 So the cousin msg me cos I’ve been quiet in IG.

Minutes later a Grab came banging the door.

He sent these along with a cute note.

I’m still unsure if we get to meet for Syawal. 

Insha Allah even if not physically shall be virtually.

I’m truly blessed and grateful for such a giving cousin and I pray Allah will always bless him with a life full of barakah.

Khatam.. Again

 Yay Alhamdulillah! My 3rd time khatam Quran.

The last being May 2020. This time during Ramadhan. Insha Allah will keep going and read tafsir next.

A sense of

 Syukur. Alhamdulillah. It has yet to sink in deeeeep that the boy has adapted well to this new school journey. He had not given me a hard time waking up early although he was from PM sessions previously. He has been braving through his Spelling and Ejaan with perseverance.

And he came home with this badge today.

No one tells you that the hardest part of Motherhood is when your kid grows up. 

A much needed

 Retail therapy for the husband! Hmmm actually no la. Just that it’s time for him to find new shoes for work and buy a new perfume. So today we braved the heavy rainfall for a brief shopping date. 

My bag of the day.

 Seriously I should stop getting new bags. Better  use all my LVs, Chanel, YSL, Marc Jacob and Gucci on rotation. 😬

Eh eh. This isn’t his. Heh.

I’ve been wanting waiting contemplating to get this top from Polo. 

And the husband said this is for my PB. Yay! 💖 

And this is his new shoes.

Along with free leather laptop and tablet bag.

His new perfume. Kecoh eh.

The SA was so so kind and generous she even acknowledged herself as auntie. I used my Sands rewards so the husband got the deodorant as well.

The SA threw in a free pouch and samples and even that serum for me. She also included additional paperbag. So ❤️. Yes the free pouch came in a sturdy box and she gift wrapped for him.

Apam Balik

 4 days of Ramadhan passed by just like that.

Getting used to waking up at 4.30am daily and my eyes. Oh my eyes. The blackest I ever had.

 Panda pun kalah. Alhamdulillah survived the toughest 1st day. Need my mac bfs.

Pls come back.

Wanted to eat Apam Balik so bad. 

Puasa cravings kicking in eh.

Glad that it’s a tad fluffy but not as gebu as it should be. What’s shiok is that I chunked in loads of corn on the inside! 

First Terawih

 Light’s up!

It’s time to change and celebrate Ramadhan. Always having these mixed feelings. Moving on. So so hard to remind the heart to be still and look forward instead of playing the same memories again and again like a broken record. Bah.

Another Sephora haul

 I wanted to restock my facial pdts from Sephora store but apparently the serum’s set available online only. So had to order but glad eligible for 25% discount! 😍

How funny that most of the main items were similar in colour. The most ex gotta be that serum originally priced at $175 but I got it at $130+ and it came with a big pouch with other useful pdts such as toner and make up remover. 🥰

Had to restock my fave cleanser from Fresh and moisturiser for the husb as well as our rose toner. And that colourful gem stickers, was wondering for what. Oh to stick on the zipper. 😂

Dad’s 72nd

What a Long Long day it’s been! So damn tired eh but I can’t seem to sleep. Apa kah.

Had early morning breakfast at 7.30am followed by an hour of pool time. 

Reached home and cooked rice, baked chix for lunch plus did laundry.

When the family came over, headed out for Swensens early dinner. 

- took a while to get tables (wait number 1)

- had to grab necessities from Cold Storage and dia punya sabar... ish tak terkata. No more CS for now. Or forever! ( wait number 2)

- waited for Popeyes (wait number 3)

- waited for CBTL cos still got time for next bus. Apa punya nasib when she was packing the drink dropped and had to re-do. ( wait number 4)

- missed the bus and waited 12 min for the next one (wait number 5)

B R E A T H E

Got home and prepared rojak buah.

Cut up all ingredients and done. 

Finally could do the cake cutting.

Didn’t even order a customised one but this Mango Ice Cream cake was yummy still.

Almost a wk left to Ramadhan. 

Belum abis ngaji Quran and plan fd for Sahur. 😩

Twelve years later

 Back at Fullerton. The last time we had a bridal party here in 2009. Probably one of the first few staycations. Service is tip top as always. No crowd outside but a little crowd at the reception area although not obvious as we were all seated according to numbered tables. And the front desk staff would call you personally for check-in. 

The wait wasn’t long and all done and settled within 30 mins. 

Loves the interior and we didn’t get any view from the room. They placed a periscope instead. Interesting. Probably similar room to which I had the last time. So here’s my Chanel making her memories. 🖤

Contemplated much to grab this pair. But I used my Sands dollars so in a way I did not fork out any cash. Of course I could have used the Sands dollars for Gucci or Prada or I don’t know something else like Tory Burch instead but I had no plans to shop at the moment.

Dropped by the Gift shop and the husband just had to purchase these bears when we already have 4 at home. 

But yeah the chinese couple so cute.
