week in fact since last week has been really busy. But Alhamdulillah we’re getting there Insha Allah. Let’s get all settled before puasa comes. So many appts squeezed. And gonna spend moderately for Raya preps too. That’s the goal for this year. Insha Allah. 

Had bad memory of SK cos I lost my very 1st anni gift of SK pure gold bracelet at the cousin’s wedding. But this one kept popping up and I kinda find it really cute. Didn’t expect the box to be pretty too. 

Aha. Now can even deliver gold eh. Via Speedpost lagi. The lady even put the parcel on the husb’s crocs eh. 

Such a big difference in size. Not that my old bracelet is huge but the new one’s so halus and both of us cuak when we opened the box. Cos it looked so kecik but thankfully it fits. Hee. 

So geram with myself about what happened last few days.

Life’s been pretty hectic with the schedule leading up to Ramadan. Lots to do lots to settle so that when Ramadan comes, we could be more focus. So we had to sleepover at Mom’s over the long wkend cos we started on Friday. Sleeping back in my old room brings tonnes of memories of those days when I was trying to find love and then now sleeping in here with the husb and son. Those glow in the dark stars survived the tests of time. 

Happy could squeeze a brief lunch date with the cousin. He gave me these two. 🥹

And now I really gotta sort out my bags to attach the various key chains I have. 

And you. I hope to congratulate you proper soon.

Supposedly

 Supposed to meet shortie last week but rescheduled to this week. Then supposed to meet Wed then changed to today instead. Ehhhhh (only him wld use such extra letters to emphasize). Supposed to go to a cafe at a school then randomly gotten off elsewhere instead. 

So we just went with the flow and yet managed to achieve alot I would say. 

Arab st - 313 - Punggol

Probably the 1st time in such a long time I had rawon for bf. Till I’ve forgotten totally to lunch.

See lah. So many things from her every single time. 

And the one in the blue pack was my presents. 

Only gave her a Parka but looked at what she’s gotten me!

A co-ord set and many many crybaby stuff. Nak cry.

Fortunately I got the yellow stalk and that added prettily into my collection. 💛

Donno why but been twinning with her since 2011. Donno why I even bothered to. Hahhahahahaha. Tsk

End of bday week

 

Been such a tiring weekend eh. Husb was on leave last Friday cos of the MTP. Had to send the son home first then walked over to sch again. Sat my burik down for a good 1hr+ on his chair in class. Realised how short my attention span still is. Remembered clearly when I was in P5 I couldn’t focus in class and was caught looking out of the window during lesson. Till mr Pereira said ‘Mariyam, my face is not in the clouds.’ Hahaha. Vongok la.

But the boy bought me his canteen’s burger. Eh so plain tapi sedap for them I guess. 

After MTP, walked home and went out for dinner and to fix my hp screen protector which has cracked for the 2nd time. Apakaaaah. Kena bebel ye. He claimed his nvr cracked sampai jual suma. True. 

Sat came and we brought over my box of bags to Mom’s before heading to Bibik’s for kenduri. Oh the yummy food and the great catch-up with cousins. 

 Then the husb ajak go over to his bro’s lak. Eh. 

Woah then SIL gave me bday gift and many2 food as usual. Actually I didn’t know what she packed cos I only knew got keropok. Then realised there’s keropok, epok2, ikan goreng, cili padi and ubi pedas. Alhamdulillah. So many giving people in my life. So blessed. 🥹 

Today thought can chill a bit eh. No. Not at all. Went out to make a huge purchase. Then went over to Marina to buy the son’s new backpack. Cos his 4 year old one almost gave way. Not bad eh. My time every year new school bag. Then went back to NP to grab dinner and waited for the husb to finish his appt. Reached home and did the laundry and ironed clothes. New week belom start da penat. But the upcoming week not gonna be less busy. 😩

Chapter 42

 Happy that I did not spend the birthday alone. In fact had brunch date rather early. Simple bf followed by brunch feast then redeemed my firehouse. 

Alhamdulillah. So grateful and thankful and blessed for all the wishes, doa and messages. 

Not forgetting the plentiful presents which mostly came in pink. Super love.

Husb brought home this hearty ice cream cake. But no space for today. 

Probably the only card that I received this year and I cried reading. Because it came from a teen whose well written message moved me. 🥹

So much love today. For all that i’ve lost, I take gratitude in those who remained by my side till this day. 🩷

Feb’s finally here

 So blessed with plenty of food today! 🥹

Too full that I didn’t even get to try my bday brownies. 

Thankful that the husb got better in time for the celebration with the fam.
