Met the girls today to celebrate a belated birthday!

Alhamdulillah she enjoyed herself thoroughly looking at the flowers, had a hard time deciding on which bouquet to bring back and of course the Dragonfly ride at the end.

And thankfully the exhibit has changed from my previous visit!

This is something new too to commemorate our National Day.

So so proud to be a Singaporean.

Of course dragged them girls to smell these bouquets and for the belated birthday girl to choose her bouquet.

So happy to be receiving souvenirs and these ones were from Italy!

Doubt I would ever reach there!

So after the floral date with the girls, I met sis for Take That’s concert over at GV.

Kinda like the idea of them acknowledging us cinema audience at the concert.

Felt rather real as if we were there with them.

And their performance was definitely way better than BSB’s. ❤️

We are nonsense.. like that

My husband and I have so many differences. Yet we are both the last child.

And we both love toys. Especially plush toys for me.

Just look at his Snorlax collection.

Decided to get him the Big Snorlax so that he won’t have to use my cushions.

Guess he was feeling guilty about the Snorlax and he decided to get this for me.

This is really huge and comes in a dustbag. Cool or what.

And it’s specially sold at the pop up at airport.

I bought the blanket previously and this huge Mang cushion is so irresistible.

The hair’s in corduroy!

The power of social media. Saw this posted by Takashimaya and told the husband. He wasn’t keen in the beginning but after some browsing he selected a few.

Thing is we had to bid to buy them.

And he stayed up on his bday eve to bid.

We successfully bid for 4 of them.

My favourite gotta be the old traditional kuih cheongsam cat which I managed to bid at the last minute. Proceeds from the sales goes to a good cause.

The bus captain which is a gift for a friend’s dad.

No more fighting over Penguin.

One cushion for each one of us. 😂

His post birthday staycation

I’ve lost count on the number of times we stayed at Crowne (stayed last June 2018) but obviously it’s our fave staycation hotel. And for the first time we took bus here with our luggage. Alhamdulillah got seats for all 3 of us too. Hope the husband’s enjoying himself and I got him a Snorlax since everyone’s just arguing to use my penguin plushy at home.

Complimentary cake from Crowne. Really quite huge for 3 of us.

Had lunch at Commons and it was delish.

Loves the Creme Brûlée too. A mix of sweet and sour yet had that crunchy bites.

The spaghetti the husband chose came with Breaded Beef.

That’s a first!

Celebrating his Birthday Since 2010

The husband turns 38 today! Alhamdulillah.

Doa that he will stay healthy, given patience and determination to go through this temporary world. Looking forward to this weekend. Can’t wait!

Just a simple birthday dinner at our favourite Swensen’s (for free firehouse)!

Got him a simple choc fudge cake. Although there were so many options, still couldn’t decide to get which one. Ended up with this boring one but not muak.

Too full to enjoy it tonight so we gonna savour it for breakfast tomorrow.

The husband then sent his jeans (presents from the parents) for alterations and I saw the Levi’s X Hello Kitty. I know that Le Sports Sac had just launched pouches with Hello Kitty but this particular bag is really cute! I’ve dozens of tote bags but of course a woman can never have too many bags! Husband bought this for me!

Yes it’s going to be annual!

His birthday = A present for the wife!

This tote is $49.90 but I like the huge Levi’s and the HK gang on the front with the back also printed with the behind of the front print. 😻 Anyways husband is really lucky to have received so many presents this year.

Google Home from bro and SIL, 2 Levi’s jeans from parents, 2 trackpants from sis and a special gift (from his wishlist) from me.

Alhamdulillah, hope he knows that he’s surrounded with lots of family love. ❣️

His advanced birthday celebration

So I cooked Opor Ayam, Daging Rendang, Dendeng and Ayam Goreng for his little celebration with family. Mom brought her Dalca Kambing (korban).

Alhamdulillah quite a big spread. Didn’t expect Abang to get him a gift and he bought Google Home! Woah.

Sis slept over but she went out to buy Twelve Cupcakes.

Abang gave us the ole-ole from Down Under too!

Yay! So many pretty bowls.

Cousin gave us ole-ole too from Penang! ❤️

Shopaholic! 🛍

So happy today although I was fasting! The husband had no plans but I wanted to go Suntec because wanted to grab the Adidas pants! And I do not know why I’ve been wanting to buy Vans oldschool shoes. Adidas has 20% and AW Lab has 15% (if you put on anything red). So told the husband that we’ll get BK for break fast.

Contented too that we managed to go out after Zohor and return before Maghrib.

Vans shoes have always been on the heavier side but these are super light and has wide fit!

Best part is the husband bought these for me!

Cos he was wearing red lah (what an excuse!). 😂

Had to tempt the kid with the emoji photo opps at Marina Square.

Bagaholic - addicted to bags

Honestly, I’ve loved bags since forever. When I was still working, probably had a consistent workbag for weekdays but I remembered carrying DKNY, Guess and Kate Spade to work. Ironically wasn’t into luxury bags although I could afford them especially during bonus times. And now that I’m staying home with nowhere to go on weekdays, my love for luxury bags grow intensely. I got my 1st LV 6 years ago and it’s still in really good condition.

Besides the above collection, I do have a tiny Burberry bag from sis.

As you can see, I have 3 crossbody, 1 clutch pouch and 1 shoulder/ tote bag.

And now I’m so itching to get a WOC (wallet on chain). Definitely can’t afford to get Chanel or Dior but I need to explore other brands besides LV and Gucci.

Glad that I’m over the big diaper bag phase so I’m loving the challenge to buy small bags and squeeze the essentials in.

Canopy Park at Jewel

We had the earliest Saturday ever! Went out slightly after 6am and reached airport by 7.15am to send the bro off. Even Jewel’s waterfall hasn’t start.

Today probably we discovered more about Jewel especially the Canopy Park at L5!

Such a perfect date venue to go with colourful flowers and lotsa eateries.

During my dating times even GBTB wasn’t there yet. Had to go Botanic Garden instead. 😂

Glad could bring the parents around too to admire the rain vortex and the greenery.
