First 🖤 - 25th July 2020

So we did it today!

Rather inpromptu although we planned for weeks?

Wanted to go tmr when the sis cld babysit the kid but last minute decided to go today instead. And oh what a wait!

The queue to enter took us abt an hr. But it was worth it!

Because Alhamdulillah there’s stocks available.

Never thought that I would be able to own a Chanel in my life.

I’ll let you know the justifications or rather reasons on this particular treat by the beloved husband. But yeah although it was quite a wait to enter the boutique, the experience was rather good. The SA wasn’t pushy or hurrying you.

Would say she’s rather honest in giving her opinion. 

So what exactly did I get? 

The timeless classic WOC with gold chain.

It was the display set and why la I settled for the display when there’d be many fingers and hands and try-ons with the WOC.

The husband’s insisted that it’s way nicer (probably more luxurious) than the one with the silver chain. SA also pandai saying in malay Emas nicer because I had my 3 gold rings on and my Gucci watch’s in gold too.

Personally I felt that it’s more monchar (striking) but I know it’s nicer.

So here goes my first ever Chanel piece 🖤.

Alright just in case I’ll be thinking how crazy it was to splurge on a WOC, here’s the reasons on why we decided to get one despite the price increase.

- No staycations or trips this year and next year too;

- this is my performance bonus and advanced anniversary gift;

- the kid’s going to big school soon so no more splurge in future;

- the husband said he’ll get me one if he’s promoted and he did Alhamdulillah.

To end this historically sweet day, the sis brought back Bombolinis from Fluff Bakery.

Woah! Didn’t realise that I have published a thousand posts!

Halfway through the break now but the kid’s done nothing much except the usual routine of revisions. And screen time. 

And and and finally the decor’s up in his room.

Overfiltered but loves the hanging decors. 😍

He chose the rainbow colors macrame and I got them stuff from Shopee.

Except the wood Reminder Quote which I got from UK.

That Dream Big only costs less than $5!

Alhamdulillah! Managed to almost complete my tasks for the break.

Feeling so tawar hati to go anywhere except Mom’s.

My hook rack’s arrived yesterday so can’t wait to hang the new decor in his room. 

Oh and next week’s Raya? 😳

Loving my new mat from Shein.

Not only cute but so soft to step on.

Gonna try to hunt for similar mats at Shopee.

Collected our funpack too!

Initially felt that the design wasn’t that fantastic cos no MBS or Flyer but then I saw that it was done by the Association for the Visually Handicapped and I was bummed for feeling that way. And when I showed Mom she was gleeing that mine was a nicer design than hers.

Hate myself for being easy to feel dissatisfied when I should be contented instead.

But yeah guess it’s not so obvious to be a patriotic bag which means I can easily reuse the bag for many other purposes! 

Hmmmmm should I, shouldn’t I?

Term 3 Break

The break’s here but no plans like staycation plans ke trip plans ke.

 Not even Sentosa plans. 😩 Instead cleaning the house plans!

Wipe windows, clean fans and wipe everything else off.

At least no rush for the coming week but need to bring the kid along for groceries shopping.

Been wanting to have Basque burnt cheesecake when the SIL came with a choc one!

Sedap and now i’m thinking abt it again.

Yesterday the sis dragged me out to fix her watches.

And Sephora’s not in the list BUT I spent $70 there! 😬

Now that I can’t really put on my Chanel lippies, had to buy a lip balm.

She gave me her BBW sanitiser in the pink casing. 😍

And yay! His air tpt done! So now left with his Malay pantun.

Tunggu ilham je la baru bole pikir.

So many plans for Aug and Sep.

Decluttering

While others are busy moving to bigger spaces, I’ve only begun decluttering my space. 

Ordered quite a few items from Shopee for a start.

Gonna add new decor to the kid’s room because his hanging stuff are all over.

The new items all delivered except the main hook rack.

So gotta wait for a while now.

First up! Our wardrobe hangers changed and organised and looking oh so neat!

Will throw mom’s hand me down hangers (sssshhh!) cos they’re old plasticky and permanently dusted. Loving these new velvet hangers.

So glad that I heeded the husband’s choice of colour this time!

