Before anything else, I’m just going to declare that the next big party of his shall be in 16 years’ time!
Cos we’re so done with party planning!
Exhausted from goodie bag ideas, catering, cake order and deco!
Cake from Ecreative. Quite nervous ordering first time from them because we paid COD.
But Alhamdulillah it was a simple sponge cake with his choice of design.
Number 5 candle from Batam.
Brachiosaurus balloon from our favourite party store.
The goodie bags for the house party.
Consists of Ikea/ Daiso cups, Monster Inc. or Mickey Mouse little forks and some jelly sticks, choc wafer bars and BeeBee or Double Decker snacks.
All of his presents this year.
Alhamdulillah for this rezeki.
Then last minute party crasher came with a gift too.
His best friend from school.
All unwrapped and unboxed!
Food from Orange Clove and mom cooked roti boyan, mee hoon goreng and pudding.
May Allah bless mom with good health.
Alhamdulillah I am so glad that the BFFs able to join.
After 2yrs of not meeting up.
Missed them terribly.
And they even brought gifts from 🇻🇳 and 🇰🇷!! ❤️

It’s been five years!
As a mother.
The good the bad the sweet and the bitterness of it all.
Alhamdulillah. Not sure if I’ll be given the chance to deliver again but I’m thankful and grateful to be where I am now. 🤲
We have distributed his birthday goodies on Monday and glad that the kids loved it.
And we even got to hear it first hand when his girl friend said ‘I opened already, I’m happy!’ 😍 We had a simple birthday dinner celebration with the grandparents and he has no presents to unwrap. All gotta wait till the weekend!
Sis came back from her KL trip and check out these goodies for us!
Yay! Loves all these random gifts from trips. ❤️

Feeling stupid
Such an eventful Saturday!
Couldn’t sleep cos had Milk Tea last night.
So listened to OLG till 2+am.
Woke up early for Subuh and didn’t return to sleep as wanted to book tickets.
When the kid’s up we got ready to go Jewel for lunch cos the husband wanted Saap Saap Thai. I wanted to go town to see the F1 merch but so happy to see 1 at Jewel.
Crazily bought a $80 T-shirt under Mercedes for TeamLH.
After cooking dinner, I unwrapped the $80 T-shirt and shocked to see an unsewn part of the sleeve. Could tell husband was pissed because he already told me not to buy the T-shirt cos too pricey. Gah. But he went back to Jewel to exchange it for me. Sobs.
Guess no anniversary gift this year. Bah.
Yummy tom yum but couldn’t finish the noodle.
Was hungry again after a few rounds at Jewel.
Husband confidently believed his bff that there’s no more Pikachu girl but I told him there’s still stocks available. He said he will get for me if there’s stocks.
So there you go!
And the Snorlax peanut cookies halal!
Now where to put this couple!
Since the husband couldn’t take me to watch Aladdin in the cinema, I told him to buy me the vcd. And it’s finally OUT!
Then got Buy 2 Free 1 promo, he got the Pikachu for himself and WonderrPark for the kid.
Quite productive too that I managed to redeem my Tote Bag for my reward points.
Gonna be a busy week ahead!
Would like to chill a bit tomorrow can? 💆♀️

Onederful Birthday/ Jollibee
Hello weekend!
Excited to welcome the weekend although sis is away.
We had dinner outside today which is rare.
We had Jollibee after so long. Can’t remember when was the last time I had them.
It was such a long queue cos only one counter to order but the food was prepared quite quick. Alamak then when we were about to finish dinner, there’s a group of ladies kickboxing right in front of the eateries.
So glad we were part of Thea’s Onederful Birthday.
And her birthday’s just a week before our kid.
Such a beautiful expensive birthday summer dessert table!
And those cupcakes so yummy!
The kid’s finished up the popcorn all by himself. 😏
Michie’s my 3rd work partner and I cannot emphasized enough how blessed I am to have superb partners and that I’m so much still in touch with every single one of them. ❤️

