Frozen

We had a really long day today.

Went out at 11am to attend a wedding and then took the bus to airport to send cousin off.

It’s so crowded at the airport and Jewel.

Almost like Disneyland where all the little girls donning their best Frozen dresses.

Had lunch with the husband’s siblings at So Pho and we even got to experience the ‘snow’ at the rain vortex. Such a pleasant surprise.

I’m sure that it’d be a lot more beautiful and amazing at night.

The kid’s so happy that he’s gotten Olaf.

Gave Anna to his Obek.

Loves my new vintage phone.

Supposed to be in red but turns out to be more berry pink.

Will get a new diffuser to be placed next to it!

November Birthday Staycation

I know right? Who would go for staycations two weekends in a row? Me! 🙋‍♀️

Sis treats all of us for a night stay at Siloso Beach resort.

It was different from the ordinary hotel stays because it’s probably the first we stayed in Sentosa as a big family.

Surrounded by lush greenery and by the beach. 

So here’s the kid wearing Minions set from his Grandma in 2016 and wearing the jersey set from his Obek in 2019.

Alhamdulillah we got a room upgrade.

Could clearly hear the waterfall from our room.

When sis and I had our 2nd swim today.

We shared the pool with another couple.

So peaceful.

The resort hires people with special education needs and I was given a flower by one of them. Sweet.

Since 2013

Alhamdulillah our marriage turns 6 today.

So blessed I am to be married to my husband and I pray that our jodoh will last hingga ke Jannah. Insha Allah. Still learning new things together and hopefully be a better muslim in time to come. Syukur Alhamdulillah.

6 years ago. I’d like to say we’re quite chill but a little rushed as we had our Nikah in the morning followed by reception and had to be done by 6pm for both sides.

I remembered I needed to redo my make-up as we solat for Zohor.

Had 3 wedding attires to change into.

Alhamdulillah all went well.

Staycation was great as usual.

As we got the fountain view, we managed to see the National Stadium in a distance.

There’s a small window covered in blind and the husband said not to open it.

But what a surprise when I decided not to listen to him.

Had a glimpse of flyer, GBTB domes and even MBS.

And hey it’s the beautiful sunrise.

Masha Allah.

In other news, Alhamdulillah the sis has returned safely from Bosnia.

The goodies she gotten for us! 💕

6th Anniversary Staycation

Our 3rd time here. Came by bus and had lunch.

Wanted to buy the bro’s present but not avail.

Tried our luck to probably just leave our luggages at the hotel and continued to look for the present when the front desk said she could register us first.

Then she found a room ready for us and we got the fountain view for the first time.

I’ve only indicated ‘anniversary celebration’ when I made the booking.

It’s really nice of them to provide us with the anniversary chocolates without requesting.

And they’ve changed the plating this year. 💕 

A new and fun addition at the pool!

It was crowded at the tanning chairs and really hot as we went for a dip around 2-ish.

Stayed for an hour and headed for dinner and MBS to get the present.

So sweet of the MBS ambassador to give the boy a pen when he’s been so busy with membership stuff. 

Delivery!

Got all of my 11.11 sale haul.

Relieved that all my Poplook fits except the pink dress that fits on the tighter side.

Gave 1 of my tudung away. 

Bought 2 dresses, 2 tops, 1 pants from Poplook.

That’s about $15 each and got free cardholder! ❤️

Tudung from Maysixteen also about $15 each after discounts.

Running into deficit now. 😭

This was random and impromptu.

Husband asked about the queue he saw at Mac early in the morning.

Then I realised a friend could be having her Mac lunch today and asked her to grab for me.

And she did! Without much hassle.

Still seeing a queue at the main mall around lunchtime just now.

Probably gonna save it in the box till the end of time. 😂

It really made my Thursday! 

Moved the roses to a bottle since they provided me with the powder to sustain the fresh flowers. I must say it’s prettier this way and looking really beautiful next to my phone. ☎️

It’s been a decade since you sound(ed) me steady. 

Alhamdulillah for everything and more. ❤️

I started the washing machine, folded the laundry and vacuumed the house.

Then had my breakfast before resting on the couch.

Heard dragging of feet and assuming that it’s just those flyers distributors I ignored.

Till he knocked the door and rang the bell.

NinjaVan delivery from the husband.

It was unexpected because I totally forgotten that it’s 13.11 today.

In fact he was the one who reminded me of the date after he went to work.

Furthermore I was looking forward to this Sunday instead although we had our gifts for each other already.

Anyways it was a surprise indeed and I am so thankful and grateful.

Syukur Alhamdulillah. 🤲

So I spent about 100 bucks at Sephora today!

Good news is that I got 5x bonus points which means I have over 700 now.

And I also managed to get the OOS Fresh xmas set.

Managed to finalise the gifts for the year end gathering, gifts for the teachers and self-care gifts! ❤️ Can’t wait for next weekend cos I plan to shop over at H&M!

Movie date with the BFFs

Probably the final meet-up for 2019 with the BFFs.

Watched a malay movie after years and cinema going is so rare after you have a kid.

It was a brief lunch and movie date but so thankful for the friendship since 1990.

A whole 29 years of friendship.

Alhamdulillah.

Got her those roses 🌹 and altho late hope she loves it still.

Tomorrow gonna be a lot of sales and I couldn’t decide which website I should spend my money on. How? Should I get more tudung? Or tops and dresses from Poplook?

But so tempted to buy stuff from Sephora too. 

And should I grab that H&M collab bag? 😭

For now I am happy that this Mcdelivery has arrived!

It’s going to be a long Saturday with a movie date with the pri sch best friends and my ex. Haha. Then gonna send off sis for her birthday trip! ✈️

Pre-anniversary

Got my early anniversary gift today!

Been wanting to get the mini pochette for the longest time and the husband suggested to go check my favourite store today.

And I was lucky to be able to snag although not the first design choice but I guess it’s fated as it’s the safest and in my favourite fuchsia.

Didn’t expect to be able to buy it immediately.

A day of giving

It’s been indeed a long long Saturday!

Woke up early to cook laksa for the boys. 

Then went for the hair appt for sis’ early bday gift.

Thought had booked at 11am but was told it’s supposed to be 11.30 instead.

Alamak. Was there from 11.30am till 3pm. 😳

Spent 3.5 hours at the salon to colour hair and nails. 😭

Could have done so many other things instead.

Now my hair’s like this. How? 😂

So after the sis’ present, I went on a brief date to shop for the husband’s anniversary gift pulak. Alhamdulillah he’s really happy to have visited the physical shop.

We managed to buy the sis a bday cake from Juliebakes. 

What a fulfilling day!
