Never Ever

Never Ever. This week I missed my tpt the whole week. Yes, all 5 days of it. Mon supposedly had a brisk walk but cancelled and bot PSBF her bday presie instead. hee. Aft that, met up with Ah Nian. An impromptu meet-up. :D SO enjoyed (not so) Mee Bandong and (this one YUP) Milo dinosaur at Al-Ameen. She passed me her souvenir from China and I'm so happy that she got me that Terracota Warrior! But I can't put it at home so it's up at my cubicle's window. Thanks Ah Nian!


On Tue, had a brief dinner with PSBFs. And so glad that both of them have good news! One with the new love and another gonna be a mom soon! Alhamdulillah! Super duper delighted for both of them!! New bed and I slept like a log.



On Wed we had our weekly brisk walk with much chaos as usual. heee. Rain rain pls go away! Aft the walk, attended the Exam Dinner and was fed bee hoon. So much for the brisk walk! hehe.



On Thur dated with Joce for My Sister's Keeper at Lot 1. Damn sob and touching story and I wept silently. Until my tummy decided to growl as loud as the symphony of mucus in the theatre. That's the first! GROSS! haha..



And then Fri came. Somehow, it became the day I've been looking forward to. Yes! Finally met Mr Gee. Gosh! Finally after all those fb, msn and smses. And! My parents know his family. Great just great! Come on FATE! Bring it on!

Best part is, the weekend has yet to start! :) And I'd be collecting my passport next week!!!

It's a Wrap!

Sunday began early for me. I dragged sis for our long overhauled Brisk Walk she promised to go with me on the Sunday morning before sunrise to be exact. And so we started walking towards Brickland and stumbled upon the beautiful sunrise and a swamp of birds flying in the morning sky. Too bad I did not have my hp with me to capture the scene. hee. When we reached Bt Batok road, we were rushing along the contractors at the new ITE site. Gosh. On a Sunday, I wondered when their off day will be. After completing the hour or so walk, I took out my dusty Yoga mat and tried to do at least 50 crunches but hey, I fell asleep with my Ipod on. haha! So much for the upbeat songs playing. Duh!

From 7 to almost 10 before Mr Gee finally smsed me morning, it kinda took forever. Gosh! Why am I waiting for his smses these days. Oh oh! Haiz.. Anyways, got ready to go Jemputan with BFF. Since it's raining and she wanted to fetch me in cab, I have decided to be a brave girl for once and fetched BFF and her mom to go to the Jemputan at Yew Tee. So drove alone ( I so hated it but I think now I'm enjoying it instead) to JWest and back at Yew Tee. When we reached, happy that we could meet both bride and groom altho we did not really wish them personally. hee. And after the wedding, sent BFF's fren back to Yew Tee mrt and drove BFF and her mom home. Suddenly I found myself smiling and enjoying my self-drive home journey.

When I reached home, parents wanted to drag me out again. To send them to Sungei Kadut. Of all places! Since they wanted to buy bro a new bed as his current one has broken into two. So we went to Wirhadja for dad's new cabinet, Novena and then Brighton. Got three beds from Brighton! Yeah! I felt bad for my parents cos at this age, I am still depending on them for basic necessity like my sleepnest. But the good thing is, I have the freedom to choose my bed design! Can't wait for the new bed to be in! Finally after so many years, I'm gonna get a change of bed! Weeeeeeeee!

And I briskly walked (again!) to Lot 1 after the Sungei Kadut trip and withdrew some cash. Ordered Pizza Hut when home cos owed the family a treat. Another BFF called around 6+ and the Pizza came so our conversation was cut short. hee. Njoyed the pizza with only the parents as both siblings out.

7pm to 9pm the clock must have stopped as I took a nap but was awaken by sis requesting for GAP vouchers for her Bday. Urgh! Yes, it took forever for the hour hand to reach 10. And close to 10pm FINALLY Mr Gee smsed saying he's on the way home....heeeeee! But yup, I went to the 'Customs' way ahead of him altho I wld have waited for him to go tog. hehe....

