The meet-up of the polymates was filled with laughter, sick memories and more laughter! Hee. We spent about three hours catching up at Breeks.
Well, what do you know?
It's been almost ten yrs since we knew each other.
Time flies that fast.

This morning sis asked me too look out of the window and this was what I saw.
I quickly took out BB and carefully put it outside my window and snapped it.

Today's Lunch time was significantly diff.
Shorty dragged me to a concert, Addy Cradle, to be exact.
Listening to the heart-thumping music made my tummy full somehow.
I bet Shorty was in heavens for that good one hour plus.
Tsk tsk...
As the Prof compared Addy to Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, he bowed shyly.
And I thot only the Mats wld attend the gig but I must say the crowd was a good mix of PRCs, Indians and a handful of Malays regardless of age.

Aglio Olio Oh No

Sunday starts super early for me. Even Mr Gee bb me early today. :D
Sent Mak to BP Lrt cos she heading to Expo at 730am.
Dropped by Mobil to grab newspapers as well.
Once reached home, sis began her mission to whip up Aglio Olio.
Played cheat cos Mak already chopped the garlic for her.
I had to chop the prawns for her too.

So here's the end product. But seriusly BFF, we whipped up a much better one!

Weekender

No, I did not have any plans for the weekend but yesterday Songe msg me abt going to Funan. But it ended with him merely asking ONLY. Hmph. Well, the reason was when I reached Funan just now, I saw Abg Matmat instead! Eeeeks. So had a brief catch-up with him as well.

Anyways, both of them managed to grab their 1.8k toys each. Hopefully, they will make full use of it. After Abg Matmat went back, Songe and I had our dessert at MOF. Yummy! Unagi!!

BFFs @ Carousel - Bday Bash

And so the day came and I was excited not to be receiving presies but to be spending time with all FOUR BFFs in full force. Normally, there's always one who couldn't make it but this time, everyone made the effort to come despite their huge commitments. Well, of course lah since the date was set at Carousel Royal Plaza on Scotts. I've made the reservations more than two weeks ago and I'm sure every single of the BFFs was looking forward to the date.

I've kinda cheated them that the hi-tea gonna start at 3pm instead of the real 3.30pm because knowing them so well, they would only arrived at 4pm then. So we were early for the FIRST time ever and had to wait for the lounge to be opened. Hee.

I was pleased that the BFFs came in all black (as requested by me but i tink it's just their fave color anyways) with me being the ODD one out in PINK. So THANK YOU for the FOSSIL belt and CITIGEMS chain, the pick-up and send-off, the fun and laughter and most imptly, for being the bestest BFFs I could ever wish for!

tHe Past

Hee. What a long weekend it was! Filled with people from my past and it's a wonder. It all began on Sat. Bro sent us to NUH to visit Obek and I don the mask before entering the ward. While trying to locate Obek's bed, a familiar voice called my name. I was shocked for a while. Who could it be that recognise me in my half-covered-with-mask-n-specs face? Turned out to be my sec sch bestie lah. Whom I have not officially met for about ten yrs. Hee.

On Sunday after watching Taufik, met up with Syiq whom I haven't met for about three mths. Had a gd catch-up with her and I hope it'd turn all well for you babe. No worries la. We walked like almost the whole stretch of town and it's kinda peaceful since most shops were closed but surprisingly quite a few remained open.

On Monday (became the day I was looking forward to), had that movie date with Mr Gee. ;) He had his KFC lunch and instead of getting me one egg tart, he bot the whole set of six. So he irritated me by asking me "Nak makan egg tart?" umpteen times throughout the movie. And I wasn't aware that he has actually placed the box of tarts in between us. I thot it was all along packed in his bag still. Duh. Nevertheless, thanks Mr Gee. U know for what. :D

When we were at Wisma, I bumped into Noelle. YEAH! Been so long since I last saw her and we were supposed to meet on 26th Feb. So had a super brief catch up cos she was wondering and blurring as usual. hee.

That's not it! We reached JE almost 8pm when the corner of my eyes caught a familiar face. Although I haven't met him in person ever before, I was surprised to see Dawson! Hee. He was BFF's fren in the first place. He knew Mr Is as well as SFTP. That's how small my world is. I knew Dawson since I was in poly but I have nvr ever met him. So almost ten years down the road, we're fated to see each other in person. Haha. Dawson commented that Mr Gee looks berg and like a teacher. (^_^)"

So that sort of wraps up my long weekend of pleasant bumpers. Anyways, sis finally bot me my bday cake last night and I shared with her n dad only.

