Happy Friday

I don’t know why but this week seems so fast lah. Tiber je da Friday! So happy today got to date with the poly bestie for her belated birthday makan. Not before I realised that I’ve forgotten to bring my hp along. Had to walk back to grab it before making my way to the west. 

Requested for candle but the abang included that simple yet pretty topper. And the tiramisu was light but yummy. 

Wait! This coconut ice cream tasted so much nicer after that brief brisk walk round the garden. And I blurly asked the abang air apa tu at the side. It was the coconut water eh. Menu only states coconut ice cream. Heh. 

And yes! Jumped we did and back home I kena toes cramp X2. And body pun da over stretched. 40s another level abis eh. 

 

Do you have to…

 May’s fast or what? Or I’m just looking forward to June’s break but there’s no plans for the hols. Just nak wake up late, chill, lepak, watch tv… eh. 

Alhamdulillah for term 2 that’s almost over since he’s gotten his results except for the orals. 

Collected my Girl Guides cookies too today. So cute of her to include the little note with a cute cupcake sticker. And it’s something else eh if masuk2 je tgk. 🥺

Mom’s 72nd

We celebrated mom’s bday yesterday thanks to PH.

Husb bought her bird nest, supplements and a top while I got her purple roses and heart shaped cake. 

So happy that we stumbled upon this cake with purple roses topping. Perfect!

Bro belanja at Sanook. What a feast! Alhamdulillah.

While others ordered drinks, I chose the red ruby for dessert! It was such a long day cause we went to Causeway to grab the last minute stuff. And after the celebration, we went to get a new KDK fan using the climate voucher. Eventful betul.

Almost eleven

 Today was special. And fast. And busy. 

I couldn’t sleep early last night walaupun came home late and was so tired from the 8hr date. 

In fact I continued chatting with bf bestie till 1ish and the husb woke up and reprimanded me then returned to slp. What lah. Da sleep also nak nag. 

Woke up in the middle of the night cos I thought I heard the rain told the husb I have things left outside. Heh. 

Woke up rather early still then harassed the husb to go out and hunt these for me. Though he’s bought me bouquet of roses and hydrangea. He cycled over and yay got them flowers successfully. In the light rain. ❤️

The son got me these with his own money. Not gonna deny if he’s going to be upset but really he had lots of them moolah. Belanja mak nye sikit so berkat nanti ye. 

This was SO impromptu. Think he knows I wanted a bag but he’s been saying NO. Then today while outside he told me to get one and that his offer only valid for today. Walked in and saw the bag, tried it on and settled on the black one. While the brown one is so classic I’ve decided to pick the black cos more rock. My initial Mother’s Day wishlist is only that lip balm from Dior. But guess what? After buying the bag, I got $70+ rebate and used it for the lip balm. ✌️

So here’s to almost 11 years of motherhood.

29 years

 The bff asked me out on a date. Omg i cannot even recall when was the last time we went out. 2024 she came over to my place and ate my homecooked food and we went to Arnolds. It’s very rare of her to ask me out cos she works 7 days a week!

She wanted to have paella. So paella we had! Over at east. And it’s where the husb sometimes has his lunch. He couldn’t help but to laugh at me la. Paella was flavourful and churros dip was creamy like melted ice cream. 

Probably my first Arabica and it’s a lemonade. Haha. We waited 20mins seh. But quite aesthetic eh.

Last min decided to have woke ramen for late dinner and what a surprise they gave away mom’s day gift. Then bff asked for another dapat seh. 

Oh she also bought me skirt set!

Aaaannddd I dont know what you’re trying to prove eh. Masuk wkend dengan niat nak kasi jelly ke? Atau mmg ada date dengan pelanggan? Atau da matair dengan teman sekerja? Atau. Aaaaaaaaaaaah sudahlaaaa. 

Mothering

 It was an eventful day. The son missed his camp cos he was unwell and had to join P4 class today. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience for him.

Surprisingly the jiran wanted to have bf. Semangat we cycled then it rained so heavily. 

But I clocked my 10k by noon. 

Was lazing around wanted to nap when there’s delivery. Almost wanted to tell him to just leave it outside when I blurly (cos nvr wear specs ma) saw he’s holding a bouquet. Collected it and saw the hydrangea. 🩷

Lost count of the bouquets he’s bought me but loves every single one of them. I’m so blessed and grateful.

Fam Bam time

After voting, we went out to grab some essentials. 

And had super cute dinner.

 

Very filling, shared with the boys. 

Wasn’t that spicy. And it was burning hot.

Dessert wasn’t enough. And so cute pls.

Bro brought us cycling at ECP. This time with the husb and boy. He had so much fun eh. Besok exam.

Told mom I wld fry wings then she made spags. 

Sedap. Perfect combo for picnic.

Not really a thirst quencher but still cute. 

There was an assam boy but of cos I chose the girl. 

Girlfriends for life

Finally threesome brekkie with the jiran and bf bestie. 

 

So fun, so filling and so great to have proper chats after so long. Food was great too!

Rushed home and cooked bee hoon, nuggets and pizza and welcomed the NTU girlfriends. These ladies were by side throughout my lowest and probably happiest parts of my life. Am so blessed to still stay in touch up to this very day. Was so busy so packed that I didn’t have time to miss or worry about you when you suddenly back from outer space. And I wasn’t looking forward to anything but there you were, an update picture since almost 10 months ago. Eh kalo pregnant, da kuar pun baby tu.

 What a weird week post Syawal!

If last weekend was a milestone, guess now back to pre roller coaster ride days. 72 hours and counting out of touch. Whatever it is, and how odd it was, there’s alot more to be thankful for than be upset about. 

Like the bf bestie and I made an abrupt decision to go to town evening, hujan2, just to grab 2 boxes of Ewoks. For the husbands. Like seriously, we did that! It was a breeze though compared to popmart. And proud cos we didn’t cab home. And nevermind the next day I had to cook early morning for a 1030am guest!

Yes, cooked lodeh I did with a tad too sweet sambal telur. Also fried my homemade begedil. 

She came with my fave gerberas! ❤️

And today couldn’t follow the fam to south cos the husb had rally to go. And yay I got to try the kunafa soft serve from Nasty. Sedap but glad we shared the calories. Had to take some bites from the boy’s choc chip cookie too. 

And so humbled to receive this from the cutie neighbour. Eh must ask her for lollipop la since I helped her with her hw. Up on my fridge door! And today being Thursday, husb recited Al-Fateha. Tonight felt a little heavier. 🥺