So that kinda wrap up my weekend! :D

Impromptu Date

Wasn't expecting to go out at all and was thinking on how to spend my Sat. But Songe sms early in the morn wanting to date me out for shopping! Window shopping obviously. And so treated him at Swensens and we had our sinful Fondue amidst his prob. ;P

Then we walked from orchard to orchard central (thank God we cldnt find the roof gdn otherwise Songe's jersey will be torn in pieces by then) to PS and decided to take 64 to IKEA. And I bot a new pal named Mr Hippo! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

FINALLY...

YES! Finally, Big Boss got his treat. And to complete the meal, Boss sponsored desserts consisting of assorted cakes and fruit tarts. Wanted to pay but she rejected saying that NOT EVERYTIME GOT SUCH THING. hehe... THANKS!

So Big Boss, can I work in peace now? U've got your pizza and I've got my deal. :D

I'm feeling UTTER BLISS...Thanks BABES! And Syiq!! For completing my super duper long weekend! Alright, we'll go shopping one sweet day! heee.....

the HIGH Life

Shopping on Sat was splendid! We started at Bugis and ambitiously tried to walk over to town after the stopover at Raffles City Shopping Centre. However, upon reaching Dhoby Ghaut we gave in to the scorching sun despite the pure choc in our hands. So we took the train to Orchard instead. hee!

YES, I've splurged....FINALLY. And it felt so damn good!

Babe got her RI jeans and we both each bot Dorothy Perkins Black skinny at $26...What a steeeeal! Dorothy Perkins, Warehouse, Ms Selfridge and Topshop having 50% discount and a further 10% with UOB card. Coooool!

We did not have our lunch until 4+ when we reached Far East... So we had Pastamania and then proceeded to have our Manicure and Pedicure done....Before that, I received a surprise call from SFTP...That was a FIRST. hee.

Dropped by DFS and then proceeded back to Wheelock and ION for the final phase. hee. Took the train and gave up at Redhill to catch a cab...haha...That was indeed a shopping marathon in so long and I must thanked the babe for it! Ya ya..We shall start LATER next time eh...haha

Btw met so many pple in town...That's something new. Normally, it'd be none! First saw PSBF in Taka...Then saw Im N Mahani near Far East and finally Nity at ION. Yup! Nity the Ria DJ! She was the one who spotted me and we caught up a lil. We even exchanged number.

Come Sunday, was pretty excited for the Impak Maksima! Furthermore, ER smsed me saying that she enjoyed it thoroughly. Bro decided to send us there by Wira as I guess he's too free. So we reached rather early...Walked over to Marina to kill time.

When we were showed our seats, couldn't believe it that we were at the 2nd row from the stage.. Gosh! Super up close I tell u...hee.... And Ahmad Idham was aligned with us so I dare not catch a wink...Some parts of the musical was abit draggy...Esp those emo ones...And zed zaidi's script I guess only filled up a page...hehe...

AND I'VE BOT THE TIC FOR GREEN DAY CONCERT!! Dooooooooooooookie!

Happy and Thankful

Indeed, things happen for a reason. This week, well in fact from last weekend onwards, I have been feeling quite happy. The meet up with the BFFs and the two lil girls is so blissful. And I thanked Allah for that. To have friends like them. Even their husbands are great friends. :D

On Monday evening, had that 54:34 chat with Mr IS. hehe..It did bring back funny and fond memories since 9 freaking years ago. And I found myself smiling to sleep...Freaky.

On Wednesday, met the other BFF. And she treated me at Pizza Hut! Yummy! Not only that, she even got me a cute bookmark and the Famos Amos cookie! ;P

And finally, now I know why Big Boss has been bothering me about a dinner treat. Aiya! Of all meals, dinner? Wonder if he deliberately wants me to ask him out. haha! I mean lunch is during office hours what. Suggested KFC but he still wants his Pizza...SO I guess have to wait for your return from Penang eh...

BFFs

Last Friday I shopped a lil. Hee! Then BFF came over to my place since Mom cooked laksa. She reached about 8pm and only got home after 11pm. Had fun giggling and being scolded by Mom umpteen times.