Annual Visit to the Zoo!
It was so hazy yesterday that we wondered if the zoo trip should be cancelled. Alhamdulillah however today it was a beautiful day for a visit to the zoo despite the slight haze.
We couldn’t really smell or see the haze within the zoo but only from afar above the lake.
Managed to catch the boy’s favourite Rainforest show as well as Splash Safari.
And we didn’t even have to buy lunch because Mom brought fried noodles and curry puffs while I made and brought Hotdog buns and Fried Wings.
Such a team effort! Heh.
This is such a pretty cover-up of the upgrading works outside the entrance.
So insta worthy!
We ate our brunch at the Free Range Orang Utan.
Took the tram ride 3x.
Then proceeded to River Safari.
So lucky today because both Kai Kai and Jia Jia were out having their meals.
So managed to snap good photos of them.
This was the first time the kid’s able to take the River Quest ride.
So he saw his Flamingos.
A smaller breed of flamingos.
So thankful that we could visit the zoo annually because of husband’s complimentary corporate tickets.
There are other attractions like Flyer but I’ve always been a fan of the zoo since young. Husband bought the photo we took with the Orang Utan, bought a book for the kid, a Giraffe pencil case and sis bought the fan at only $8!
The other items we bought at 20% discount! 💕

B r e a t h e
How can the husband be snoring away after gulping Thai Milk tea? 🤷♀️
September’s always keeping me busy with the kid’s birthday.
All those mind cracking for goodie bags lah, cake lah, catering and more goodie bags. Now I can breathe a little. Because the kids’ goodies are settled!
Alhamdulillah! We’ve gotten the girls’ goodies from Isetan sale and it’s worth it because they’ll be getting 2 items each all under $5!
We got stressed because we couldn’t find any for the boys. Out of so many choices of toys.
Glad that we got it done today at Toys’r’us and no packing needed! All settled!
Decided to browse for toy cars but eventually saw and bought punching bop for them boys!
What’s really cool was we managed to find Dinosaur ones! So apt to go with his theme this birthday. And we managed to find all 12 Dinosaurs. Otherwise we had to choose tigers and dolphins instead.
Those Disney Doorables were on sale!
3 for $8 and just nice there’re 6 girls.
Added the acrylic painting for them too.
This is what we got for the boys!
It’s $9.99 each but there’s Buy 1 Free 1 so such a perfect pricing!
The girls’ packagings not so appealing but I hope they’re happy with the contents instead!
Pretty sure the boys will be excited to be receiving them Toys’r’us presents! 🎁

Friday the thirteenth
It’s Friday the thirteenth. A special date for me cos the ex boyfriend asked me to be his girlfriend on a Friday the 13th. And hey, I just watched a random video on IG tv about a lady who bumped into her 1st boyfriend (a cleaner now) and she was with her husband (CEO).
The husband was shocked at her ‘taste’ for having dated a cleaner. BUT as he said she should be lucky to have married him the CEO, she reminded him of how she had been there for him and been his strength in times of need and frustration at life. Of course being a ‘model’ video the husband quickly realised that what the wife’s said are all true. It could be totally the opposite of the husband in reality like he could have argued back that he didn’t give up on them eventually and that’s probably why they’re still together.
But the main moral of the video is to remind oneself of how you’ve reached where you are now. I’m not going to be the wife that said my husband’s lucky to have married me because that’s for him to say to me. I am in fact so lucky to have went through so much that meeting my husband was the best thing ever. And what we went through together made us who we are now. Allah knows what’s best for each one of us.
Do not ever be too proud and say that you have what others don’t because you have never ever walk in their shoes. You know nuts about what the other person has been through.
Be kind. Always. A reminder to myself.
To always be grateful, thankful and count my blessings. 🤲