Out of Focus? NOT

I received a phone call from Songe and I kept scolding him 'Your head ar your head ar' until he said look up. And I really did look up, literally at my ceiling.*smacks my wide forehead. After which he said look outside. Haha. Then I saw him at the counter...Like a dream come true...Pukes! Anyways, I had a great time catching up with him and Allan with his new toy and not forgetting the super early lunch loh. Hmph!

The other time I was telling Mr Gee how getting out of focus I am and he kinda bombarded me with questions. Gulp. Now only I realised why I am feeling that I should get back on track. The track I have been on as always seems straight but now it's filled with bends. And with these bends, it made my life a tad more interesting and exciting. A straight track does not always brings you the destination you wished for but could have a dead end instead in the case of mine. You see. My life used to be all about things that I do not know if I could achieve armed only with my thinning faith. But now things seem very different. I am comfortable in my own skin. Not much worries in my mind and the best part would be being surrounded by BFFs and all the wonderful people I could ever ask for. They showed me that there is definitely more to life than all that. And I'm beginning to really appreciate this ongoing bliss. :D

This is the famous Pulau Dayang Bunting. If you look closely, you could see the shape of a pregnant lady lying on her back. Her head on the right, her boobs followed by her pregnant stomach.
I'm amazed.

Upon cable car take-off, someone actually farted and got dad cringing and pinching his nose instantly. Mom braced the smell with her super shades. :) Welcome to my family!

Short short short

Langkawi trip was done and over with. Was chaotically fun being the first proper hol with the parents. Thankfully, Bro did not tag along otherwise it'd be even draggier but with more laughter nonetheless. Hee.

It was my fastest flight so far compared to Japan, Perth and Melbourne. Obviously. And the simple meal made it even faster. Once landed on the island, I could literally feel the sun burning on my skin. Gonna tan like mad. :( Once passed the customs, we spotted the driver and before we knew it, we already reached Langkasuka resort.

We did not have any plans made for the rest of the day. Then decided to go out to Pantai Cenang for dinner. Settled for Janggus and had our first Langkawi dinner. hee. Did abit of jalan2 then headed back to the resort.

Itinerary:

Bro picked us up from T2 and we had lunch at Geylang. Rushed home, did a lil unpacking and went over to a private party at Sixth Ave. Had a feast there!

Sunday was spent at Robinsons Expo Sale and we hopped by to check out the Burberry's sale despite sis alr bot me my 1st Burberry. Anyways, bot my first Steve Madden shoes at the expo sale and was quite contented. :)

I'm missing my work! :(

Bday Eve

Last night, sis came home and hung a paperbag on my legs. How? Cos I was lying on the couch with my legs raised. Me being a spoilt brat, refused to take a look at the bag whining if it's not LV, I wldn't wana see it. So the paperbag just hung there for more than 5mins. Hee.

Decided to check it out and saw a Burberry's paperbag. Took a peep inside and saw a gift box like those meant for clothes. So I kept mumbling Hah, baju ar, later cannot fit how, baju ar.....But when I ripped everything apart, finally I saw a tiny bag. And it smells so so good.

I've kinda opened all my advanced presents but I'm saving this last one for the day itself. :) Thanks Babe! Segan la. It's been cutely wrapped, so sayang to rip it. Hee.

And EC was nice enough to comment that I looked CUTE with my one-big-one-small eyes (I gave up on my glasses). Thanks hor!

And worst, my bus uncle bubbled today. He din turn up and so I took public home. Yes. With my one-big-one-small eyes. Duh!

Not only that, when I returned home, the house was empty. Mom left her uncooked ingredients in the kitchen. Called her hp but it was off. The parents had AWOL. Nice! Bro decided to leave me alone too. Perfect! Now I'm hungry. Urgh.

Heard footsteps and suddenly there came hard knocks on my door. I shrieked. Thinking it was Dad. But when I opened the door, I saw a sec sch kid. Thankfully, he's cute. And he brought along my Vitagen. But we debated at the door cos he said next wk will be CNY but then it's the week after ma. Haiz.

And the best part is....I haven't start packing. (^_^)
