You and I

 

The more I found out about the whys, the more I freaked out knowing how much Allah has protected me all these times. Masha Allah. How we’re so different yet tried hard to stay. And you. I’ve happily made up the fact that you’ve moved on to other organisations then asal lak suddenly your face behind that mask appeared. 

It really creeps me when I know the lessons that someone temporary bring to my life. All you could say is thank you? Takde apology ke apa. Wow. Peace is so hard to maintain these days.

New term gonna start tmr. Not sure how to feel about it but we’re gonna go with the flow. Insha Allah.

Bet he had a great break. Thankful that the husb was on leave for a whole week.

Glad that we ended the break with staycay with grandpops. So memorable and so many funny moments.

Being thankful

 What an eventful day!

Probably the 1st time we stayed whole day at Mandai.

Didn’t know what to expect over at Rainforest Wild Asia and thought we could take the new ride. Eh it was in fact over at the East side. Ggrrrr. 

But think we enjoyed a lot though drenched in perspiration and that the husb couldn’t wait to get home cos so much reminded him of outfield. Heh.

Also the first time we watched 2 shows in a day!

Attended at least 2 talks too. Very fruitful seh. 

Not a wise choice to put ON my pink shoes. 

Husb cleaned it but I think he should wash them instead. 

Only realised how muddy they were when we were seated for the shows. 

Happy we covered everything and saw tigers, siamangs, deers, snakes, scorpions (seriously think they could easily escape) and countless birds as well as squirrels and even tikus laaaaaaa. Eeew. The old folks happy to see so many wild rambutans eh. 

Sesi mengetuk husb. I bought that tshirt and socks. And the sling bag’s free. ✌️

Grateful and thankful that the weather’s really good. Started cloudy then sun showed up. It rained mostly yesterday. Took Grab home and it has to break down before reaching. Thankful that it was near home and bus stop. Bus came less than 5 mins and we’re home safe and sound. 

Oh this feeling

 Probably the earliest movie we watched. 

Smack at 10 in the morning. 

Waited for them to even open the doors. 

Couldn’t recall much on the earlier ones but this one kinda hmm. Almost doze off a few times. Heh. 

Waited too long for the screen to show the movie. So if you’re able to see it at the back, good for ya!

Penance - end of Week 3

Such mega word. 

Ugh. Could almost smell week 4, means sch break’s ending. Gotta gear up starting tmr. And it’s already looking so packed. Oh no. 

Cousin spent so much on souvenirs. Paiseh cos we nvr travel so no souvenirs from us. So blessed to have an ever giving cousin. Also passed him his bday gift. 

Hope he could use for his future travels especially to Umrah. 

Since the boy had his staycay over at grandpops’, I dragged the husb to a malay movie. Eh ngantok cos movie was at 7.25pm. Wanted to grab some groceries but tak larat. 

So happy we finally had our hol excursion and it was really almost full day. Went to Lego activity, museum then town. Also got these randomly. 

First was bags now we moved on to shoes! How like that.

Week 3.5

 Week 3’s been too quick!

Though not over yet but the thought of lessons resuming next week kinda creeps me.

2nd staycay for the break though we just stayed here last Dec. For the runway view no less. And 2 nights. 

Tried the newly halal Pizza Maru. 

Bummed that no chix available but pizza was good. 

Staying at the airport requires lotsa walking. 

Even if we take the skytrain, you still gotta walk and walk. 

Husb was still on leave yesterday so we went to town. 

Gave in to nafsu and bought this kids carebear jeans size 170, prolly meant for those with height 170. So a tad long for me. 

No queue so we had to try. 

This almost flat cup was $11+.

But we had 3 flavours in there and lotsa kinds of toppings. 

Also queued for these! What boring initials cos me and husb and kid got all same letters. To represent our names.

Gonna be a packed weekend and even a more packed week ahead!  

Week 2 - Daisy me rollin’

 The highlight of week 2 sch hols.

Looking forward to visiting the flower market.

Gotten quite anxious seeing posts of it all over media and we ended up with 18 stalks (3 complimentary).

But we’re getting for a total of 4 pax. 

Probably gonna end up in 5 pax’s hands instead. 

Had a bit of waiting time tho we’re registered.

Got to know walk-ins was closed. 

So pretty pls. 

The ones not looking like flowers but pretty still.

And glad that we settled the presie for cousin too!

Ended the day with a feast from dad. 

Such a productive Saturday cos I cooked bf and lunch and did laundry too. Despite all that, achieved so much more. 

Week 1 recap

 Week 1 of precious school break SO over now. 

Pretty sure week 2-4 gonna fly by swiftly. 

Then, revisions will be in gear 1000th. 😁

While we’re thankful for the bright sunny day for Winnie the Pooh, the boys were cranky cos they perspired buckets.  Eyes narrowed, stomping their way to complete the stamps for the sticker redemption.

But pls eh after that they got their Timezone fix.

Weekend was spent over at the grandpops’ since we didn’t go over previously cos of staycay.

And in a long time spotted a white rooster.

Pretty eh. Eh you rooster or hen eh? 🤣

And today we completed another sticker redemption. And he’s happy lugging home his reward for his Sem 1 hard work. And I got my pretty princess socks too!

And got my groceries done as well. 

Such a productive Sunday. 💪

 Such a long wkend indeed.

Cos we went to collect report book on Friday, squeezed an impromptu ice cream sesh to close Term 2, celebrated jiran on Sat and checked in yesterday. 

In need of r e s t. 

But glad laundry’s done! 

Halal and so quiet on a Friday noon. 

That rocky rd was a tad bitter. 

Started early on Sat as early as 9.30am.

Had sampan for brunch. 

After that hearty brunch, we walked and walked locating lego blooms. Canopy has always been my fave.

Cold and filled with fresh flowers always. 

Then continued to walk and walk for the present hunt and took skytrains to take in the vortex view.

We didn’t pack until yesterday morning. 

Now that he’s older and we prolly gonna need to get extra bed by year end, we could just pack our own backpacks. ✌️

Our first time at this hotel and though location was superb, I felt a bit claustrophobic about the stay. 

Room’s spacious tho and kiblat was included! ❤️

Seriously gotta stop buying anymore luxury bags. I did okie. Cos recents gifts were luxury jewellery instead. Heh.

And bro, half yr gone just like that. 

Major changes next year Insha Allah. 

And we’re doing pretty fine ain’t we?

Like peace has finally returned and remember, in case no one told u, things will just come back full circle.