A little bit of history - Swissotel the Stamford
Trying to do an entry using the husband's lappie.
Hope I still got the typing skills hah after what 5 years of unemployment. haha.
Anyways this post will be all about our staycay at Swissotel the Stamford.
As you might know, we have been staying on same hotels for our little getaways.
But this time, we decided to try Swissotel which happened to be cousin's fave.
I am aware of the cases of guests falling off due to the height of hotel. Then I read that a fall was from 53rd floor while two were from the 60th. So it has never really crossed my mind to actually stay there. What more we booked for two nights la.
The corridors seemed dim but it's the usual as per other hotels.
Only that this one has a circular corridor hence you may not be able to have a clear sight of what's coming ahead. However, we were lucky cos we bumped into our housekeeper a few times so that's not creepy.
We got a room at a corner before the corridor turned on the 53rd floor.
Mind you MBS Infinity pool's at 57th. So it's really a bonus to have an amazing view for our stay. The best view I must say. Of the harbor which includes MBS, Flyer, Gardens by The Bay and Marina Barrage. I'm still not over the night view. We could even see the Supertree Light Show and the MBS laser show from our room’s balcony.
Balcony. It’s not every time we get a balcony for our staycations.
Imagine a balcony on your 53rd floor room. With no grills. And a glass wall that allows you to look down. It was rather narrow too and there’s a notice that says max 3 persons allowed at each one time. Oh and before you step out, you have to be careful in not tripping over the base of the sliding door. And since you are on the 53rd floor, it’s really chilly to be out there standing. The wind’s just too strong. Not good for people who have drank.
Had a hard time trying to sleep on the 1st night. Then I find that the layout of the furniture’s rather weird. The bed senget the TV on the bed side. The husband ngigau too. Luckily I was messaging with the best friend so I wasn’t really feeling scared. It’s all after midnight.
We took the Duck tour the next day and got to know that right in front of our room is the War Memorial monument. Where some of the urns were buried under.
That explained the weird dream the husband had till he ngigau. About Japanese soldiers.
Thankfully we were all rather tired on the 2nd night that we managed to sleep off. The kid had slept soundly though for both nights after sessions of swimming.

This is the view from the Pool level on the 8th floor.
And that’s the monument right there.
But the view. The sunrise really right in front of us too!
I was a little late to catch the sunrise this was past 7am already.
But afterall that’s been written, I guess it’s no harm to stay at least a night in Swissotel.
For the amazing view.

Belated birthday celebration
Usually for Sep birthday celebrations, we will not go for short getaways.
So today managed to celebrate the sil belated birthday with DIY food from Fortune Food.
And I must say a pretty unique cake from Cake Avenue.
Her birthday gift this year which I bought alone over at Jewel.
An update on the staycation next up on the blog!
The balloon looked rather small compared to the one in the website.
But it tasted good I must say.
Probably better if we have chosen chocolate for the cake flavour.
Our hands busy with prepping the Laksa, Popiah and Ayam Koro (steamed buns).
The servings’ really huge that we weren’t able to finish them.
An update on the staycation next up on the blog!

Duck tour II
So the kid’s request for Duck Tour has been granted.
It’s really expensive but we locals got 20% off.
So tics for three of us came to $95+.
And I think we got the same guide as 2017!
We queued quite early rather than just 15mins before boarding so we were erm first in line.
We sat 2nd row from the front as the last time we sat nearer to the back it was hot.
The engine’s at the back.
And the guide had to ‘tegur’ that it was clever of us for husband to hold my LV Neverfull during the big splash into the water.
The kid’s smart too to change window seat with me so that he won’t get wet. 🙄
If I’m not mistaken we took in the afternoon last time but today we took the last ride at 6pm!
It’s beautiful as we managed to catch a glimpse of the sun setting.
See the reflection of the sun setting on MBS? 💕
❤️❤️❤️
Spot my favourite island store!

Swissotel the Stamford
Staycation begins! What a first time it was at Swissotel!
We’ve been staying at Conrad (x2), Crowne Plaza (countless times), MBS (x2) and now decided to try cousin’s favourite hotel. Paid extra for the harbour view and oh my!
We were given the 53rd floor room and the view’s amazing!
Such a pretty sight especially at night with the lights up!
Too much of the sky because my legs went jelly at the balcony trying to snap the view.
Could even watch the Supertree light show from our room! 💕

Care
“Students don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
After sending the kid to school, I risked my time to go to Jewel to grab the husband a Snorlax. It’s a new item at Pokèmon Centre.
Luckily the husband could end early and accompanied me home.
Alhamdulillah still got ample time to rest and even a quick BK lunch.
His whole Snorlax collection.
Time to pack the luggage! 🧳
And what we got for the teachers this year.
