A surprise early in the morning smack at 9am!

But I think the delivery Ah Pek got a surprise instead seeing me with the out of bed look.

Grateful and blessed to have a husband who spoils me with flowers on almost every occasion. Alhamdulillah.

May Allah bless our marriage hingga ke Jannah.

Thankful for the gifts from the husband. 

Can’t wait to spend the weekend with the family.

Ole-ole

So thankful that I’ve been getting souvenirs from all over.

Usually from sis cos dia tak tahu duduk diam2. 

Always planning to go somewhere.

Okay these were not from the siblings but the sis’ best friend.

Yah I know right. So grateful that even her friend would remember to get me ole2.

From Bangkok. That fish sticks yummily spicy.

Bro went to Batam with his in-laws.

Told him to get me body scrub and look at the number of bottles he’s gotten me.

12 lei! That could last me for a year or more! 😁

And sis just returned from Philippine.

Despite the volcano risk and all she went ahead with the trip.

Alhamdulillah she’s back safe and sound.

Sephora Haul

This is not so much of a haul but I bought my serum at $175. And with that purchase, I got a free gift set (pouch and 3 samples).

I also received urm you may see the pic below.

I was expecting a black and white box but it came in a huge cardboard 📦.

Peh besar!

Probably the biggest box ever for my online shopping.

Yeap all these items free with the purchase of only 1 serum.

As consumers you should research much as you may get same item for less or with free gifts. Like for my serum, I could get it from Metro so that I could get 20% gift voucher, Tangs for the member’s rebate, Estee Lauder shop for their pretty paper bag or in this case, Sephora for the free gift set and points! With this, my member will be changed to Black. So that would make me eligible to buy stuff when they’re having their Sale. 

Frankly, I may not use most of these samples so I prefer pouches, bags.

 Hmm I should create a box for samples just like sis so that I could use them for getaways.

Okie! Time to save money.

Another early birthday lunch ❤️

So today’s the early birthday lunch with the best friend of 20 years!

Yes. Crazy right? But so grateful and thankful that we’re still friends till this day.

We had Swensens cos of the 1 for 1 and she even managed to get her new specs at Owndays. So fruitful despite such a brief meet-up.

Funnily all my presents this time are in black and white bags.

From Coach to Marc Jacobs and Pierre Cardin to Pandora! 

The best friend just told me that I could use the pendant on my bracelet!

Because I got to meet the BFFs yesterday and paid a visit to TTSH.

The parents slept over too so that they could look after the boy.

It was really impromptu to grab my bday present today.

Because sis already checked the presents out yesterday.

The colours of my choice were not available so it took a while for me to decide on this one.

Alhamdulillah! Syukur that we’re able to meet today. My best friends for 3 decades. 
Aha. 30 years! So thankful and blessed and grateful. 

My gifts this year? Such an annoyingly humorous card.

Had Malayan Council for the first time.

What a generous food place!

We wanted to order Truffle fries but not available then they gave us Mussels in cream sauce free! Not only that. We were given 2 complimentary cakes as well!

Durian cake.

And the other cake! A bit crushed cos it rained a little just now.

The BFF treated me Konditori and I chose this cheese scone!

Can't wait to try.

We had fun posing at the murals and we even had a Jump Shot!

Bismillah to the brand new week ahead. Which will be full blown as the husband will commence his new 2 year class. May Allah grant him patience and ease his tasks.

No more relaxing or short week at least till the CNY week.

The kid’s parents - child bonding in lantern making all done!

Spent a dollar for the bag of fortune tassle.

Accompanied the sis for her shoes shopping today.

She bought 3! Adidas and 2 Clarks for her work shoes.

And I took the opportunity to stock up on my body mists and hand soaps from BBW.

When I thought that $5 is the cheapest price you can get, I got them at $2.50 each cos of Buy 2 Get 2 Free! ❤️

Fulfilling weekend

Alhamdulillah felt so accomplished and fulfilling on the very first weekend of 2020. Truly enjoyed our time at Jewel and Canopy Park yesterday and being home early on a Saturday.

Went out to grab Popeyes for the family all in under an hour. 💪

Today husband bought breakfast after his morning run and we sent mom for her massage.

Pretty sure that she enjoyed herself too and hopefully had enough rest despite feeling a little unwell yesterday. And bro came with lunch for us. Still thankful nevertheless although I’ve cooked Mee Soto for lunch. Grateful for the rezeki and time spent with the family.

Now I’m all geared to do laundry cos the sun’s so bright!

I received my first birthday presents a month ahead! From the husband. Yeap not 1 but 2 items from Coach. Unbelievable cos getting 2 items is more worth it.

If we were to only buy the big item, we would need to pay $447.

But getting the other item would mean we need to pay for $430!

These are sales items and you’ll get additional 20% if you buy 2. 

Loving the red ribbon from Coach because I rarely seen their gift boxes.

Snow walk ❄️ ⛄️

Didn’t expect to be able to have the snow walk at Canopy Park, Jewel. We ran out of weekends to go in December and when we could, there was a crowd so we decided to give it a miss. It was a good opportunity to visit today with the parents. And they’re all worn out and gone to bed now.
And Alhamdulillah too that we took the sky train into Jewel to get a different view of the Rain Vortex.

So today I could redeem up to 7 Frozen 2 items so got 2 sets of packing pouch and Sven for the kid.

Oh just received a call from Santa that my birthday present has been sent early.

Aha that black Coach paper bag (there’s 2 actually!) had my presents in them.

Seriously though there’s Santa on the line. 

And got these unique Kit Kat flavours from the Festive Market.
