Aladdin the Musical at MBS

My favourite childhood cartoon. In fact I made an Aladdin and Princess Jasmine stamp for my wedding almost 6 years ago. Instantly agreed to watch when sis ajak few months back.

Had a quick lunch at DC superheroes cafe.

Since we are not allowed to snap pics or videos, could only take the curtains. 😂

*I am amazed at how the audience actually queued up on their own (with no ushers/ guides) to take photos with the display lamp. Not only that.

It was a systematic queue whereby they automatically or naturally asked the people behind them in the queue to help snap the photos. ❣️

Bought the husband and kid souvenirs from the musical.

A genie tshirt for the kid and the lamp for the husband. 🧞‍♂️

It was such a colourful vibrant glittery musical.

Quite dry in the beginning but when the genie came on it was all so fun and humorous.

Of course they had to include Chilli Crab in the show.

My most favourite part has got to be the Magic Carpet ride where both Aladdin and Princess Jasmine were on the carpet high up in the night sky filled with stars and bright full moon. 🌕

Bracing for another long week!

Oh boy. Another long week awaits especially with the husband having to work next Sunday and then need to rush for a cukur rambut. Cannot wait for the long weekend to come lah! But no plans made yet. Alamak means the husband’s birthday is just around the corner.

So we went to town today and the husband bought me new slip-on! Yay.

It was also this date 9 years ago that we took our first couple photo ever.

Alhamdulillah.

Didn’t really realise that the logo’s pink but it’s stated there rose gold. ❤️

Anyways saw someone familiar today and that the kid’s with him fits his current status.

Hmmm.

BISMILLAH to the new week ahead!

Went to Mom’s as usual and bro came with lotsa lotsa food from Expo!

Alhamdulillah we managed to just stay at Mom’s then returned home without any menyeleweng. Heh. So here’s the food!

Been waiting all my life to try this one!

It was indeed delicious.

I tried the Rendang Kerang. 😋

The kerang was a bit hancur but it was tasty still.

The texture of the pulut was perfect. Neither hard nor too soft.

Finally a really good yummy food cos nowadays people raves so much about food but they turn out to be average or less.

Heard about these before but not really wanted to try.

Basically you tiao with different toppings.

The cheese was surprisingly sedap too but I kinda dislike the taste of the fried you tiao (imagining the fat and oil creeping into me with every bite).

Yesterday the husband’s got a meeting at Central and he bought me cakes!

Each of them looking so so pretty!

The yummiest has got to be the tart!

But taste wise they’re really yummy!

Alhamdulillah for the great food and abundance of rezeki. ❤️

Finally she came!

This is definitely something new. Just met her recently and then today she came over to my place. My brisk walk partner! Prepared Nasi Lemak and Popiah goreng for her.

Yes siap with sambal telur burung and ikan bilis.

She brought me more spices!

Can’t wait to try the saus sambal.

Oh gosh! Can’t believe that we went for weddings for 3 consecutive weekends! And they’re all far at Bedok (twice!) and Crawford Lane. Finally a free weekend next week. Phew.

Since we’re already at TM, the best way home was to take bus from Airport.

Hence, we ended up at Jewel (2nd time now).

Nope. Not to shop for anything nor have our early dinner there.

We didn’t plan to stay and watch the Pokèmon parade too.

The husband got excited cos we were at the right place and almost at the right time.

So he took a video and I just snapped this.

So cute la I think they’re worth your attention if you happened to be there.

Yay! Top for the musical! Thanks to the husband.

This is really pricey compared to a less than $30 top that I can wear more often than this.

This is from ZARA. And I need to figure out an outerwear for my hands.

DC Super Heroes Cafe

Finally another Halal option at MBS! But pricey still lah.

The last time we had our meal at CBTL it costed us $70+ and this time at DCSH Cafe sets us back $90+ for two mains and two drinks!

The portions’ really huge though.

Husband’s passionfruit tea.

The big ice comes in Batman logo.

His wagyu burger. Really soft patty.

Came in Batman shaped dish.

My Doomsday Chicken Waffles.

The waffles reminded me of A&W’s.

Another angle with my lychee drink.

The glasses were all cute and came with capes.

Floral Fantasy at GBTB

The start of the long weekend for the boy but the last weekend for the husband to relax before the new term starts. So guess no more early homecomings for the husband.

This Floral Fantasy trip was rather impromptu.

Didn’t plan ahead with mom and since Dad’s overseas, thought wanted to bring her out and have a little fun. Sis agreed of course and so we ended up there.

But we totally forgotten how chaotic and crowded it could get.

Well, my plan was to have dinner at PS then to Floral Fantasy in the evening.

However the entrance required allocated timeslots for crowd control and I think it was a good idea too so that everyone could enjoy the exhibition thoroughly.

After discussion we decided to purchase the 5-6pm tickets.

Reached about half an hour early so had to hang around for a bit before being allowed in.

The strong floral scent greeted us instantly once inside.