Contemplating to totally get rid of all the plastic hangers - the better ones saved to hang my washed laundry. Let’s settle the rooms before moving on to the most dreaded part of the house. The kitchen. 

Finally transferred the roses to the ‘vase’.

Sitting pretty despite losing its bloom soon.

Sadly one of the succulents did not survive and turning yellow rather quickly.

But these two, the husband even bought a make up brush for them! 😁

Met the Poly best friend today to celebrate her ultra belated birthday.

Didn’t know there’re so many halal eateries over at Hillion.

Had waffles on their half priced Tuesdays.

Can I look forward to the weekend already? 😬

Back to Jewel

The husband had to wfh today so we had to wait for him to finish his zoom meeting.

Because of CB, the kid’s outgrown most of his jeans/ pants and even Crocs.

So the dad promised to get him a new pair today.

Such a view and how I missed my fave place so much.

So great to be back! ❤️

Tonight’s ootd of course with Vans and my Lubna dress from Zalora.

Plus Pokémon Centre’s bag.

I was with the husband in the Study when the kid’s ran in.

There was a delivery and I told the husband to receive cos I thot I heard someone gave salam. And I know that I wasn’t expecting anymore delivery.

Hence, the husband’s surprise delivery terbantot. 😂

The husband saw this and I knew he wanted it so I bought it for him.

And he ungkit la seh that he wanted the previous one then Mak was with us and nagged him instead for wasting money. Haha.

Yesterday we went to BIL’s. Then SIL packed us her Nasi Lemak as the husband ordered Pizza Hut. Once home, Bro msg saying he has extra Nasi Kuning set.

And promptly sent it to us. 

Alhamdulillah rezeki. We had it for dinner. 

So we had Nasi Lemak for lunch today!

Complete eh with Ikan for me and even ikan bilis and peanuts. ❤️

Besides Nasi Lemak, SIL packed for us our fave Bubur Chacha la seh!

Loves it when it’s cold so I had to be patient while cooling it in the fridge overnight.

My 1st Shellout

Such a long Saturday. We went out early to Bugis to settle the exchange.

And husband bought me a new Shogun! And 3 Dino eggs for the kid.

Next gonna search for new cooking utensils.

So tempted to get the cool colours set from Shopee but I dun need many.

Thankfully bought my new potato peeler from Pasar for just $2.90.

Of course gotta get Cinnamon Rolls when at Bugis.

The peanut butter jelly was weirdly yummy.

Aha. So this is my 1st ever Shellout. Treat from Bro and SIL.

 Delivered by the old neighbour.

I think we finished it in under 20mins. 😬

It’s like all the seafood cravings done and checked! ✅ 

Sis blanja Kreyv. Chicha Thai sauce is spicy and sedap.

And she also ordered all time fave jeruk mangga for us too.

Lama seh tak makan.

Been so long since I put on my Vans.

I think I’m gonna get more of them especially the Olskool ones. 👟

Long weekend ahead and followed by a short week!

Exciting indeed. Because weekend’s fully planned also for the next weekend!

Woke up a lil late this morning cos I had a dream abt gg JB.

So weird. 

Woke up had to do laundry and cook lunch then prep for school.

Eh bz la today. Cos the bro called then the sis called.

Before all that got a call from unknown number.

Caller: Hello, I’m sending your parcel.

Me: Parcel? Oh is it for Bukit Batok?

C: NS13

Me: How come you nvr ring the bell?  No lei. No one at the door.

C: Which floor you at?

Kecoh kan. And all along I thought it was an uncle. Rupanye melayu la seh. 🤭

Unit mana la dia pegi. Slamat takde org bukak.

Yaaaaas! My Shein’s order came today!

Wasn’t expecting at all cos no alerts.

Spoilt for choices at Shein cos so many varieties of clothes la you can get.

All these for $74+ (free delivery above $70) so each abt $12+ je.

I bought 4 jalan2 tops (flowery and polka dots) and 2 sleepwear. 

I’m so deprived of shopping that I find it thrilling and therapeutic to shop at the kedai at pasar where they sell organising baskets just like Daiso only cheaper!
So walked out of the store with a big bag. 🤦‍♀️
And I’m so motivated now to organise my wardrobes and fridge.
