Pancit can?

 It felt like it’s been too long since we went out cos of prelims, them being unwell.

Now that the prelims are over, we’ve decided to celebrate the dad proper. Yes both of them were sick on actual bday.

So we planned to actually go to 2 places but ended up going to more.

First stop was Suntec for Gopizza lunch, him buying his humongous coin and then go over to Orchard for Chagee and prayers. After that we ended up at Bugis cos I really wanted to get the HK bathmat. 

Too pretty can? So pink, so me. 

The pin gonna end up on my pink Jansport.

Last stop was not in our plans. But husb wanted to use his 20%. And I wanted this and I get to eat Bebek from Ayam Penyet Ria. And why pancit?

Cos I still ironed clothes and did laundry after we reached home. 😩

Past weeks been challenging.

Husb down with flu and the boy’s got hfmd for the first time ever, on his PSLE Eng oral date no less. 

HoD had to call me and arranged for a make-up session which happened to be today. And he’s unwell again with flu combo this time.

But Alhamdulillah.

Allah made it manageable for us. With the help of so many of course. 

Bro for the seamless tpt with additional perks (food), his HoD for being by our side till he completes his orals, the gfs for pushing us through. 

Beyond thankful and grateful. 

Now we’re just awaiting the prelims results before we could take a little breather and then get back to mugging for the final final lap, Insha Allah. 

And glad that we completed the teacher’s day gifts as well. Hope they know that they’re very much appreciated.

Lil perks

Trying to start afresh this brand new week.

In need of me time badly so badly that we took many many buses to reach our destination.

And also started using cousin’s miffy x SIA bottle. 

Too pretty to be chucked aside. 

May the days ahead stay sweet and made smooth for everyone around me. 🤲

Different

 

The week just zoomed by eh.

Though short week, but it’s a different kind.

Visited the GP 3 days in a row. 

Boys were home almost the whole week. 

I felt like I was just dragging myself through the days.

Let’s pray the week ahead will return to normalcy. 

Can’t wait to actually chill and reset tomorrow.

45th - redirections

 Amidst the PSLE chaos, Allah wants us to slow down.

Went to the doctor 3 days in a row.

First the son, then the husb and then the son again.

Masha Allah. 

And yes, he had to miss the major psle oral but at least he managed to complete the malay. His HOD has been of a great help calling in to check and keeping me updated on the follow-up.

Finding the greater blessings in our everyday.

Thankful for the support and love and lots of rezeki too. 🥺

So grateful for last weekend’s walk with the fam.

Dad’s sandals broke so me and husb had to cycle out of the park to grab him new slippers.

I think I did rationally better now thinking of solutions and ways rather than swallowing myself in disappointments on why things don’t go my way.

We then walked from the garden to Westgate. 

With the boy coming down with fever.

Alhamdulillah fever’s getting less but his throat’s still in bad condition. 

His presents this year. 

Hope he knows he’s fully loved. 

Still can’t get over Labubu’s curly fur. 

Impromptuness

 It all started with the bf bestie saying she wanted me time.

Takde maknanye me time ye cos it involves me. 

Then takde maknanye we time cos our kakak tagged along!

Freebies after going round and round. But we probably took an hour. I even managed to run over to collect my pink chagee picnic mat.

Yasss. Dahla 4.30pm message2 to meet. And no time to think much, got ready and went out.

Wanted to eat at Ion but somehow ended here at Newton.

Been ages but food was yums.

Loves

 It’s been… busy? Packed? Back to back?

Loves a beautiful intimate wedding. Very far from a chaotic boyan one. This one so tenang, can eat many rounds, got kambing golek, got endless ice cream. I could even try almost all of the menu. Best!

So grateful for the invite! 

Stumbled upon pretty flowers by the road lagi. 💜

And I also love peaceful bus rides home. 

No more berangan in bus but just soaking in the peace. 

Despite a handful of stuff for the family. 

My lunch of ikan and petai, balls for the husb, bread for the boy, oh my retail therapy and some daiso buy. 

This was impromptu but it’s under $200. Worth it? 🩷