Anyways on Sat went to a friend's engagement and then watched Funny People. While on Sunday waited patiently for dawn to come. Cos got to meet the BFFs like finally... All of them...Plus the babies as well... And I decided to whip them Muffins cos initially wanted to do up a brownie but coouldn't have the complete ingredients. Since bro sent me to Teck Y as I was plain lazy to walk over, I had to rush since he's off to an Open House. Duh.. In the end managed to grab the sparkling jus only...

Haiz...I was just back from 2days MC how will I know of what happened at work. And just because he was sick at the same time as me doesn't mean I know what he knows.

And then kena lecture by ALI at msn tak psl2...Long winded seh...Gerams...Mcm nak bantai je...Hold me back...NOW.

Nevertheless, Berg came. So must SMILE. And there's the escort of that SHELL lecturer :D

Best part is SIS is HOME!!! And mtg BFF later...

Feeling Better

Yeah! So good to be resting at home...hee... Altho I did not really nap today. Watched nonsense DVD of Sifu and Tongga - this kinda plot oso can become movie. WEIRD! Believe it or not I have taken 10 pills each of two different kinds. Pink (altho my fave color but NOT when it comes to drugs), orange and the cough syrup. It's been ages since I took cough syrup and I still ponder how it can become addictive when it's super bitter. Yikes!

I confessed that I take 15mins every 'medicine time' cos I had to suck on those colorful M&Ms in between the drugs. If only it tasted the same as those chocs, I'd be done in less than 5. Anyways, thanks to the cough syrup, I have more flam now and I think I'm getting better. Hopefully the M&Ms won't cancelled off the medicine. haha.

This morning, my SSBF called. And we talked almost 1hr plus. Gosh while I still in bed and she on the way to work. I think I kept her company throughout her journey. Ceh! And at the end of the conversation we found out something in common. Yikes! Sometimes I hate knowing too much info..hee! And it seems that all of our friends, bfs, exes kinda linked up. Freaky!

A friend once told me "never let one tree destroy the whole forest!" Hmmm should I add fertilizers so that more beautiful green trees can grow? Cow dung sounds good but I prefer horses'. hee!

But hey! Tmr Friday already! Yipeee. And sis gonna be bac and I'm gonna meet BFFs this weekend! :D

2nd and 3rd MC

Yup. I'm on my 2nd and 3rd MC of the year. The first was taken in Feb. This morning with no breakfast, dragged my two feet to Teck Y clinic. Altho I reached around 8.40am and that the clinic opens at 8.30am, I was alr given number 15. Yikes! Did the rest queue the night before? I wondered.

It was not until 10.45am that my number was up. Told the doc of the flu n sore throat, he whipped out his stethoscope and screened me for quite some time. I didn't know if I should take slow breaths or pant. hee.

Then I was given the two days MC cos he said I have a slight fever. BOREDOM!

Washed my stinky NIKE and I guess I'm gonna catch Upin and Ipin later! ;D

Lucky Day

Yup! I strongly feel that today is MY day. Nvm that I'm wearing that stinky Nike shoes and super casual attire to work. And nvm that I'm getting the flu bug from Dad. Nvm we waited about 10mins for the super not nice and salty Macaroni soup plus glossy Mee goreng for lunch and did not enjoy them a single bit.

Because after last night, I felt happy. Today partner's back..for good! And not only that, Eye Candy came back and bought me Green Tea Kit Kat (yikes!) and H&M shawl. Aiks nak suro aku rajin pi masjid nampak. hee!




And the other two happenings (maybe more than two) let's just not mention them. :D Wondered why the student bowed at us before entering the Gents. HEE!

Yamastic!

The movie was giggly all the way through! And we were surrounded by guys (is that a good sign?? I choose to believe so)....hee! We met a tad earlier and I managed to grab my MAC powder, PINK IPOD Nano (got video camera u know!? so COOL!) and then made our way to Cinelesure..Obviously there's still lesser Malay people cos they'd be bz with Hari Raya outing.

