Warm-up week

 Yesterday’s HBL was smooth and hopefully the kids could tune their bodies and mind to gear up for school. He managed to complete rather early cos Zoom was at 8 and he did some offline work before that. Gonna wake him up early to slowly get back to routine. 

My Cotton On delivery came just nice after our early lunch cos we planned to head out right after.

Mainly singlets for the boy and probably the cheapest from Cotton On too. As low as $5.60! 

Bought Red Hot Chilli Peppers and ACDC tee for my jab. And a beach shorts for the husband. 

The husband planned to bring him to Lego at RWS. Can’t believe we got lost in the island when we alighted at Convention Ctr thinking that we would end up at the carpark. Only to find ourselves in between Covid facilities eh! 😖Managed to find the Casino entrance and got my VS as well. Thought the Lego store would be really huge but I guess Legoland’s much better. Collection wise. Persuaded the husband to take the Mosaic Portrait with the boy. Now my thumb’s hurting from all the fixing. Back to reality today with the chores and going to force myself to a zumba sesh. 

Swing

Can’t believe the wkend’s almost over. Means end of sch holidays. So not ready for the unpredictable term ahead. Hopefully the boy’s enjoyed his break thoroughly.

Had staycay at Mom’s and brought him to Jurong Lake Gardens again. This time he managed to play at the Forest Ramble. Urmm and I could play the swing too!

Bismillah. Swinging into the new school term tomorrow morning right at 8am! 😬

Teenage Bestfriend

Yesssss! Finally get to celebrate her super belated birthday. And what great way to celebrate than at home. So we can talk till end of time. Heh.

Ordered Swensens and some desserts for late noon tea sesh. Don’t get me started on how long we’ve been best friends. 

Through funniest, weirdest, saddest phases of our milestones. Cos she’s my teenage bestfriend since 17! So blessed to have this friendship till this day.  Hope she remembers to selit me in her daily doas. ❤️

 So many weird things happened recently.

It began with me depositing cash into CDM but wasn’t reflected. Took a few days to settle that.

Bought CBTL drinks on offer but was overcharged.

SIL managed to help to get the money back.

Ordered things from Shopee but got sent wrong size. Seller was so blur and just ugh. Decided to just accept it and move on. Booked appt for the parents only to have given the wrong unit number. 🤣 And the latest when we confidently went to Jacob Ballas but it was closed. Pandai!

Well it’s all about ‘When things don’t go your way, got to embrace and walk on.’ 😬

Despite all things weird, there are indeed some positivity happening at the same time.

Priorities!

Like this pouch from 7-11. Been wanting to get it but nvr got to go 7-11. And when I did, bought stuff food I mean lotsa of them to be able to collect 5 stickers just so I could buy the Sanrio blind box!

Super lucky that I managed to get Hello Kitty instead of any others.

Bought my 1st ever Casetify. Been using Kate Spade covers for all my phones but this time, the cover became loose. So decided to try Casetify.

And they just recently collab with Mickey. ❤️

This is just the sis $281 shopping of dresses at FV. I think I nvr even once received a box from FV.

There’s 5 dresses in there and 1’s mine. 😛

And of course she said it’s her treat!

A little big for me but loves how it’s not so kembang or baggy.

Tried this meal for dinner. Never ever eaten nuggets with Cajun. It’s different.

And those who tak nak beli and rasa sudahla tak ya bising2. Not using your money kan. Bising normal nuggets la nothing special la.. I don’t even know the members of BTS but I zumba to their songs. And my time dulu also I collect BSB la Take That eh Blink 182 la.. 😍

Last weekend of the sch hols! 💪

Eh da siap. I happened to have that unused tumbler so decided to change the paper. And cut the bookmark out for the boy. 

The first excursion

 This was so impromptu and unplanned.

The weather was cloudy then bright and then cloudy again. Eh eh. After lunch we decided to go ahead and upon reaching, tutup la seh!

Yes. Wanted to bring him to Jacob Ballas Garden and then it was closed (cos closed every Monday). Luckily we could continue the walk to National Orchid Garden. And managed to play the oldskool swing. Fave!

But hey!!!! After so long 2 months ke eh, finally hit 10k again! Means the sending and fetching really helped alot. Still haven’t find the drive to Zumba. 🥲

Couldn’t remember that National Orchid Garden was this huge! Well the last time we went there was back during our dating days. 11 years ago. 😳

Really huge with different zones now. 

So besides these 2, we saw monitor lizards, squirrels, dead fish, uncommon birds and dragonflies.

Father’s Day

 

The parents stayed over and we had a back to back feast. Had Abu Mubarak mandi rice for early dinner yesterday. Guess Mom really enjoyed her staycay with the morning walk to Rower’s Bay.

Ordered Mac bf and cooked chicken rice for lunch.

Sis ordered Swensens Sliders for dinner and Black velvet cake from ATD.

Ok last last (Raya)

 This was so impromptu!

Cousin was working nearby and decided to drop by! Probably his only 2nd time here. 

Thankfully managed to prepare a little evening tea session for him. 😁

Once he confirmed that he’s coming, I quickly foodpanda Fitri’s cupcakes. Wanted their bombolinis but limited flavours left so ordered their cupcakes instead. Yes yes I should get a proper tier stand (again)!

Took his photos cos I didn’t managed to snap a good one. So here’s Onde2 and T2 fruit tea. 🫖

 Yes now tgh Stay Home, been trying to clear things and put them out of sight. Anything la that can be hidden or stuffed and away from floor space or shelf space. Guess there’s still alot more to be done! Especially in the study. 

BUT, gotta air my bags today and just realised that I’ve nvr shot them wout the dust bags.

So here goes!

Not really la cos Marc Jacobs and Coach not even in the picture. Now looking at them, is it I should have bought YSL in another color? Hmmm. And that bookcase, need to find the time to clear and rearrange.

Of indoor picnic and father’s day treat

 So today’s ‘indoor camping/picnic’ was delish! 

I had no idea what time will the tea delivery arrives and it so happened when we were ‘hiding’ in the room. So the husb had to receive it.

He thought that my cousin sent the tea boxes but they were meant for him.

And that sparkling juice was from bro. Perfect!

The salmon sandwich was good, scone too.

The cheesecake looked a little off but it was delish! Probably the best burnt cheesecake I had! Had Tokyo Shokudo for dinner and it was Yums! Prolly the 1st time I had scallops ramen and the sis still wanna argue with me on the number of scallops I’ve eaten vs hers. 🙄

Coincidentally the husband bought him another set exactly a year ago. This keeps him occupied for long hours. ✌️

He completed the hunt under 15mins. But took some time to paint them dino.

Eh. Terselit. Stress buying. Loves their collection and this was my 3rd purchase. Happy that I’ve gotten a total of 4pcs now.

😏 Misses. I’ve missed flaunting my branded bags.

Missed putting on my Vans or Puma or Lucca Vudor or Tory Burch. Missed twirling in my dresses. Eh can’t remember the last time I even washed my tudung. 😳

Cos I’ve been staying home since the boy’s HBL. Yes. Not even down for groceries. Got the husband’s help and online deliveries to survive on. Been 3 full weeks la seh. 

1st week of hol down. I mean it’s okay no staycays but not even going out. Adoi. And I’ve not even started on Zumba since puasa and raya. Help.

Anyways, done with Treasure Hunt, paintings, crafts and his Indominus Rex Lego. Gotta do a little indoor camping today! ⛺️
