Deliveries exhaustion
Aha. Is there such a term? I mean since the MCM delivery from HK, particularly if it relates to the husband, there seems to always have hiccups somehow. And the worst part is I can’t share with him. That plus the anxiety of whether I could be home to receive the deliveries.
Now that we're on this deliveries topic, gonna update the experiences I had especially during the CB period and up till now. Gonna be a bit lengthy but shall keep it brief.
- So I had these 2 guys (for the first time ever!) appearing at the door to deliver a box of premium roses. Probably cos the condition was to hold the box laying position hence might need the assistance to hold the lift and such.
- The usual delivery guy from the online store would send me a photo of the parcel he placed in my riser.
- A pakcik came to deliver 99 roses said he came earlier on but no one was in.
- Received a call and said no one home cos he's at my door but apparently NOT at my door.
-Placed the parcel on the shoe rack and once, even under the kid's Crocs.
- 'Throw' the parcel between the door and gate.
- Claimed that delivery was successful and even asked us to check riser when mom's place has no closed riser. Eventually informed us that the color we ordered had no stocks and new delivery was done. No reason provided for the 'previous delivery.'
- Wrong shipping address (was sent to billing address instead), no apology given but I had to do the chasing like mad.
- Item delivered wrongly to neighbour and thankfully (my never seen before) neighbour came over personally to pass the parcel.
- Delivered us extra food and told us to keep (it was his mom's business).
- Parcel left at the gate without ringing our bell.
- Some gave salam aloud and also softly.
- Peered into living room to see our tank and also commented on our plants.
- Received msg for my $600 delivery from HK but it didn't turn up, Had to email the brand and called up the courier.
- Claimed the parcel was placed in riser when in fact we were home at the time delivery was made and of course nothing was found in the riser.