We only covered Ion after the movie and felt bimbotic to have walked over to Wheelock to get the Ipod Nano when there's actually an outlet in Ion. Duh! hee. Other than that, did not really buy anything else...No nice tops caught my interest.

After BFF joined us, we had dinner at Ayam Penyet thanks to her cravings. The picture below is misleading cos we had another plate of Beefballs Penyet. It was indeed bloating what more with my Happy Soda. As usual, I just had to steal BFF's bitter Teh Sosro. Yikes!

We were supposed to catch a bus behind Taka but made a few pit stops at MNG, Zara and then she dragged me to Coach. Didn't take me long to decide to buy the PINK signature wristlet! So there you go, my splurge of the month. But I must say I've been proud of myself for this month as I have been able to curb the spending.. alot. Hari Raya played its huge part tho. hee

And HUGE thanks to Mr IT guy that I managed to load it up with all my songs despite him labelling me as Paris Hilton just cause it's in HOT pink! pppprrrrrffffffftttttttttt! ;P

Life's good and I can't wait for sis to be home..............

The pancit driver

So, the colleagues raya outing was simple and brief...We don our traditional Black and Pink baju from campus. And Lynda has to ask if we looked like walking flags. Thanks! Of course we got the ocassional stares (prasan sia) especially from those foreign students. First stop was Syiq's place and after the warm up with Horfun, we made our way by cab to my place.


From my place, I was forced to be a driver and dragged Wira out from his sleep mode. Thankfully, we reached Wdlands safely and guaranteed that both chicks were neither drowsy nor nausea from my driving...haha...cos that's the first time I drove my girls around without Mom or Sis beside me...hee...That's how dependent I am on them.


Worst, after sending Syiq home, I have to drive myself home alone...Aaaaaahhhh! It's been three yrs since I passed but for the record I have nvr ever drive alone...Yikes! U know la the thots of the car breaking down halfway, stalling (Wira's manual rem?) or Fatima Rockers decided to tumpang me home (especially at KJE). Hee... Fortunately, I reached home safely with the company of Love songs from Class 95. How perfect! You wouldnt wana know how loud I played the music but I din wind down the windows. Otherwise, the stretch of KJE may know of my ordeal. Good enuf that only Wira could tell on it. For now.


Nevertheless, I enjoyed the short and brief Raya outing. Truly. The pics are with syiq for now...Yes minah, I'm waiting for them patiently. The best part is all my Raya pics are in sis' Canon and she's all the way in China now... Dang! So probably cld only share aft Friday when she's bac... Managed to chat with her for a while last nite and she told me she got me a bracelet (not Tiffany's to my dismay) but genuine pearls she claimed... hmph! As usual said dono wat else to get me but told her to not get anything juz get me LV when she's back! Hahaha... Dreaming...

And today, sis, partner and Ah Nian all dumped me for their hols. Thank God partner coming back on Tue.. But I'd be catching the following movie later...For the feast of my eyes! And gotta get a few stuff as well....I'm oh so excited!

the Ugly Truth

Yes. The truth always turns out UGLY at times. That's a fact of life I guess. Just like sometimes the truth HURTS. But nevertheless, I did had a good laugh watching the movie on a Monday evening.

Yesterday, had fun doing the brisk walk with a new buddy! Managed to do two rounds at the mozzie-infested Yunnan Gdn. About 50 crunches and 50 narrow squats (again) but still FAT today. YIKES! Cannot wait for the next one.

Since my PSBF smsed me negatively in the morning, I suggested to her cuzzin to give her a surprise visit! Waited at BP lrt platform for him aft the sweaty brief workout for a good 15-20mins (well at least got interesting people to see). hee.

We rushed over and grabbed chocs for her on the way. Hopefully, she will feel much better today. Felt low when I see her like this but I know she will get over it real soon. It's only a matter of time. And to that guy, you better watch your back cos what goes around comes around. Ya, u better be ALONE for now. ForEVER sounds good too. JERKs
